Very efficient post office manned by courteous staff.
Very happy to send my packages from the Hollywood Maryland building. The staff is always helpful with fixing issues since moving to the area with the previous residents mail as well as forwarding from our previous address. One of the best locations I have dealt with in 30 years.

This was by far the best postal service I have ever been too. I have major disabilities, the staff Patricia was amazing, friendly and helped me understand what I was doing. I've never entered a post office with a single clue and am usually snapped at, or rushed.
Patricia was absolutely caring, and beyond conpassionate towards me. I wish I lived near this post office, I come out this way for medical reasons. I'd drive 4 hours just to mail anything here!!!

Best post office in my area. It's not even the post office assigned to my home, but I bring all my packages here because of the excellent service and never a problem! Highly recommended!

This is an old school office (in a good way), every time I go in they remember me and greet me with a smile. They answer all my questions no matter how weird they are. I have sold stuff on ebay for a while and can come up with many questions about how to properly ship it. As odd as it may sound, it is one of the few places left I can walk into around here and remember what St. Mary's was like before everyone stopped caring. Makes you feel good to know there's still nice people around. :)

Easy to get to, never too crowded.

Super helpful at the post office; however, the mail delivery driver, 75% of the time, will not leave our boxes from Amazon, drive up to the front, and at times we get a message stating: Delivery of the item could not be completed because the mail receptacle was blocked. We have a camera outside and nothing was blocked. Why?? I just don't understand why we can't get our boxes delivered to us. We have a front porch, covered --- maybe it's too much work driving up the driveway, getting out and turning around. Oh, and it's awesome when this crap happens during the holidays!! So, our frustration level with the person delivering our mail is super high right now! If I could demand a new driver I would!!

No complaint with service. But one big complaint with "mail delivery jeep"! It needs a tail pipe because it sounds like a freight train and very disturbing.

The older long-haired blonde lady is always very rude. No matter if it’s something very simple, she always seems to have an attitude. The other people I have dealt with have been nice, but I’ve always had an attitude from her every single time I go. I understand that it gets very busy there and it’s a crazy time but customer service is part of the job as well.

Never answer the phone. Called to see if they are open on Easter Monday, stupid USPS

Very difficult lady there to deal with. Tried to mail a package with return mail label provided by the merchant. Lady questioned the size of the box and the return address for no reason. Refused to send it saying label provided was not a good address. Left without sending it after waiting in line and attempting to get the package mailed. Went to California MD Post Office and mailed package without any problems. Told agent there about experience at Hollywood and they didn't know why it couldn't be mailed. Waste of time dealing with Hollywood. Terrible customer service.

Sent a card to my grandson. It was returned to me as Vacant/Return. Talked to my daughter and found out this has happened with other mail of theirs because their street is one letter different from another local street so their mail goes to the wrong street sometimes. Isn't it part of the carriers job to read the entire address as they separate the mail for delivery? Maybe it's time for someone new who will do this job thoroughly. I don't take misdirection of mail lightly.

If i could give them NO stars i would. Someone was home ALL DAY waiting to sign for me as i was expecting very import papers that i had paid extra to be expedited. The carrier had NO attempt to contact, knock on the door, or ring the doorbell but to just leave a “sorry we missed you” card in the mailbox.
