Singing Pines Recreation Area

What a great find! Went during the week and had the whole place to ourselves. Well kept facility with swimming and fishing areas. Boat ramps and a fishing pier!

Man, what a cool place to relax, fish, boat, grill, take a swim and more. Its beautiful and perfect. I don't know why its closed in winter though. Its a perfect place for chilly weather.

((Just know there is a $5 entry fee by card only now)) This is a very peaceful lake access. We came here for my daughter's birthday and it wasn't over crowded. The water was clear in some spots and murky in some spots. Fishing spots and boating docks are here too. The only sort of negative thing is there is one bath house.

Be prepared for that. They use a machine to take payment and issue the daily parking permit. Also I noticed that: there were 2 Park Rangers on duty, NO alcohol allowed, there are public restrooms and multiple seating areas with grills to cook on, you may bring your dogs on leashes only and you have to park your vehicle in the designated areas only or the Ranger will come have you move your vehicle (..to allow emergency vehicles to pass if necessary.)

We come here to swim, to go out on the boat and to camp on the islands at least a couple times a year! High recommended, great for a day out, a birthday party and so much more! We love camping here because it is very peaceful if you swim out with your boat to one of the islands! Most have nice like beach areas so it is family friendly! We will keep coming back!

This is a really nice place, they have 2 or 3 beaches, picnic tables, trashcans, and a fishing poer where you can catch big fish. They have a lot of parking and restroom and walking trail. In the winter it's free but in the summer it's $5

Not real large like some of the other nearby state parks..but it makes up for it with lots of covered picnic gazebos and picnic tables. Even has a couple of swimming areas..we really enjoyed it.

I love this place !! I go often to take my family and we have a cook out every time you can take your boat or jet ski and enjoy the day clean place and pets friendly beautiful views !!

Very nice a peaceful place to go relax. Fishing is decent in the area or you can just go sit and relax by the water.

I have attended 3 Birthday parties out there. We always have a good time. We will use this place for other future event. Nice place!

Quiet, beautiful, clean and only $5.00 per day! Family friendly with charcoal grills and cement picnic tables spread out wonderfully giving you a semi private location to gather and be distanced from others. Relax and enjoy the day under the shade of many majestic pines or on a sunny beach spot surrounded by clean water ❤❤❤❤❤

We used to take our kids here when they were small, we always had a great time. We moved away for several years and recently moved back. They're young adults now and we decided to go back to Singing Pines and all the good memories came flooding back! Had a blast! Enjoyed grilling at a picnic table under a little shade from the pines, right next to the sandy beach. Got to swim and lay out in sun. Even has a dock you can walk out on! Great place for fishing also.

A wonderful place to spend the day with family and friends or just a relaxing day to yourself. Swim, lay on the beach, fish or have a cookout. Nice clean areas & bathroom facilities with showers. Off you have kids they'll enjoy the parks playground. If you have a boat & want to spend the day on the lake there's a boat ramp with parking. A great day get away that's very budget friendly!
