Jim's Place

WOW I am so glad I stopped in for dinner tonight Jim's Place. I have been passing by here for years intending to stop in but never have until tonight. What a great experience.

I feasted upon the most delicious Calzone filled with fresh ricotta, mozzarella, pepperoni, flavorful sausage and onions. What a treat this was after a busy day. When this tasty dish arrived at my table it didn't even fit on the plate. There was no way I was going to be able to finish it but I was going to give it my best effort. That effort was not successful but they brought be a box and it tasted even better the next day.

Jim's Place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive from downtown St. Augustine and I will definitely be back soon!

The hamburgers were great tasting, and my wife had the lasagna... Very tasty, fantastic staff.

A gem of a restaurant still remains in St.John's County. The atmosphere is an awesome 1940's era general store with cool country decor. The food is authentic and made like in the old days.... GOOD. Our pizza and stuffed slice were excellent. Crust was spot on and all the toppings were quality in flavor and texture. The staff were super nice and greeted everyone that came through the door with a smile. Very impressed with Jim's Place as this type of food and service is becoming a rarity in this day and age. Great prices as well. 10 out of 10.

Wonderful hole in the wall restaurant on the side of 207. I discovered this gem of a place several years ago & try to stop by any time I can. They accurately cook burgers to the requested level, have quality food, and have great flavor. Staff might be a little rough around the edges but for the great tasting food, reasonable prices, & daily specials it’s a must stop. I have introduced many colleagues/friends to this place that have said they will frequent following their initial exposure. Keep up the great work!

Heard about Jim’s Place on a site about bike trails. We made it a stop along our bike hike from Hastings. The place was great. Good food, large portions and good prices. Friendly staff and a local, low-key atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Advised on how long it would take and food was done before that time. Excellent service. Delicious and plenty of food. Great prices for quality and quantity.

Although they serve some of the best pizza I've ever had, my wife has had almost the whole menu. It's quality ingredients and top notch preparation make for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Fresh & hot food, generous portions (you definitely won't leave hungry and will likely need a to go box!), friendly service and great prices. Fri & Sat are BIG fish days & it is so good! Calzone are giant sized and the pizza burger was an excellent combo of burger, sauce and cheese. Onion rings we're tender and sweet on the inside, crunchy on the outside and not greasy! The way they should be! They take credit but prefer cash, the front porch has a handicap ramp on the left, you can sit inside or outside, and there is plenty of parking.

Delicious cheddar cheese burger and coleslaw!

On a recent visit we had delicious calzone and cheese burger with egg. The only objection was the very loud heavy metal music playing in the kitchen. Didn't fit the place at all.

Food was excellent! Waitress was friendly and accommodating.
We'll definitely be back. It was a nice day and we sat outside on the patio area.

Amazing food and service. We love coming here . They make you feel like home and a very comfortable place to eat.

It was fairly busy with one waitress last night but she handled it like a champ and even kept our drinks filled. She even had to put up with our little 3 year old. Their food is always good and was just as good last night. Were regulars and love it.

Right off of 207 in Elkton, this is a great little restaurant that does basic food well. Their menu is surprisingly diverse with options of pizza, burgers, wraps, calzones, sandwiches, and full dinner plates.
The food is well prepared and came out hot, evrything tasted wonderful, and the service was awesome. It's about a 10 minute drive outside of St. Augustine, but well worth it.

Step back in time to enjoy some of the best modern Americana food! Pizza and burgers, Oh My how delicious and the staff was fabulous

Fast, friendly service, great food and a generous amount at more than reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Baked sausage roll with peppers, onion,and mozzarella cheese. To big for one person. Bacon cheese burger with onion rings. Nice little stop between Palatka N St Augustine

Great out-of-the-way place to have lunch. The service was great and the food fantastic.
