I can’t sing their praises enough! Their staff takes your concerns seriously, genuinely cares about your pets and do their best to work within your budget. Doctor Phillips took care of my old man cat Cecil and helped us understand what is happening with him, took her time with us and was genuinely just so great. We will be taking all of our pets here.

Best vets in town. Extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional! Scheduling appointments is very convenient, whether I need to bring one of my babies in within a few days or next month. I highly recommend them and will take my cats no other place!!

Have had many vets over the long years. Been in Gainesville, again, for 5 years. Been using Newberry Animal Hospital (Main Street) since moving here. BEST vet we have ever had. Extremely professional and compassionate and wonderful doctors and staff. I would always highly recommend this group of animal care. Simply the best.... and very reasonable.

These people have been great! I brought my Kitten this week, apparently he ate something bad and was between life and death. I had to leave him hospitalized for three days. Newberry Amimal Hospital did everything they could and we have our kitten back in our home. Thanks to the doctors who helped us and to Jules for translating everything for us from English to Spanish.

5 STARS! Everything this clinic did from start to finish has been amazing. My chihuahua had a tough surgery and they made it as pleasant as possible for he and I. I believe we were both treated with kindness and respect.

I switched to Newberry originally because of the holistic subgroup. I needed competent vets. And it's nice for the vet's office to have courteous and helpful support staff as well. Five of my cats see Dr. Philips and one sees Dr. Spinoza. I highly recommend the practice because the vets are not only competent, but also very caring. The support staff is supportive, helpful, and courteous, which is very important to me after having been treated unfairly and unkindly at another vet's practice by their support staff. So I highly recommend Newberry Animal Hospital and also their Holistic side.

Yesterday I took my new puppy for a first time check up. The Staff and Doctor was so kind and helpful in explaining everything to me. They took the time and their professionalism and kindness was so appreciated. Thank you and I’d give them all a 10+ if I had to rate the Hospital.

Wonderful experience. The technician and doctor were both so kind and welcoming. They listened to my concerns and explained treatment options. They were very gentle and talked my kitty through everything they were doing to make her comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with the 39th avenue facility for new puppy care with the puppy package and just completed all of the puppy vaccinations and visits. Dr. Phillips is so pleasant, knowledgeable, is very kind and has a phenomenal report with nervous puppy and parents. Jon and Mary were great and so caring and helpful in answering any questions and concerns. Jon demonstrated excellent care and ability to respond and answer questions readily. He even put the rabies tag on our puppy’s collar. Thank you Newberry Animal Hospital for the excellent care.

One of my cats has a history of fic and some urinary issues. On Friday, he didn't want to eat and was clearly in pain so I called the 39th location (after a referral from a friend). They made sure they got him an appointment for the next day, which ended up probably being life saving because this time he had a blockage. Everyone was super nice, and made sure to set realistic expectations with me. They got him unblocked and sent him home with me to monitor him. By Sunday morning he was eating again and acting like himself. And the appointment and treatment was significantly cheaper than the previous vet I took him to that didn't even do any procedures. Will definitely be going back with all of my cats who are due for vaccines and wellness visits. This weekend was scary and stressful, but I'm just really glad Timber is back to acting like himself.

We are new to the community and this Vet came highly recommended by work colleagues. I was very impressed with the kindness and patience they gave to my very nervous dog. I will be taking the rest of my pets there as well.

Absolutely amazing staff and vets. Great pricing as well. I have been to another vet in Gainesville and the prices were much more expensive and their service was lacking/left a lot to be desired. I didn’t find that at Newberry and that’s a good thing! Seriously an amazing vet and I’m glad we found them! Jordana and Dr. White are amazing! The receptionists are also so friendly!

We love Newberry Animal Hospital on 39th St. The staff is so friendly and professional. We recently saw Dr. Fletcher and Kaitlyn and they were so good with our “old man” ❤ I highly recommend them if you’re looking for the best care for your fur baby!

I see Dr. McCormick for all my pets. She is an excellent listener, she is thorough in her assessment skills, she explains everything in detail, she follows up on your pets care, and her staff is friendly, always goes above and beyond, they are professional and pleasant, and I am so lucky to have them taking care of my pets. I highly recommend Dr. McCormick at Newberry Animal Hospital.

Out of seven vets, this was the only one I was able get a regular appointment with verses a more expensive walk-in appointment for my sick little dog even though I'd explained at all the vets I'd contacted that I'd lost my job just before Christmas as a result of new management so my budget was very tight. Not sure what to expect; both myself and my dog were treated with compassion, seen timely, and my dog received the most thorough exam ever. They even found a heart murmur that four previous vets were not able to locate. They were able to make suggestions in assisting with her health as she is aging and recommended a food they thought was more appropriate and less expensive than the current prescription food she was on. It was great to be heard as well as informed and I genuinely thought they had my little dog's best interest at heart. Thanks so much for a wonderful job.

They were amazing and got me in on short notice. And fixed my dog right up. They were extremely kind as well and answered all my questions. I love that they do 'courtesy visits' where the dog can come in and get comfy with the vet.

I had a great experience for my first visit! I had decided I wanted to change vets, and then my dog had a mini emergency. Because Newberry Animal Hospital has several locations, I was able to get an appointment at my earliest available time.
Each person I interacted with was warm, professional, and kind. I only waited a few minutes in the waiting room and then just a few more minutes in the exam room before being seen. One issue I had with my previous vet was very long wait times every time I went. I also like that they have 2 different seating areas in the waiting room of that location.
Dr. Lebo clearly explained my options for treating various issues with my 14 year old dog and was patient with my questions. I wish I could remember the name of the vet technician so I could also give her a compliment, she was wonderful with my old guy.
I also felt that the pricing was much more reasonable than my previous vet.
Very happy that I finally tried Newberry after 3 different friends recommended them!

Brought our little Peanut by for a check up and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. Dr Shaw took the time to make sure she was comfortable and explained all of our options, and Jon was super sweet to both our pups. Of all the Johns they currently employ, he is most definitely our favorite. We will be back in a couple weeks and look forward to it.
