Rising Leaders Academy

We have two children that attend this charter school in Bay County, and we moved them from larger schools in the area to come here. This school has been amazing in not only the academics, but really in the environment and culture. The students are kind and diverse, and the school offers programs that we couldn't find anywhere else in the local schools. Our girls have the opportunity to take multiple foreign languages, musical theater (even in elementary school), martial arts, computer programming, STEM, piano & music, and that's just for some of the offered electives, during the school-day. It is smaller than some of the larger area schools, but for our family that has been a positive as it provides a warm, community-feel. The school cares about families and has a good focus on safety for the students and campus. While it is still growing, for our family that's okay with us. The school is graded as an "A" school, and it makes a difference when the kids are excited to go to class and learn because its interesting and a good environment.

The fact that Bay Co has access to such a quality and diverse school (tuition free!) is invaluable to the area. The school is A rated as well and offers much more than the basic curriculum - multiple languages, yoga, entrepreneurship. Bay Co is not known for the greatest schools and we are extremely lucky to have RLA here.

This school has so much to offer. I love their VR immersive classes, with the immersion and the interactive Virtual classes. The swimming classes are so wonderful my child has learned how to swim and he is only One year old! Thanks to their advanced prep, classes my 13th grader is already learning his ABC's! I love this school and I believe I made the right choice when I put my children into this space training academy!
