Was very excited to dine here after having such an exceptional experience at MAS this past winter. The wife and I came in for our third wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been a more perfect dining experience. The food leaves you longing for more after every bite, the drinks and especially for me the sake we’re far superior to anywhere else locally, and the atmosphere is of that what you would expect from a restaurant in the Bay Area or New York City. Can’t wait to come back more often! We’ll done Chefs and Team!

The Blue Pool oysters were both superb and flawlessly shucked. The chef's sampler was equally fantastic. I'll definitely be making another reservation. Highly recommended.

Intimate venue with thoughtfully presented food. Ideal for smaller parties (2 - 3ppl). Not for the famished. Bar was well-curated; service attentive & friendly. Recommended for a unique experience.

Local jewel. Must go in your visit to Ashland. Everything in the menu is incredible. Fresh, flavorful and original. They mount the plates in thoughtful way, great for instagram enthusiasts. Good drinks, variety of options. The menu changes constantly, but you’re in for a treat!

Nama is an excellent raw bar that offers the freshest ingredients as they are available. We have been several times. We love to check out what is beautiful and fresh in the glass case at the bar. They have an extensive selection of sakes, as well as a small, curated selection of local and international wines. They also have a full selection of liquor.

When we dine at MÄS, we always save a little room for an after-dinner drink at Nama with the fun, friendly and lively staff.

We wandered into NAMA during our stay in Ashland. The raw bar menu is well curated and good for sharing. We ordered almost the entire menu and everything was so delightfully delicious, highlighting the freshness of the ingredients with clever infusion of asian flavors. The oysters from northwest are briny and packed with flavors. Also highly recommend the tiger prawns, King salmon, and poke bowl. But you really can’t go wrong with anything. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

What an evening.

As I sit here devouring yet another crab + lil shrimp roll after 18 oysters, I can’t help but close my eyes in such delight over the sophisticated, beautifully complex flavors of Nama. Make sure to chat with Luke about his ingredients and thought process; you’ll instantly understand how special this place is. Kelsey (drinks extraordinaire) adds such a warm touch to this spot!

Best way to experience this place is as a party of 2, sharing all iced bentos (the ikura is TO DIE FOR) and plates available on the menu. TRY. IT. ALL.

They just recently launched an oyster + sparkling wine HH. Take advantage.. it’s a great introduction to the simple, clean + modern space, but believe me when I say it’ll leave you craving EVERYTHING on the ever-changing, seasonally appropriate menu.

Nama and Mas are shining stars for Ashland, Oregon. We feel lucky to have these restaurants in our town. Never disappointed. Highly recommend!

If I could give Nama a Michelin Star, I would. Luke has crafted an extraordinary experience that cannot be topped. Not only has he mastered the art of presentation, but he has elevated the world of cuisine with his profound tastes and pairings. Would highly recommend.

NAMA is phenomenal. Very fresh and curated with flavors like no other. Made my “pass though” of Ashland a true memory. Highly recommend passing through this restaurant.

I stumbled on Nama during a long road trip and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The quality, freshness and presentation of the seafood was stellar and I left feeling satiated and content. Making a point of visiting again on my next trip through.

This is absolutely my most favorite restaurant in Ashland. The intention and care that goes into every single bite is incredible, and every dish I've had is out of the world. Love the cocktails, and best oysters too! 💘

This place is a gem. The chef, Sara, is amazing. Really lovely and unusual flavors and very fresh tasty seafood. Friendly also. Caleb, our cook, kindly got a bunch of shells together for us for our garden. Intimate location, and lined with several species of wood.

If only I could eat at NAMA every week where I live...sigh. We randomly made a reservation during an overnight stay in Ashland on our way to CA over the Christmas holiday, and were more than impressed by the service, food and our overall experience. So much, that we booked another overnight stay on our way home, JUST so we could visit NAMA again. We will definitely be back for another visit sometime soon!

Had a truly special night at NAMA with family while stopping through Ashland on a long road trip. Unique, beautiful seafood and salads paired with pitch-perfect wines and sakes.

Sarah and the NAMA staff are so thoughtfully passionate about their craft, and it shows from the moment you walk in the door. Couldn’t recommend NAMA highly enough.

Cozy and delicious oyster bar in the center of the Ashland scene. Spot on wine selection (they carry some wonderful traditional-method wine) and I love the bubbles they pair with the oysters.
And, their happy hour is not to be missed, it’s great to start out or finish a night out on the town.

This place has the "Wow" factor after every first bite! A friend and I decided to head to Nama for a spontaneous dinner. She's been a few times, but this was a first for me. Every single thing we tried was absolutely amazing. Chef Sarah was excellent and explained every dish in great detail and had perfect suggestions on pairing sake with the dishes. I am not usually a fan of oysters, but hell, I guess I am now with them melting in your mouth accompanied by a delicious and complimenting sauce. The trout, "Wow!" or on the menu it's called Miso Masu was incredible along with probably the best rice I have ever had. You'll definitely be walking out with a smile and wondering how someone can create so many dishes that melt in your mouth with that kind of flavor.
