I live along Lake Superior - up in Minnesota, so finding a decent surfboard around here is pretty difficult unless you want to sell a kidney to afford a locally-made board. I found a really nice one on the Catalyst website (from the Cocoa Beach location) and had it shipped up here. I gotta say, holy smokes they got a good system, really dialed in. Within a couple of days, I got a notification that the board was in Wisconsin already! The board came packaged really well, lots of foam and plastic wrap around the nose and whole board. If you're at all looking to buy a board online, do it with these guys. They do a great job packaging and extremely fast shipping (though it is expensive).

This is long winded, but I need to give all the guys props for their help in getting my daughter a new board. This should have been written last month. I spoke to several locations over the course of a week to get suggestions.

My daughter's surf instructor, Molli Miller Mead- M&M Surf School, gave me the recommended specs for a board and the team at Catalyst took it from there. Once the guys heard the details, our price range, and the skill level of my daughter, they had suggestions flowing in no time.

We are located in Orlando and bought a skateboard from that location last year, so we naturally started there. I spoke to Zach and Milan separately on the phone, and they both kindly let me know we could come in and they would help us find a board. However, both of them did say that Cocoa Beach and Melbourne Beach had a larger selection. We decided to go to the Cocoa Beach store.

I spoke to Josh and Joey on separate occasions on the phone, they were the most instrumental in helping us make a decision. Once we made it to the store in Cocoa Beach and told Dillion what Josh and Joey had said, he pulled out a few boards for us to look at. My daughter went with the Quiet Flight Anti-Hero and couldn't be happier. Dillion got us set up with an FCS leash and FCS Julian Tread Lite pads, then sent us to Tye to cash out. We are super happy with the customer service, knowledge, and general attitude by all the Catalyst locations.

I have to give Milan a big shout out in Orlando. That dude was full of positive energy on the phone and had me pumped to get into one of the stores to buy a board. I believe it was Milan that also offered to look online with us and help find a board at one of the stores.

Great shop, great inventory. Had an issue with a wetsuit I purchased and they took care of me. Also just snagged a perfect board for my next trip.

While walking around downtown we came across this brightly colored building and got drawn in by their sidewalk sale. After going inside we discovered a nicely arranged store with a ton to choose from. Almost every other rack had clearance items and finding something was very easy - unlike all the gift/souvenir shops this store had well known brands, unique items and a little bit of everything. I ended up purchasing 6 shirts and a pair of swim trunks for less than $70 - cheaper than almost all of my other purchases while on vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - I would highly recommend making the stop here while in or near Cocoa Beach - you'll be glad you did!

Josh and everyone else at the shop helped me find the best surfboard options. They helped me with prices and quality. It is the best surf shop I have ever seen. not only for me but also for my wife who found the best clothes at a good price. I recommend this store 100 percent. Thank you everyone

Catalyst is the number one spot for surf gear, boards and clothes anywhere in the Cocoa Beach area or beyond. My ten year old loves surfing and this is his (our) favourite shop, also awesome custom Catalyst and Quiet Flight tshirts. This crew has you covered!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Ordered a board online at 9am and they had it shipped out in a couple hours and it arrived to my place in perfect condition the next afternoon. Great service and sweet board!

Joey was great in helping me find a sweet board that would better fit my size and syle. Rather than buying a board from other brand name shops in the area, why not buy from the real locals that better understand the conditions around them and what really works. I feel the story that goes along with the board is the difference. Thank you Joey man for hooking me up and getting me setup! Now I can surf!

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. This place has really cool T-shirts, the surfboards we rented were in excellent condition. And one of their employees even came and met us to pick up the surfboards when we got locked out of our car. Seriously don’t waste your time with places like Ron John these are local guys who know what they’re doing. They were also able to point us towards a really good surf spot. Will absolutely be back

This is the best local place in Cocoa Beach! Josh and Joey are the nicest guys and the other shop attendent Riley is a great comfort. Josh even drove out to pick up our boards when we locked ourselves out of our van! Not to mention their merch is fantastic with great sale prices.

Used board section is ELITE! New Quiet flight and lost, best boards a shop could carry imo. Great prices for clothes, great staff, hands down best surf shop in Brevard, maybe even on the whole east coast.

These guys are a pleasure to deal with! I had a really good customer experience, and it's clear that their passion is getting people setup with gear that will work well for them, instead of just caring about the quick buck. I prefer a specialty shop that cares like this over a big retailer any day. Plus they're full service, so they offer new/used boards, trade-ins, and repairs too! I'm just getting my feet wet still, and these guys gave me great advice to get started.

Josh not only helped me find the board I was looking for to rent for a few days while visiting Cocoa Beach but also gave me recommendations on where to surf. Local owned, locally made Quiet Flight boards, knowledgeable staff who will help you to select a great board and make sure you don't come off like a kook. I had a board to trade-in and they gave me a fair amount for a new board. They walked me through picking out a board that met my realistic skill level. If you're a total noob or a competitor... this shop can get you fitted.

Wow what a awesome place. Couldn't find a bathing suit at Ron John's so we left and found this surf shop. I am so glad we did. We walked in and was greeted by a guy and a women. They where so nice and went above and beyond there job to help me. Bought two bathing suits. Checked out with the guy ( sure wish I would have got his name ) he talked to us and took his time with us. No Hurry and no pressure to buy and anything. I am going to tell all our friends to go here. We support small business.
