Great local food and wonderful service. I recommend the pork tamales with green sauce and rolled tacos. Throw in a bottled Coke and some homemade chips and salsa and you’ve got yourself a good meal. The service was amazing and friendly too.

Exceptional food and very friendly staff! (they stayed open past their posted hours which was very nice). Family-owned restaurant and everything tasted great! Would definitely recommend next time you’re in Taos!

I was very excited for the opportunity to have breakfast chilaquiles while in New Mexico. Savor Real is a legit small business run by an older Hispanic couple. My son had the breakfast burrito smothered with green chili sauce, and I had the chilaquiles with chorizo and fried eggs. It was amazing, and I would definitely return.

Our AirBnB in Taos was near Sabor Real, and during our 5-day stay in Dec 2023/Jan 2024, we got takeout twice & dined in once. Everything was delicious, but we especially liked the huevos rancheros, tacos al pastor, and housemade chips with salsa and guacamole.

Wonderful food. I had a chili relleno and a beef chimichanga smothered in green chili. Loved both and the green chili had just the right amount of heat!

We came for breakfast but forgot to take photos of our plates. 🙄 Husband ordered the ham and cheese omelette with wheat toast and I ordered two eggs over easy with ham and flour tortillas. Both plates also included a small side of hash browns and refried beans, and we enjoyed everything. The service was very friendly and efficient. The desserts looked delicious! 😋 Next time we will try lunch or dinner and dessert. 😊

One of the best but often difficult parts of traveling is choosing where to eat. Sabor Real did not disappoint. The aguas frescas were delicious and not watered down. The chiles rellenos verdes we’re some of the best I’ve ever tasted. My kids enjoyed their pork and chicken tamales, and my husband’s fajitas were delicious. We shared a piece of pastel de tres leches for dessert, and it was wonderful also. The service was friendly, and if we were staying in town longer, we would come back.

Food was delicious, the chips came out fresh fried and warm. We had a variety of foods and everything was tasty. Restaurant is small on the inside and was crowded, took about an hour for 4 of us to order and eat.

Very very tasty! We tried several popular restaurants in Taos and it seemed like ingredients here were better quality than most. Especially the green and red chile and the corn tortillas. Peaked into the kitchen and saw the tortillas being made from scratch. Less popular than other places. Seems like it hasn’t been recognized yet.

Breakfast burrito is stunningly good, and they came out with the burritos mere minutes after ordering. Make sure you don’t leave without trying the homemade freshly squeezed lemonade.

Great addition to Taos with delicious, affordable New Mexican food, and with very friendly staff. We had tamales, Chile Rellenos, chopped steak with green chile, Frito Pie, and a cheeseburger - all were fresh, and full of flavor. Nothing was too spicy - for that, try their red and green homemade hot sauces, served on the table with your meal. So good we went home with big takeaway cups of both of them! Looking forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu.

The sever was polite and described the dishes very diligently . We all had a different type of Torta. They have a verity of Mexican beers and sodas.
