Drs. Cripe Stephens & Stickel

My daughter and I recently saw Dr. McGuire and I was thrilled with the care we received. She did great with my daughter who is fairly young, and was very patient in answering any and all questions that I had pertaining to our care. She took her time to carefully and accurately make her assessments and had a great & positive demeanor. 10/10 would recommend!

I experienced one of the most thorough eye exams I’ve ever had. I was very impressed with the imaging technology that showed areas of my eye in great detail. Overall I highly recommended this office, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning again for all of my eye care needs.

I have been going here for over 15 years. If you want a real eye exam this is the place. They take their time to make sure everything is correct. Although the do not accept my insurance I still come here for the exams however go else where for the frames and lens. I made the mistake and took my son else where for an exam and the prescription was beyond incorrect. He was diagnosed as near sighted at another office however he is actually far sighted. Dr. Cripe fixed everything for my 7yo. I am so grateful for the Optometrists here.

Dr. McGuire was very kind and took time to listen to her patient's needs. She took great care of him and helped treat his eye injury. I appreciate the time she took and the care and compassion she showed.

This is the first time I ever felt connected and like I had a family optometrist that cares. Dr. McGuire is wonderful, personable, and patient; my family LOVES her!

Used to go to OSSIP, but will never darken their door step again. Had a great experience here. I can honestly say that after not having a family optometrist to go to for years; my family now does.

Jamie Stickel is very friendly and truly cares. He explains everything thoroughly. I would 100% recommend him!! Also, they are open after 5 on some days which makes it really nice to not have to take off work.

Dr Stevens is extremely knowledgeable, and takes great care of my eyes. I appreciate the extra time he spends going over things and explaining them. Highly recommend him!

Had issues with a lense "spider webbing" in the corner. The glasses were almost a year old and both lenses were replaced at no cost!! What a deal!!! 10 stars plus on service!!!!! 😀

Dr. McGuire is fabulous. And the office staff was a pleasure to work with.

I'm not sure how many stars to give. Dr. Stickel is FANTASTIC and deserves 5 stars. The office staff leaves much to be desired and would probably only get 1 or 2. I'll average the scores and make it a 3.

Edit: The office staff has changed and improved considerably since this post. Four stars at least.

The optometrist is wonderful, but that's about it. It is difficult to get a timely appointment. They rarely have weekend appointments available. My son has glasses that were purchased here. They broke at the arm. They are NIKE glasses, and are supposed to have a 2 year warranty on the frames. The office would not honor the warranty on them past a year. Nike said the office has to process the claim to fix them. So now I'm stuck with paying for the repair.

Office staff makes the whole office! I have given them the benefit of the doubt but after the last two encounters with them getting my husband’s glasses repaired, we have to go somewhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Cripe because he is so thorough and I’m sorry I have to deal with staff who treats you like an inconvenience in order to see him.
