Owl's Head

Loved the vibe here. We arrived to ski on New Year's day. We were not able to get breakfast at our hotel because they were not serving due to it being New Year's day. We were so happy that the lodge was serving breakfast. The man that took our orders and made our eggs was so friendly and nice. The eggs were perfect too. We had a great time skiing. We also enjoyed the women walking around playing the fiddle in the lodge. It was a great experience.

Beautiful mountain. The staff was very friendly and you get a magnificent view of Jay Peak on top!

Owls head may not have as many trails as the other hills in the Eastern townships, but they are longer! And with the large number of chairlifts open, the wait times were minimal :)

We had excellent conditions despite the unusually warm weather this year, and I can't wait to come back!

Great resort with knowledgeable courteous staff. Fairly compact mountain but breathtaking views at the top with many enjoyable and some quite challenging runs. Very good quality and pricing in the cafeteria with many options. Will definitely return.

During the autumn colour change, we hiked the mountain and were impressed by the breathtaking views. Also, there was the option to purchase tickets to ride up the chairlift to the summit (and down, optional). There was live music and concessions and activities foe kids like face painting and pumpkin decorating. It was a great way to spend a fall weekend outdoors enjoying the fresh air and beauty of the region!

A lot of atmosphere, nice view, nice crowd, nice service , very good quality price ratio for a ski center & nicely decorated.

During spring, summer and fall Really nice hiking trait, lots of free parking not like Orford that charges for parking during the changing of the colour of the leaves. Clean washrooms. Dog friendly trails.

Great mountain for skiing. My family had an awesome time and the views were spectacular. The lodge is very family friendly. The rentals were the best we ever had. I can't say enough good things about Owl's Head!

We really enjoyed our ski weekend! Friendly, helpful staff making sure lift seats were full, hill was groomed, and lifts were running well. My only caution is spending too much time gazing at the gorgeous view while skiing that you forget to be aware of your foot placement!!!

Stunning view from the top, lake Memphremagog stretching into the horizon. Skiing down some slopes on the east side, it looks like you'll end up in the water. Great family friendly ski resort. Lifts are brand new, a card that's rechargeable online in your pocket opens the gates. Surprisingly not crowded at all for such a mild Sunday in February.

Owl's Head was positively fantastic. In particular the advanced pass sales, and ease of picking up the pass. I went twice last week, and even on the weekend the lift lines were reasonable and moved quickly. The high speed lifts meant that many runs could be packed in a short time. The restaurant bar was top notch and the staff were all fantastic!

We went there in September, the hiking was pretty exhausting. But Its because we took all our camping 🏕 stuff to stay the night...
So after the long hiking we finally reached the top. And there is the award! The view is just amazing! You can see the United States from here, and a big beautiful lake.
We could find a great place to sleep. Protected from the cold wind, with a fire pit. We were seven friends.
You need to go there early because lot of people had the same idea, but luckily we arrived first!
I really recommend it!

One of the nicer boutique hills in the area. The views are better than they tell you... the resort had skiing for everyone.... good beginner runs for the kids, and fun double diamonds and alpine trails for those comfortable with something harder

Back again in 2022, and still love this hill. Not too busy and lots of fun options

We have been to this place a few days before Christmas 2019. Of all ski hills (mountains) we have ever been at, Owl's Head has the most impressive views. The skiing itself was much fun, while the restaurant food was excellent (just try their pizzas!..) We'd recommend this ski resort to all experienced (maybe, also the intermediate) skiers. The resort is not crowded but (rather "and") very worth visiting. We'd compare it with a hidden gemstone in the Appalachians.

The ski was nice, the view was beautiful.

This mountain offers beautiful views off of a great windy intermediate level trail. Also offers a couple nice steeps down the middle. Every time I visit this place I'm enchanted with it's down to earth friendly atmosphere and timeless facilities. If you snag one of their many deals on a tickets it's even better!

Such a beautiful mountain.
Good quality/price with ski passe partout or l'est go card.
Absolutely recommend skiing or snowboarding here. Amazing view to see while going down the slopes.
The drive is about 1.5hours away of Montreal, and the drive itself is so beautiful because you are surrounded by great landscapes.
Can't say enough good things about Owl's Head.

We missed the trail head. It was indicated everywhere that it was starting from the parking, but the arrows leaded us in the wrong direction. We managed to find the panorama trail going back. When you are on the trail the indication are quite good. We managed to go down but be aware they have closed part of the bottom section for construction. All in all I would go back this fall. Didn't manage to reach the peak... Next time. Not child friendly, other than if you stay on the ski path. Follow them blue MN square.

Great place to ski about 1.5 hours from Montreal. Lift system works really well with three high speed lifts, runs are fun and long and the views are incredible!

Chalet seems like it was recently renovated and the poutine was one of the best I've had skiing! Will definitely be back!

Took about an hour to reach the summit. Could take another trail to reach the other side.
