I love coming here to walk on the nature trail area.
The park is easy to access and well maintained.
The nature trail area has a paved loop that is roughly a mile long.
There are several smaller marked trails that you can choose to leave the pavement and explore if you're so inclined.
I love the wildlife I get to experience while walking here.
The birds are always talking to each other. The squirrels shoveling through the fallen leaves, looking for little things to eat. Rabbits and deer are a fun thing to keep an eye out for!
Personally, I love how the pavement makes it easier to notice the little things going about their days. The snail slowly working it's way across the path, or if you're lucky- you might catch a turtle going for a stroll!
Dogs seem to really enjoy getting to walk here as well! I can often see them smiling as I walk past.
Because the trail is paved, it's also good for family bike rides, and perhaps skating as well!

We visited the park with family several weeks ago and hiked the Scout Trail. Leaf colors were amazing and we really appreciate the work of people maintaining the trails.

My Daughter Loves this park. There's a shelter house, swings and a larger bouncing, climbing play area. She loves when everyone brings their dogs for walks. 🙂

This is one of the nicest parks in town. Pretty common to see deer. I highly recommend taking a mountain bike through the central trails.

I took my great grand children there to play. Love the gym area that has the pads under it. They loved what they called the zip line. Wish they had one shorter for the smaller ones. There getting to heavy to pick up. They found rocks with different sayings on them that they . I had them rehide them for the next ones that comes along. They really enjoyed searching for them and in turn rehiding them. There was swings, rocking animals slide. They met some other children and they all played together.

Has three good playgrounds. Each are for different age groups. There's a very nice ball field that had league play. Good paved walking trail that makes a large circle were you'll see some wildlife. This trail doubles as a drive but everyone I've seen drives carefully and slow. There are a few dirt/gravel walking trails through the woods. One is a neat scout trail and the other follows a small creek and is very peaceful. There is a nice covered area with several picnic tables for lunch or gatherings. Along the paved road there are some benches and a gazebo that's a nice place to sit or have a picnic.

I love walking the trails with my daughters and we always run into sweet puppies to pet. The playground equipment is very nice and doesn't get hot to the touch in summer.

Rolling Hills park is in Boonville, Cooper County , MO.
There is a paved 1 mile circle through the park which you can drive through with any motor vehicle. Many people walk this route around the park. There are a few scattered picnic tables and a small covered gazebo with room for 2 or 3 cars to park near it.

As you enter the park there is a road which goes off to the right where youth baseball and softball is played by local youth teams. There is a building which has restrooms for those attending the games and for those who walk in the park.

Also near the park entrance there is a parking area and a pavilion with several picnic tables and a play yard for children various playground for climbing , and a sliding board.

For those who prefer not to hike on the paved surface are some gravel trails that wind through the park. Deer squirrels and assorted birds can often be seen in the park.

I love to visit here. Nice shelter house to relax in for a quiet meal and break from work. . Does have a grill. Water and playground. Baseball area near by. But not ok verly close. Wonderful paved road circle to walk or run on. Under the trees. Rest areas along the way. Benches and tables scattered around the loop.

Beautiful park in the middle of town. Good place to go for a walk, jog, hike or just relax under a shade tree. I usually see deer, squirrel, and rabbits. Lots of birds too.
