This place reminds me of another Chipotle, that was running the same flavor crew, and those clowns were sagging on the job. They were openly cursing with loud music coming from the back. Luckily there was not any sagging, loud music or cursing going on here during my visit. The sad part is both of these locations had the same nasty, filthy, dirty, messy work stations and dining areas.

The work station here…was a COMPLETE DISASTER.

I walked in behind another person, and we both stood at the counter for a least 5 minutes and neither of us were verbally acknowledged. There was a young lady, wearing glasses, wiping down the work area with multiple nasty clothes. The way she was cleaning indicated she was wasn’t experienced at cleaning, wasn’t properly trained, didn’t care or just didn’t have a mental plan on how to do it.

Watching her clean and chose to ignore two people in front of her was enough to make me want to walk out. The nastiness of the place was a second reason. The whole kitchen area was being run like it was a bad movie scene for a John Singleton blockbuster.

Finally, the girl acknowledges the lady in front of me and starts getting her food together. Another guy comes up to the counter and whispers something into the girls ear and he takes over handling the client requests while she just rings up the purchases from that point on.

The guy was ok, but it was hard to understand him. He had energy and was working to get the line down. I appreciated his efforts, even if he seemed a bit forgetful about what items I wanted on my plate.

The fact that they had a heavy duty security guard posted up, in the actual kitchen area, was reassuring but led thought to why he even had to be there. While I was waiting, I took out my phone and started recording. I’m still deciding if I want to take the still photos out of the video and post them OR just post the video.

Both the owner and/or management need to get a handle on this place. It is a cartoon version of stereotypes and the negative reviews are on point. However, I’m giving the place five stars - so this review doesn’t go the bottom of the ratings stack.

I want people to read it and acknowledge the issue and work on fixing it. There is no reason this place has to run in this manner and demonstrate poor practices. This is fixable and the owner and managers are at fault. The crew is the byproduct of poor training or just a reflection of a more serious issue reflecting the realities of society. There is no evidence that anyone cares what the customer sees or experiences.

The food is always good but needs bigger portions. The atmosphere was pretty bad, definitely needed to be clean.

I love to eat at this restaurant. Customer service is awesome. When walking in the Atmosphere is great, you would want to sit in eat. The food is mouth watering, I always dance before eating. Lol.. Writing this I'm about to pick up a bowl now. Dancing my way there.

Food was plentiful and fresh. On a busy day (23Dec23), I thought the shoppers rush would have cleared them out, or a short staff would be working. They Maxxed it out the park on my visit, very well done 👏🏽

Super friendly super fast I am so glad they have one in Southaven now. Even tho I don't live there when I do decide to go I know it's there. Everyone was in a wonderful mood for us out there. I appreciate good service and good food.

Due to short staffing, this location was only accepting orders online or through the app. After an incredibly reasonable wait, I received my order. I was expecting a mediocre delivery on the goods due to the circumstances, but oh my sweet summer child I was mistaken. My bowl was packed full to the brim, and everything was warm. The guacamole was vibrant green and fresh. Would recommend this experience to anyone

The food is always good. Restaurant could be cleaner. There is food on tables, seats, and floors at times.
The employees are fairly friendly. The music is sometimes too loud.

The general manager/supervisor, Raytina (i've probably mispelled her name), was so kind. She really cares about the store and all those who come to it. She displayed a sense of humanity that I have not witnessed in a long time; she was incredibly gracious and empathetic. I will be sure to revisit this location! Excellent customer service and great food!!

This place is a pretty solid place all the way around when it first opened it was a little rough around the edges but those moments seem to be buffed out. Great experience last two times that I’ve been in there it seems that the management has really been able to engage their staff and motivate them in in the most professional ways. As always I would strong is it just the steak bowl as it is one of my favorites.

The food was tasty, yummy, scrumptious and enjoyable. I built my own burrito. The burrito was pretty big in size. I said I would eat half now and the other half later. I couldn't eat the one half, I ate all of that burrito and stuff myself because it was so delicious. Chipotle is cooking and mixing up the right ingredients for a five star post today. It was good.

I had a good dinner at the Southaven Chipolte. The bowls are my favorite - white rice, grilled chicken, tomato salsa, corn salsa, red sauce, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Delicious! The restaurant was clean and the employees friendly and helpful. The dining room was a great place place to eat my meal and I felt welcome and safe eating there.

Had a bad experience at first due to one of the employees being rushed and ended up being short with me. Asked for the mgr. and she personally made my food and and made me laugh at the end. Her staff could take a lesson from her. She is what got this place five stars. I know it’s not easy taking time out of your shift as mgr. but she did and with a smile. Thank you!!!

Most of the reviews of people who don't understand how much stress teenage employees have during the first weeks of opening a new restaurant that is very popular. The food has been good and I arrive when it says my food will be done and it has been ready each time.

By far I have been to almost all the Chipotle in Memphis and they are horrible but today I stopped at this location and the atmosphere was smooth, clean and friendly. The place and service was excellent! The employees was nice and respectful. This was number customer service! My food was great and i will return!

Dont use side door. By drive thru it don't open it's only an exit . Forgot how much I missed chipotle. Eat It regularly in Ohio! And have had in 5 yrs.... Diggity Diggity!!! Barbacoa bowl is fav..

You don't even have to ask or look here just go and eat. Whew better than Moe's
