The short-haired, blue-eyed female service clerk (unfortunately, I did not get her name) at Ruckersville Post Office is highly skilled at what she does. She is also very pleasant to deal with. Whether I bring a simple letter to be mailed locally or I bring a package that needs to be sent internationally, I have never had to wait longer than five minutes.

I have lived in a great many cities and towns and worked with a vast array of USPS locations with my business. Most are pretty standard, some are sub par, and some of them, like this location, have staff who make the experience above and beyond. They know your name and face and are friendly and always doing their best to help everyone, this is honestly my favorite post office of all the places I have lived and worked with for 37+ years. Bless all you beautiful souls thank you for making the mail such a noble and honorable and enjoyable experience. We love and appreciate your service and presence in our community!

Super friendly and helpful staff, always willing to advise on cheapest shipping methods. Sometimes the line gets pretty long and the hours are limited on Saturdays, but usually a great experience.

It would be great if the one guy in there that is always in a bad mood could stop tossing my packages across the room when I drop off. I have half a dozen Fragile Handle with Care stickers on there for a reason.

Employee at the counter was adamant that shipping an “animal exempt specimen” (lab bloodwork sample) required “certified” stickers for the labeling, but could not provide the stickers, nor could advise how I could obtain them, and then when I did the research to make sure the package was properly labeled myself, seemed quite determined not to accept the package for shipping, until after a long conversation with a manager. Made the whole process unnecessarily complicated and time consuming. I will make every effort to use a different post office next time.

I've lived near Ruckersville Post office for 14 yrs. Good workers retired and I've seen 2 rounds of new workers. Today, I got there at 10 minutes b4 5. She didn't know if she could do money orders for 3k. Limit is 1k. Ok, do 3, not rocket science. Did 2 and I offered to let the person behind me buy stamps so I didn't make them wait. Stamps sold and then I'm told that I have to come back tomorrow to complete my transaction bc it's now 5pm. #$%@# Unacceptable

Would give zero stars if I could. Stop lying about package deliveries. Saying that a delivery was attempted but no access to delivery spot. Didn’t even stop at the mailbox on the road. If you did my flag wouldn’t still be up with an envelope that should have been picked up still in there.

If you’re not going to bother delivering it just put status as needs to be picked up at post office. Tired of this. At least when UPS & FedEx are feeling lazy they leave my package at the mailbox by the road.

Every time I order from Amazon I get a notification the carrier attempted delivery. Funny thing is I work nights so I'm home during the day. No knock no nothing. I ALWAYS have to go to the Post office to pick my packages up. Obviously inconvenient considering I work 14-16 hour nightsn Sick of this LAZY carrier! Fire them!!
