Gojos Cafe & Pancake House

Thought I already posted about this fine establishment but will try again. This place is great, really nice menu with lots of choices and very reasonable prices. Service was really good too with nice distance between diners in these trying times. I had the enchiladas meal and it was better than I've tasted in a lot Mexican restaurants we have eaten at. My daughters had the turkey meal and ceaser salad which they both enjoyed very much.

Really excellent food, it is my usual go to for breakfast with friends and family. The price for the food is so affordable. You get a lot of food for your money. The waitress is always filling you up on coffee which is great customer service in my book. I always recommend this place to everyone. My favorite is the Mega Breakfast Combo and it fills me up.

I found this restaurant, while visiting my grandson, in Illinois. Had the urge for a breakfast burrito and I was not disappointed. Take out service was so warm and friendly, every time the wait staff walked by, there smile brightened up my day. I would definitely recommend this place, if you are in the Waukegan, Illinois area.

This place was great. The menu is HUGE everyone will fine something they like. But they are known for their Broaster chicken… moist tender and crispy it’s was so dang good I can’t wait to go back.

Great place to eat!!! Family dining, great wait staff. Unlimited coffee :) very reasonable prices. Did I mention great wait staff??? Great food breakfast, lunch or dinner. If I ever return to the Chicago area I will definitely make a special trip to eat here

Very comfy diner feel with kind, attentive service and really good food! I'm not usually a huge fan of eggs, but Gojos omelettes are just delicious! But if pancakes are more your speed, don't worry; they make some phenomenal pancakes that are perfectly fluffy, soak up the syrup, but don't dissolve and fall apart.

I'm by no means a breakfast person, but Gojos offers large portions of delicious food at surprisingly affordable prices. Definitely worth repeat visits!

Since we've been here in Illinois we have eaten here twice ,our son graduated from the Navy. He wanted some good food and he and I got the Philly cheese steak with fries and soup. The soup we got was chicken noodle and it was great. He loved the Philly cheese steak and it was big and full of stuff. They were both delicious and I highly recommend going there.

The fried chicken 🍗 and soup are my favorite, delicious. and Fries are good . Everything we had was Good. And what we like is that the place is very clean. Thanks Gojos for all this years.

The inside of the establishment could use some updating in furniture, lighting and decor but the food is delicious here. Prices are a little high for the area.

We sat at the bar and it was clean, friendly, and the food was delicious. Heading back this morning.

This place is one of my favorite breakfast places, it gots that old school American dinning vibe, the staff is really friendly and the food is delicious, here you can find many dishes for everyone including a kids menu,one of my favorite dishes is the Skirt Steak Skillet and the along with my coffee of course, I think this restaurant is a must in waukegan and hopefully we could have it for many years to come..

My family ate here while we stayed in the howard johnson hotel across the parking lot for my brother’s navy graduation. The broasted chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The waffle was large, fluffy, and delicious. It came with generous portions of syrup and butter. Staff was friendly and attentive. Since we stayed at the howard johnson, we were able to get a 10% discount. We enjoyed the food, and customer service was excellent.

Great menu variety! The best part? I really liked that there was something for everyone. The service is quick too and staff was friendly. We ordered the 2 pancakes with eggs and breakfast burrito. The worst part? Honestly, can’t find anything bad to say. We had a good experience and enjoyed our food very much. Even the prices are pretty good. Paid about $50 for 4 adults.

Great place to go have an old-fashioned family meal.

Rosey was are waitress and she did an exceptionally good job. We came 2 days for breakfast while we were in the area. We requested her the second day and she didn't disappoint us.

The last time I was here was 8 years ago. It did not disappoint!! The coffee is still wonderful, the food(I had gyro meat, w/ eggs, toast, hasbrowns)was like coming back to mom's house from being away and having the same great food and feel. Thank you, I'm so glad you all had made it through the pandemic and are still thriving in the area!! 🤌🏽

I just wanted the say. The food was good. That the owner was awesome. The waitress and the cook were amazing and made me feel like I was home. I had to remind my self I had to go home. I felt so comfortable. I hope you guy see thus review. I wanted to thank you for all your services.
