My sons & I have bought 3 guns so far. I highly recommend this business. The place is super clean & everyone is so friendly. Ramone & Courtney were amazing plus very knowledgeable!!! I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. You won't be disappointed!

Best customer service around. Courtney and Ramon always make sure we are finding what we are looking for, and always hooking little man up with all the goods and candy. This is my son’s favorite place to shop now! You won’t be disappointed in their selection!

They have a wide selection of things to choose from. And plenty of everything, too. Ramone helped me out with getting a couple of Nintendo Switch games I needed to add to my collection.

Courtney, and Ramone are absolutely amazing. Walked in needing a .22 for some critters that need exterminated at the farm, and immediately made way to the armory. Ramone answered my few questions I had, and was very patient. Jacob (I think his name is) was very helpful while the Background check was being performed. Got me the ammunition I needed, and even showed me the “sale” price. Courtney was the nicest soul, aside from Ramone and Jacob, that I’ve met at any pawn shop. Definitely going back there for my firearm needs.

I went looking for a hand gun and spoke with Michael. He was super friendly, warm and incredibly knowledgeable!! He was able to answer my questions and when he wasn't sure about something looked it up so he was giving me the correct information, this is incredibly important in my opinion when it comes to fire arms!! Thank you Mike for all your assistance and for being friendly and patient with me!
I will 100% come back when I am ready to puchase my gun but only on Thursday when Mike is working!!

I just want to sincerely thank Courtney for helping us find rings that actually fit our fingers without having to send them off and being able to walk out the store same day with them. The compassion we were given was AMAZING! She was so knowledgeable, kind and just an overall great spirit to have come in contact with. With us having limited time to find something it worked out perfect. I will for sure be back and I always will continue to tell people how great she is. Thank you again Courtney for being so great. Just to add her and her fiancé Ra'Mone's vibe together was totally welcoming. We had nothing but laughs and smiles the whole time we were there.

I can't stand using pawn shops for my own "inflation reduction act"! That being said, the folks here are super friendly, and know their stuff. They are very reasonable and do the best they can with what you brought em. Scott is a heckova dude, nice change of pace from other shops who's staff seem to have a tough time talking about and working with you from up on top of their high horse! Strongly recommend.

Having never been to a pawn shop before, I was a little skeptical on the experience. I went in and my skepticism was immediately alleviated. The overall vibe of American Gold Mine is a place of safety. Scott was very informative and took and opportunity to educate my girlfriend and me, and the price we received was more than fair. We will definitely be returning here

I made the right decision by coming here first! All the 5 star reviews on this place are right, and my experience was so good here I felt compelled to write this review. Both staff members I worked with in selling a gun here today were very polite and professional. We discussed what a fair value would be and were able to agree on the right price. He was very honest and open about why the price should be what it was and took into consideration the value of all the ammo and accessories along with it. I really appreciated how he considered the amount I was looking to sell for and they respected me all the way through the process. I definitely recommend coming here first and I would do business here again for sure.

Great staff! Fast friendly and knowledgeable people. Lots and lots of inventory always worth a visit. This is the best pawnshop on north oak!!!
