Kickback Cafe

Not just my favorite local coffee shop, my FAVORITE coffee shop. Love all their seasonal drinks (and that I can order my favorites online year-round). Make sure to pair with a chocolate chip orange muffin for best results! Nice outdoor seating area as well.

Stopped at this adorable cafe on a whim to get some food for my mom. We got a slice of quiche and a cup of soup. The soup was too spicy for mom but I liked it! The man working there (maybe was owner?) was friendly, helpful and quick to help! The food was great. The service was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite cafe! The owner Elizabeth pours love into every cup and into everything she bakes. This is a family friendly and neurodiverse friendly establishment. There are many great events and opportunities to meet other members of the community. Local school artwork is on display adding to the cozy atmosphere. Drinks and food are amazing. I can’t say enough about the baked goods (homemade cinnamon rolls!), quiches, and soups. Every visit is a treat!

Great coffee shop, has later hours than most others in town. Nice atmosphere, lots of tables, generally fairly quiet. I enjoy the baked goods and desserts. Not the fastest counter service in town, but I'm not coming here for the speed. I really like the online ordering/ contactless pickup option!

I ordered the vanilla lavender latte. Tyson suggested whole milk for this beverage..... on point Tyson. Thank you. The cafe was super chill, warm and inviting. I would recommend this spot. If it's out of the way for you, it's worth it. So much that I got Mel an iced Carmel latte on my way out!

What a great place! I hosted a small baby shower here this morning and would highly recommend hosting similar events here. The staff was really helpful, welcoming, accommodating - very sweet and professional young employees. The place itself has great roomy seating options - doesn’t feel too crowded at all, and great natural light. Very clean.

Baked goods were out of this world. We had an assortment of muffins and scones that were all delicious. They also set aside a quiche for our group - so good.

Overall an excellent experience. Will definitely be back.

I really love the look and feel of the Kickback Cafe. The food and drinks are good and the wait time wasn’t that bad for me. I love the friendliness of the cashiers and how they greet you when you walk in the door. Very colorful and fun. This is definitely a place where you could sit down with your laptop and get some work done. Tons of seating. The only things I can that are bad is that they have a pretty small menu when it comes to food. They do have a very large lemonade selection though which is good. Overall I love it, 10/10.

The gluten free cookies and scones are amazing as is their coffee. The atmosphere is quaint and cute. It’s fun to meet a friend for coffee or do some studying. They also have some of the best Chai I’ve had 🙂

I dig the coffee here; fun themes and always tastes good. The food is limited to cabinet food, which is okay. If the lime macadamia white chocolate cookie was a regular feature, I'd be here every day.

Cozy cafe in downtown Oregon. I love that it is open at night. The latte I had was great, the barista was friendly while he made it and my son enjoyed the muffin that i brought home for him. Super cool place, i plan on coming back soon.

Best coffee in Dane County. Comfortable atmosphere, delectable pastries, friendly staff. Always well-cleaned public spaces. Surprising and fun restroom motif.

***Update of the update: Really love this spot... after our early morning walk, stopped and got some coffee at our new favorite spot. Last time I said that "The only thing that would make this place better for me to write would be if we could bring our dogs. But hey... we're not in heaven yet, right?" Ask and you shall receive. I think all the Kool Kats go to Firefly, but the early morning dawgz prefer to Kickback.

Top Notch 5 star baristas, yo. He even topped off the dogs water bowl.

Original review: Great coffee. Great atmosphere. A quiet nook that only a few still know about. Quaint space, kind staff. Good place to cool your jets, calm down, and chill a bit.

Very friendly & accommodating. I often bring in my own Yeti and they fill it for $1.
The cafe is neat, clean, green…..even the beautiful restrooms.

Kickback coffee has a great selection of food and drinks as well as a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying your drink. We had a problem with one of our drinks but the staff kindly made my daughter a new drink (even better than the first). Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful and the seating area was nice and clean.

I love going to Kickback. The staff is wonderful, the quiche and muffins are delicious with the great coffee. The cafe is smaller so it’s quiet and comfortable for conversations with friends.

So good. I've gotten so many sweetum treats from there. I like the praline cookie and the orange chocolate chip muffin. I've gotten their lavender coffee and am now trying the Apple Chaider. It's nummy and makes me feel like fall is officially here. The employees are awesome and the owner is awesome. Highly recommend this sweet little small business for your next stop. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards points!! They add up quick for free and discounted treats and drinks!

KBC is a warm and welcoming place. Their bakery and other food are delicious and the staff are friendly an helpful. The coffee is great too!!

This is a great coffee shop with great beverages, food, and atmosphere. It is one of my favorite meeting spaces when I need to meet with friends. Friendly staff.
