Taco Rico

What a little gem! This is now one of my families favorite go to restaurants. They have the best street tacos. My son and I had the carne asada and carnitas street tacos. Son also ordered loaded nachos. It was all delicious. If you are dining in, you place your order when you first come in, they give you a number, you choose your table, then they bring out your tray of food. Hot and fresh. The carne asada is juicy and flavorful, with ripe fresh limes, cilantro and onions. The carne asada loaded nachos are plentiful and tasty. Their green sauce is so AWESOME... fresh, tangy and lots of flavor. I could actually just drink it. Price is reasonable and can order the tacos individually or on a plate. Taco Rico does not disappoint!

Great service and the tacos were really good, fairly priced too will definitely be coming back. Big plus for the imported south American chips and drinks too!

It was my first time trying this place and I ordered the quesobirra and horchata! Everything was very good! I will definitely be back to try more things on their menu! I’m glad to find new places to try!

I tried this place for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. The place was transformed from an old BK and remodeled nicely. They have many many options from authentic Mexican to traditional burger options. While I perused the menu people in line commented that everything on the menu was really good. I got the Street Tacos on recommendation from someone and they held up to the hype. I got the chicken and chorizo tacos. They were very flavorful and full (some places half fill the shell). My to go plate was well prepared and the presentation was good as well. My tacos stayed warm for the trip home. For my appetizer I got the chips and salsa, very good. The chips with a hint of salt, were not too thick to bite through and not so thin they would not hold the salsa. Staff was extremely nice, patient and helpful as I made my way through the 50 or so combinations. Prices were very reasonable. I will be back to explore other options on their menu.

Large menu with a great variety. The burritos are huge! The pastor was pretty good. The service was good as well. The burrito Rico had really good flavor and high quality ingredients. The horchata is excellent! The corn in a cup was tasty too but the chili powder on top is pretty spicy and caught me off guard. We will definitely go back and try more items.

This is THE place for great authentic Mexican food, hands down!

They've got all the classic dishes I grew up eating at the abuelas' houses in the neighborhood when I was a kid, plus all the Americanized favs, just not as greasy and salty as the majority of Mexican restaurant chains in the city.

Super unassuming location but that's part of the charm...feels like one of KC's well-kept secrets!

Super friendly staff and the guy behind the register will remember you if you're a repeat customer.

This is the place I'll take out-of-town friends when they ask for the best Mexican food.

Pro tip: Get the lengua street tacos!

We have the Tacos, the street Tacos and Quesabirrias. We were blown away by the flavor of this food, especially the Street tacos. We will definitely be back soon. Ice cream was good too.

Best Mexican food around. Everything we've tried (half the menu) has been so good. Their ice cream is delicious. The service is friendly and food comes out FAST. There is always a line and for good reason.

I stopped on a whim, loving local owned business and being super hungry 30 min from home. I felt at home instantly. Employees are super friendly. Food was SO GOOD! I got the nachos and am already craving them again 2 days later.

A must stop place to eat, the food is amazing, the owner always waits on me and I so believe it's family run, and they are always on top of things... very clean restaurant. I really hope it stays that way. I'm definitely a customer every week for as long as they are open.

Birria birria birria! I don't need to go anywhere else for quesobirria tacos! This is the SPOT. And it's in the northland??? Score! I made the mistake of ordering regular birria tacos and the man there (seems like the manager to me) was nice and made me another order of tacos with no hesitation. The tortillas are some of the best I've had. The meat is always finely shredded and not chunked. The order comes with 3, but i usu order 4. And the agua frescas are amazing!! Creamy, but not too rich on the stomach. GET A LARGE. the Pina colada is my favorite!

I got some street tacos and they were authentic and delicious. Great price for what you get. I didn't try the dessert menu, but it looks like they had a lot of great treats. Would definitely recommend. It's located in an old burger king, but they've done just about as good a job sprucing the place up as you could hope to.

It was such a great experience the guy taking my order was the nicest man I've met in a while! They had some sauce with my meal it was so delicious I practically drank it. The desert was amazing! You can see wings in the window I for sure went and took pictures with them haha only bottled drinks here but you can have water for free 9/10 I'd recommend it!

Love this place and the owners, Can't say enough good things about them. The food is freshly prepared, the portions are spot on and it always tastes great!! I in particular love the Albondigas soup and Gansito Ice Cream. This is our favorite spot to come after bowling league is over. You will certainly find a favorite if you pay them a visit.

These people are always extremely kind, helpful and nail the food every single time. I've taken my girlfriend there and multiple friends who have all loved it as well. Super fast, super simple and you can even call orders in for pick up!

Love this place. Very kind staff. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Great menu selection. Fresh fruit. Delicious ice creams and paletas. The also have a great variety of ice cream and aguas frescas. Don't forget to try the specials. They explain and let you try free samples of what the have. Can't wait to go again. Se abla Español. Todo aqui esta bein rico y fresco. Me Encanto todo.

Currently open 4pm-10pm. Street tacos come in three and you can order an assortment for the three. The steak and chicken ones we tried were great. Place has homemade ice cream we are going to try next time we come. Food comes out quick.

I had the shredded chicken tostadas (#9) very fresh, I requested sour cream and spicier sauce served with a little tiny soup. It was delicious, attentive customer service, great price. I will be back skip Taco Bell, you deserve the good stuff and so does your body!
