Great atmosphere, soft music, friendly staff, and tasty treats.

Eggcellent time here! Comfy seats, tantalizing smells, and I get to practice my mandarin skills. I ordered typing in Pinyin which was a treat for the staff because they didn't even know that was possible.

Definitely foreshadowed the meal, because I typed 好吃 (delicious) and everything was in fact DELICIOUS! Creamy cheese tarts fresh out of the oven = melty gooey goodness, crisp crunchy crust, and a happy customer :)

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This is such a cute, sweet spot for boba (& more!) - the ambiance, drinks, and vibe transported me back to Asia. 😍 Love that there are a variety of tea options but not overwhelmingly so. I got the tieguanyin oolong + tea jelly +crystal boba +cheese foam. My husband got the brown sugar espresso with pudding. And we got the last 2 cheese tarts (yuzu)! We enjoyed it all and even got another drink to go - Yakult orange, love this as a caffeine free option!! Will definitely be back soon to try the hojicha tiramisu and other goodies (even tho we live an hour away)!

Tried ube cream milk tea and yakult orange, both tastes great! The store is very cute, will definitely come back if getting a chance to visit Albany again. Highly recommend for locals!

The Creme Brulee boba tea is phenomenal, if you are there to satisfy your sweet tooth. They also have some very interesting add-on choices (such as mochi-- which was a surprising texture and turned out to be quite good)

The staff is cheery and welcoming.

I love this place. The service is wonderful, the owners have a good attention to detail and are always genuinely kind. The menu has good variety and isn't overwhelming. There are multiple ways to order, either at the counter, the kiosk, or you can scan a QR Code to go online. The atmosphere is a cozy open concept with a cute theme. The desserts are lovely and delicate and the drinks are delicious and customizable to your taste. They used to have a little counter in the mall but I am glad they have their own place now. It is in a small plaza across from the Mobil station/Stewarts just past the Western Avenue mall entrance. The sign is small do try not to miss it.

I like the vibe here. Clean and comfy. Perfect for studies or gathering . The drinks are of good quality! Highly recommended.

Gorgeous little gem of a store. Their employees are incredibly nice and friendly, and the yuzu egg tart in particular is a creamy delight. I'd love to try the chocolate one if I can ever get there in time, because they rightfully sell out of tarts quickly.

They have the best drinks in albany!
My favorites are:
- the rose milk tea (theirs is the only rose drink I've had around here that actually tastes floral! I always ask for no sugar, no ice).
- the creme brulee brown sugar latte (if you mix it a little bit, (I think) it tastes even better!).
- the yuzu egg tarts (the egg tarts are like a custard kind of thing; at Eggcellent, the tarts taste like a proper dessert, rather than a quiche or something).

They also have some coffee flavors, which is great for starting the day. In addition to bubbles, they also have fruit teas, milk teas, yakult (probiotic) teas, and a matcha tiramisu and a matcha cheesecake! The tiramisu is sooo good!

They have different flavors -- ube, yuzu (like lemon), "original", and caramel. Each is delightful! (If you save them for later, consider warming them before eating them.) I like the yuzu best.

The owners are friendly, and the eating space is well lit and pleasant to sit in. Window seats and table seats exist.
They are on western ave, in albany. Next to Casey Vision, across the street from a Mobil.

You will not find better bubble tea anywhere in the Capital Region. They are brilliantly creative with their desserts and teas. Their teas are decadent and delicious, especially their Creme Brulee milk tea. Their rose milk tea tastes like how a botanical garden smells. Their fruit teas are refreshing and delicious; I am partial to their Mega Strawberry.

Not only is everything they create amazingly delicious, but also, they are some of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met. Their store is inviting, welcoming, and generally aesthetically pleasing. It's easy to relax and talk with friends in there. I am always looking for excuses to pop by.

Pretty much the BEST bubble tea I've ever had! I would definitely recommend the cream cheese brown sugar latte with coffee jelly, it was perfectly sweet and the cream cheese surprisingly went well with it, and there's a special technique they use for decorating the top (watch them, it's so cool!) Did not wait too long for the drinks, and they're awesomely priced for how good they are (drinks for three people come out to about $16). Staff are very friendly. When visiting NYC, I've gotten AUTHENTIC bubble tea from Koreatown and Chinatown, and this bubble tea is JUST AS good. Will definitely be a regular.

Excellent bubble tea place with yummy cake! We really enjoyed the bubble tea there & the cake was amazingly delicious as well! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s in love with bubble tea. A must try!

Lovely boba cafe. They’ve got many kinds of tea. The atmosphere is cozy. Egg tarts are delightful! My favorite are the ube tarts. Everyone should visit!

Absolutely delicious! My favorite bubble tea I've ever tried anywhere and I've had it in many cities, countries, and two continents. Simply wonderful. We got the creme brulee brown sugar latte. Cannot recommend more.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Their cheese foam is sweet and salty, so fresh, and the tarts are made to perfection and always fresh too! I wish this business started earlier. I've lived in Albany for 10+ years and never had milk tea this good! This is my go-to spot in Crossgates Mall. I can't leave the mall without stopping here! Wishing this place good business for years to come! I am a loyal customer. 💕

I used to go to Eggsellent every single day when I worked at the mall. They had a booth right outside of my store and their smoothies with cheese topping were my favorite! I am so happy to see they have moved and expanded, they are amazing people who make amazing drinks and treats! <3

Coming from NYC with a spoiled palate, this place has the best tea drinks in the capital region. Try the Matcha red bean mochi latte and you’ll experience what I’m saying. Not a big fan of egg tarts in general but their crust is good.

This is the best boba tea place in Albany! It used to be in Crossgates Mall, but now is on Western Ave. the store is always clean and the food and drinks are always consistently awesome!!!

Delicioooous!!! The egg tarts are very cute and tasty and also not to mention the drinks! 😋😋🤤! The workers there are also supa nice and friendly. One of the best places you could stop by when you are thirsty.
