Delicious food and beautifully renovated. Very fair prices, large servings, home made French fries, kids menu available! :) we will definitely be back!

Super friendly staff and really tasty and creative food. Try their Breakfast Poutine! Definitely a favorite of the locals, so be prepared to wait, but it's well worth it! Serves New England Coffee Co and it was fresh, hot, and delicious.

The only strike (beyond the typical wait) was the lack of a children's menu. They did say that they were working on it, so hopefully one will be added soon (03/26/2022).

Absolutely phenomenal food. The breakfast poutine is quite possibly one of the best things I've ever tasted. Service was incredible. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend checking them out. Well worth the stop for an incredible breakfast!

I quite frankly don't understand the couple of mean spirited reviews left on this restaurant; they are inaccurate in our opinion. After a couple of years of a pandemic that rocked our world and put many folks our of work, these new owners have taken this restaurant and completely remodeled it. The food is good and the waitstaff are all wonderful. We don't find the prices high - they seem fair and in line to us. Honestly after the pandemic and all it did to so many folks financially, we support those willing to pull themselves up by the bootstraps and forge ahead. Bravo to these new owners! You're obviously not afraid of hard work and we wish you success. We'll be back every time we're in the area!

Consistently great food. Service is always fast and friendly. Check out their specials and dessert case. Owners and staff are accommodating and make you feel like family. We love it here. Make sure to try the Big Mac quesadilla!

The way life is today. Nothing seems as though you ever get your money's worth.
Then, you find the Down Home Cafe and with a smile and great service, a quick return from placing the order to receiving your food. Pretty good prices. Pretty good selection to choose from. Kind of takes you back when things were going better for the country. Perhaps there is hope after all. So thankful these people take the initiative to make others happy and well fed. This will now be my go to restaurant any time I am in the area.

Great food! I had the French toast with pancake juice ;). My wife had the breakfast poutine. Both were excellent! The wait staff is kind, courteous, and upbeat. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

The atmosphere is warm cozy and many locals you can share stories with. Great menus and prices. If your looking for good food conversation and FRIENDLINESS Tina and Kat and new comer Sabrina (I think her name is) is where it’s at!!!

The food is constantly great. If I could have the time to eat here daily I would. It's just that good. I wish they opened at 6am. But I and you cannot go wrong starting at 7am.

My friend and I stopped in for breakfast (our first time.) 😋 Everything was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was Friendly and Spot On!! We've been looking for a quaint little place to become our FAV!.. Our search is over, thanks again! ❤
