Shoyu Hibachi Express & Poke Bowl

This restaurant offers mainly hibachi meals and poke bowls in a fast food "to-go" type of setting. There are a few tables, though, if you want to dine in or sit while you wait.

We've become regulars here because their food and service are consistently fantastic! The food is always hot, delicious, plentiful, and affordable. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is cooked to order. The owner always has a positive attitude and works hard, cooking alongside his staff.

We like to support small businesses, and this one is definitely worth a try!

Oh, and my husband wants me to emphasize how GREAT the food is!

Finally got to try this place while picking up an order for my daughter. Words to describe my first impression CLEAN and friendly! I wasn’t sure what to order so I tried a lunch special! It was fresh and delicious!! I ordered a lemonade thinking it was boba but it was made with fresh lemons that had been shaken in a machine, was good but sweet for me. My daughter knew what to order, she had salmon and chicken. Now that I know, I’d order a dinner instead of lunch for a few dollars more! All in all I LOVED this place!! We desperately need this in cocoa beach!!

We love Shoyu Hibachi, the food is extremely good, and tasty. The owner and staff are so nice. We make a few adjustments to our order.
The hibachi with white rice shrimp and chicken, no carrots and extra vegetables is my favorite.

3rd place now for Poke in Cocoa Beach - good rival / maybe the best. Why? Their addition of scallops - but even better - their eel is amazing. The Hibachi side didn’t disappoint with shrimp and steak and huge portions. Ordered on DoorDash for pickup but ate here. The manger brought complimentary soup while waiting.

The owners are super people. They put their heart into their cooking 🥘 Always amazing service. The filet Hibachi is always freshly fantastic and cooked perfectly. The poke is fresh and super tasty. I LOVE THE COOKED CARROTS 🥕 They have made hibachi so easy!

Good food and friendly customer service! How they cooked their veggies is unique and their place is clean (including bathroom). Thumbs up for their sauce and free soup!

If we visit Cocoa Beach again, we'll be back definitely!

Great food and great service. We had the shrimp and filet combo plate. Everything was fresh and delicious. The tempura shrimp was hot and fresh. We may return for dinner tonight. It was just that good. Definitely a hidden gem. I’m sorry, but I ate so quickly that I didn’t have time to take a photo of my lunch.

Top notch food quality with tremendous service and very reasonable prices considering the former. Head and shoulders above other quick service Asian restaurants in the area. I have driven 30+ minutes to eat here multiple times in the past few weeks.

My hubby and I went to Shoyu hibachi express and poke bowl last night. They were very busy, but we still got our amazing food very quickly. We started with shrimp shumay, it was super tasty! (I was so busy eating I forgot to take a picture.)😬
My husband had the filet mingon and shrimp hibachi, he said it was cooked perfectly and he mentioned the veggies multiple times.
I had (literally) THE BEST poke bowl I’ve ever eaten. All ingredients were fresh and super delicious. The tuna was amazing! But, what blew me away is that there were ingredients in the bowl I don’t normally like that I gobbled up like the ginger and the seaweed salad.
Not only was the food outstanding, the employees were super friendly with big smiles on their faces, despite being so busy.
This is my new favorite restaurant and I have to say, the people alone make the restaurant worth the drive from Melbourne; but trust me, the food along with massive portions make whatever travel time seem minuscule and are totally worth it.

This is the best poke bowl I’ve had outside of Hawai’i.

Despite how much I order Poke bowls, I’m quite picky and just have to settle. Not today! I am so grateful for this glorious collage of flavor. The ingredients are so fresh and the homemade sauce is delicious. The boba tea was delectable as well, I got the taro with the rainbow jelly and lychee poppings.

The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was so trendy! Will definitely make this a mandatory stop every time I come back to town.

Food is fantastic and the service is top-notch. You can tell the owner works extra hard and the people care about what they are doing. Also seems like a great business strategy with a very efficiently streamlined takeout effort. Highly recommend and congratulations to the ownership on a fantastic addition to the space coast! I’ve been looking for great hibachi ever since we moved out here and my wife loves the poke bowl!

Amazing staff and food. Everyone is SO friendly and helpful. I ordered for a group of 17 people and our group was raving how great the food was, everything was perfect! Definitely one of the top Hibachi places I’ve been to, I will be back and highly recommend it.

The teas are excellent maybe a bit on the sweet side. We ordered shrimp tempura appetizer, it was very good. Both my friend and I ordered the shrimp and filet hibachi it was exceptional, the only thing I could critique would be it was a bit heavy on the salt... Other than that very good.

I was in Cocoa Beach staying at the Hilton for work and a little vacation. Found this place when I was walking around and saw had good reviews on Google. What an absolute hidden gem! The food is amazing!! I had the steak and chicken hibachi for lunch and then two poke bowls for supper on different evenings. So fresh and tasty and good value for money! They icing on the cake are the very friendly and helpful staff, was made to feel very welcome. A really amazing place (can you open a branch in London, U.K. please :-))

Last night was my first and certainly not last time I got takeout from Shoyu Express. I placed my order for two chicken hibachi entrees and then went to Publix to pick up a few items. When I was done, I had my grandson run in and get our dinner. Seconds later he came out with a bag that probably weighed 3 pounds! I got home and inside the bag was our entrees, two containers of clear soup and four little containers of sauce plus chopsticks, forks and knives. A huge portion of fried rice was covered with hibachi chicken with the side sections filled with carrots and the other with grilled mushrooms and onions. This was a massive amount of food!! And it was excellent!! The chicken was perfectly cooked over a bed of real deal fried rice. The big chunks of steamed carrots and the perfectly grilled onions and mushrooms were excellent sides. This is a family run business and they couldn't be any nicer. The next time you get a hankering for a Pubsub walk over to Shoyu Express and get one of these Hibachi entrees, they only cost a couple of dollars more and are well worth it. They also have Poke bowls and combinations. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Wow large portions & yummy. My husband and I wanted a lighter lunch one order was enough for both of us. The carrots where sweet and delicious. The yummy yummy sauce was better than most hibachi grills I have paid a lot more for A+

We spent the day in Cocoa Beach after our cruise before heading back home to Las Vegas and we found this gem!! By far some of the best food we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. 10/10 food, amazing friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere!! Couldn’t ask for anything better :)
