Save A Lot

I haven't been to the Sav A Lot in Silver Creek in a long while but since I was in the area and needed butter, I stopped here. They had the dark cherries on sale and who can pass them up considering they aren't here for nearly long enough. I was not disappointed. I did have some trouble trying to use the coupon scan thing to get the sale price for the butter. Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been an issue but I was in a hurry what with the temp in the mid-80's and two dogs in the car. Windows were down but it doesn't help in the humidity. The nicest part of the whole trip isn't as much about the store because I've always liked that particular Sav A Lot. Usually better sales than the one in Dunkirk. It just so happened that I ran into a friend I haven't seen in almost eight years and she was working there as a cashier. She didn't recognize me immediately without any makeup on at all but I recognized her and it made my day. This probably want one of my better reviews but there's only so much to be said about a grocery store. With the price of food what it is, it's a miracle that I managed to say anything pleasant.

Friendly staff. Always ready to assist customers with a smile! Although I have noticed this particular location has higher prices. To me, it's worth the extra few minutes to ride to Dunkirk or North Collins for larger shopping orders as the prices are MUCH lower at those other two locations.

A four pack of saltines at Save-A-Lot is ?1.49.. a four pack of Saltines at Tops supermarket is $4.00 ----need I say anymore?

Silvercreek Save a lot is now one of my go to places for shopping...

Local grocery store! Great prices esp. on Rooties blue cheese!

Good store , and location , sometimes find great deals on meats,and fruits,veggies .

Always clean with friendly employees . Prices are most times better than the competition .

Stopped in early and I was one of two customers and was treated with respect. Friendly customer service, speedy check out with a smile. The place was clean and fresh, shevels were stocked. Great prices on a budget, not a big variety but you can find your needed items if you buy non name brands. One extra comment, they GIVE you brown paper bags, no charge! Check them out, stop in and save a dollar or two.

I love coming everyday the cashiers are amazing. Always friendly. Never a negative experience. I love chatting with the employees 😍 I look forward to seeing and trying to keep them smiling. This store was so clean and well organized compared to the ones in Hamburg NY. This one in Silver Creek had lots to choose from as well. Great produce and grocery to pick from.

They have very reasonably priced groceries. You don't have to walk 10 mi to find what you need. Okay obviously I'm exaggerating a little bit meaning it's not like Walmart, it's a smaller store... They have some really good steaks! If you want to save on your food bill shop here.

Good layout. Im usually shopping for a specific product and they always have it.

Good location and very clean. Easy to shop because the isles and the items on the shelves are very visible. No need to Reach Far for food.🍓 Use the coupons in the mail 😏

The best. Always have the items on sale. Meat is always fresh and well trimmed. The clerks are fast and efficient. Well stocked and clean. Ample parking, well lit and cool inside.

I like their steaks in the multi packs. Not available at all times. Plenty of other food and related items available.
