Firing Line

Great experience! I took the pistol training course and Dan was our instructor. He was calm, easygoing, and very knowledgeable. He starts his course with some brief, very cool gun history and then some gun safety. Then we did some hands on gun handling, reloading, etc. The last part of the course was the gun range and Dan did a great job of making us all feel safe while creating a really fun environment.

Everyone at the shop was friendly, I'm going to head back there next weekend to learn more about getting my first gun. Thanks Dan and everyone else at Firing Line.

I decided to take a gun safety class here after I bought a gun. Dan was my instructor and he was excellent. He took his time explaining everything I needed to know and answered all my questions.
He was very patient when we went into the range to use the gun. I highly recommend to take his class.

I took a first time shooter class and then I came back for a lesson on my AR 15. Dan was my instructor and he was the best. Very thorough very calm and he really has an eye for detail and walks you through each step. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor and the Firing Line staff is always super friendly and accommodating to any of your firearm needs. I definitely will be back over and over again to gain more experience with my firearm.

First time here ... and I liked it.
I normally go to Action Impact on 8 Mile (much closer to my house). Came here with two other people leaving in the area.
I liked to friendly / homey / warm feeling. Ended up here after skipping another shooting range, 2 miles west of this one. That was way too fussy for us.
One thing I liked: they have a dedicated range for shot guns. I never liked to shoot 9mm or 5.56 and the guy next to me goes semi-auto with a 12 gage.
Prices were in normal range. Recommended.

From my first visit I have always been impressed with the Firing Line Staff. All of them know their stuff and their first time shooters class with Dan Murray was a Blast. I brought my cousin there and he absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend this range to anyone especially first time shooters. Keep up the good work guys!

I LOVE this range. I have taught my private CPL classes, Refuse To Be A Victim classes, and Basic Pistol Classes here. The staff is friendly, the environment is just wonderful! There is plenty os shooting lanes so you’re never waiting long.

Yesterday I brought my kids to attend youth safety course. Instructor Joe did excellent job on training. I appreciate his information and help. Very good information for youth safety. Recommend to all youth.

Firing Range is Great!...All the Staff are very Knowledgeable, and classes are really Affordable... A "Special thank you", to Dan my Instructor, who has a lot of patience, and explains everything, before we do it... I would highly Recommend this place, to anyone is interested in getting a Firearm.... And Ask for Dan... For personal Instruction...

I had a great trainer Bryce Buja made me feel comfortable and he has patience. I come to see him everytime I come. I recommend him for your AR15 training.

I'm real upset by the recent person screaming in all caps about alleged racism they claimed they experienced. Nonsense! I'm a young black man in my 20s, my buddies men and women who also shoot with are black, and NEVER ONCE have any of us had any sort of racist treatment of any kind from anyone at the Firing Line from owners to sales force to support. The person complaining needs to look in the mirror to see the real problem.

Good place to shoot and practice. Two separate handgun ranges and separate range for the louder rifles - Yea! Very good sales and supply elsewhere in the store. To me, one of the better ranges in the area.

Have been here three times now, and have used the handgun range during each of those visits as well as rented guns during 2 of them. This is where I got my first ever experience on a range as well as shooting a handgun. It was very welcoming, patient, and not at all intimidating like I had imagined it would be. On my second visit, I bought my own handgun, and again, they were very welcoming, patient, professional, and not intimidating at all. I felt very relaxed and at ease during my visit. Everyone was very helpful, and as a first-time shooter/renter/buyer, I felt very comfortable here. Would easily recommend this place for people like myself who are just starting to explore their 2nd amendment rights!

Bought a handgun here, long-time hunter, first-time handgun buyer. Tyler was VERY helpful, spent a lot of time answering questions and steering me to the right gun. VERY happy!

I loved my first visit at Firing Line. I don't know her name but I told her that it was my husband's birthday and if they did anything special. Well, I don't want to make what she did public. But she knows what she did. I was so shocked and happy how she treated our group. Wow, talk about first impressions. She said just make sure you all by the birthday boy a cake. We will definitely be back in all I have to say. She was an angel and I gave her a big hug. Happy New Year to The Firing Line crew!

Great store! I’ve done business here for years and I am always greeted and helped in a timely manner. Firing line has competitive pricing and knowledgeable staff that don’t mind shooting the breeze with you while you’re browsing. This shop usually has some very cool & hard to find/rare items that you just don’t see often as well as a decent selection of constantly revolving used/consignment pieces. Firing line is definitely operated by people who share the appreciation & love of firearms, which is awesome to see from customer/enthusiast perspective. Keep up the good work guys! 5 star review all ready and I haven't even had the chance to fire my new gun, I went in set on a specific new gun and came out with a way better one. The employees here know what they are doing, I'll update this next visit. I'm only sure my rating would go up more, couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I've bought a few guns here , great service and doesn't take forever to fill out necessary paperwork. Great CPL classes, most my family has taken thier classes here. Always have fun on the range!

This place is the best! It’s a one stop shop for all of your firearm needs. I highly recommend taking the first time shooter and gun safety course, taught by Dan. Dan is an amazing instructor, very patient and engaging.

This is really a good place to learn and practice mainly for first time shooters. This place is very comfortable, they have guns and accessories and the staff are knowledgeable. Dan who trained me is very knowledgeable, resourceful, professional and friendly. He will make sure you got the habit to use the safety measures. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Firing Line for gun, ammo, accessories and range time for at least the past 15 years. They have always been very knowledgeable and priced reasonably. They have always been very professional. I read a rating whereas someone posted that they were raciest against African-Americans. So far from the truth. They actually have top notch African-Americans that work for them. Including a top notched CCW instructor that provides awesome results. I was there two weeks ago purchasing a handgun for my wife. During our time there, I witnessed multiple African-Americans either considering purchasing or purchasing firearms and all were treated like I was. I will continue to have Firing Line as my one stop shop for all my future firearm related purchases! PS: Tried many other local gun shops in the past but will continue to use Firing line as my primary source. Please keep up the great service you offer Fire Line!!!
