Dr. Presley is the best she works diligently to find out what is wrong with you and she won't stop till she finds out what it is she is the best endocrinologist I've ever had her staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable in their field of work I can't say enough good things about them

Felt rushed

I' had the WORST experience with Dr. Presley, white, short woman with brown hair. And she wear glasses. I was referred to her and scheduled to see her Sept. 5th a week ago. I had blood work done on this past Monday the 12th and my doctor made an emergency referral because I have hyperactive thyroidism and it's out of control. My doctor reached out to Dr. Presley to see me because my lab results came back and she said it was an emergency that I be seen. My appointment was moved to today, August 14th. I had someone else come to the doctor with me, they were a witness to the outright disrespect and unprofessionalism that she displayed. I have severe anxiety and she only made it worse. I had heard of her prejudice but disregarded it to maybe a bad experience with other people. But Dr. Presley lives up to every bad thing I heard about her. She asked for medical history with attitude and tried to assume I was lying, even though she had my test results in front of her. She demanded that I look at her when she was talking, standing right in front of me, motioning her arms back and forth at me demanding that I give her eye contact. I have anxiety or white coat syndrome, where I have had unpleasant experiences with the medical field. The nurse assistant Delaney had explained to me to be open and speak with Dr. Presley and explain that I don't want to do different meds other than my thyroid medicine. I didnt include the nurse assistant name at first because I didn't want her to be retaliated against. But Delaney lied on the claim with the better business bureau. I guess she did that to keep her job. This female, because she is far from a woman, continued to demand eye contact. But I was sitting down, and it hurts the back of my eyes to look up. She was utterly rude and disrespectful. I explained to her who did she think she was talking to? I explained to her that I hear with my ears not my eyes. I explained to her that my parents are dead and she doesn't talk to me like that. With her rude and unprofessional attitude she stormed out and left me and my support person in the patient room and never returned, so my support person and i left. She talked to me as if she owned me like I was her personal slave. PLEASE, IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR, DO NOT GO TO DR. PRESLEY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR INSURANCE ON A DR WHO SHOWS YOU NO RESPECT. I was there for business, my health. And she totally disregarded my anxiety and treatment. The nurse, Delaney warned me and my support that she had a real smart mouth, but never imagined being treated the way I was by a so called medical professional. The ladies in the front office were assuring and kind, but Dr. Presley is every patients nightmare. Now I have to wait to see another endocrinologist for my thyroids and treatment. This lady is racist and shows no regard for help or professionalism. Please don't waste your gas going to her. It's not worth it and my anxiety is worse now from this experience. If Dr. Presley doesn't like black people she shouldn't accept the referral. I'm not exaggerating. I have experienced prejudice but never at this level. I will be reporting her to medical board with my witness. Being prejudice is outdated. There is no pure race. She's in the wrong profession. She would'nt listen to my concerns, she wouldn't let me talk. She is obnoxious and purely rude. She doesn't care about helping you. You have been warned stay away from Dr. Presley.
