Épernay Bistro | Los Gatos

Fantastic service, beautiful, intimate space and every detail attended to perfectly. We loved the baked oyster special and the caviar toast. Beef bourguignon was of course a stand out. Such a memorable meal.

I had my birthday dinner with my friends. We ordered baked oysters, cheese plates, smoked salmon tartare, bouillabaisse, and salad. They are all delicious!
The lady who served us was super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

I've been to Epernay a few times now and I have to say... It's LG's best kept secret. Everything is great, all the time. And the service... It's like the old days when servers actually know about the menu and the wines and are friendly. Imagine that. Highly recommended!!

The Epernay French bistro a wonderful little restaurant situated in downtown Los Gatos. Very good ambience great service . For my entry I order bouillabaisse a wonderful, very tasty fish soup.
My wife ordered the Patrol sole fish. Also very flavorful.
With that we had a beats salad .

I had lunch and dinner here. The French onion soup is amazing and the house butter with bread is delicious. The duck confit is very flavorful. The owner is kind and took time to chat with us. I'll definitely be back.

Food was excellent 👌🏼. Service was slow but it was Valentine's Day but they apologized profusely I think a comped drink or something would have been nice. The atmosphere is just like true neighborhood French bistro.

We enjoyed a very good meal at Epernay on Christmas Eve. First, the staff was great, in spite of how busy they were! We started with the cheese board, beef tartar and olives. All were very good but the cheese board was a real standout. Among our entrees the beef bourguignon was the BEST!

Good food, professional service, very nice atmosphere for a surprisingly good value.

Added bonus, Los Gatos is a nice little town to stroll before or after enjoying Epernay.

We went here on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday. The service was fantastic, we got a lovely table right in the window for two. Delicious food, and a fantastic dessert menu.

Egg Benedict with smoked salmon was great. The waitress was also nice and friendly. The music playlist was also lovely.

Fabulous dinner in this quaint and impressive restaurant. We were a party of 4 and ordered different dishes and loved them all. We started with a “sea-cuterie” plate with delights like white sardines, caviar, salmon and more. Wine list very good with several by the glass choices. Staff were very considerate about timing dishes as they came out while being friendly and genuine. Will definitely be back!

I love this place. The food is excellent and everyone who works there are great people. The Caviar Toast is a must try.

Wonderful service and great food. I forgot our server's name, but he was working on the evening of 11/9/23. He was absolutely amazing! The manager was very helpful and kind too. They were both great with wine recommendations and food recs. Food was delicious. We ordered quite a bit. The escargot, truffle fries, baked oysters, mussels, salade de laitue, filet mignon and the coq au vin (special). ALL of it was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent food and service every time I've been. Food is fairly authentic, and done exceptionally well. Good selection of wines and champagnes, and a few well-chosen beers.

The Beef Bourguignon is just amazing.

Lovely chill spot for a brunch. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter was pretty good.

I've had a number of great experiences here. Los Gatos has a handful of great options, yet I keep making my way back here as well as their sister restaurant Sidecar. Their wine and champagne selection is pretty extensive and their wait staff know their stuff. Haven't had a bad pairing yet. Definitely check these guys out on your next date night. Then go grab drinks next door at Sidecar. I think you'll be pleased.

The food is amazing! The potato soup, which was the soup of the day, was like a warm hug in a tiny tureen!
The pea risotto it out of this world and the sole is pretty good too!

We were very impressed with the service and food at Éperney. Everything from the quality of the ingredients and presentation the the final taste of each plate. They specialize in French cousine which matches well their great selection of champagne and wine.
Service was friendly and they had no issues accommodating some dietary restrictions on our group.
Overall a great experience, I am looking forward to visiting again soon.
