Mr K's Used Books, Music and More

Mr. K's is a miniature library...BTW I happen to love libraries. 2 levels of literary gold, I was at home. So reasonable prices on used or brandy new books, I love the smell of books, but I am rather weird...

We love coming here for the movies and older books. The newer releases aren't that much cheaper, but there are some great finds if you're willing to dig around. I found a $75 book that's now out of print for $5!

I've been going to Mr. K's since I was in college. I love the cash or trade-in options and their prices are reasonable. They used to be lower, but everything else used to be lower too. You can still get good deals. I highly recommend it for avid readers who need to trade in books they have read to make room for new ones they plan to read. I've probably traded in over 1,000 books here over the years.

Always new inventory and at very good prices. I always shop here for video games and posters. The books are plentiful also with assortments of comic books, cook books ECT. Give it a try and I'm sure you'll get hooked like my wife and I.

Found way more than the 2 books I was looking for. Extremely easy to get lost for hours in this store. Forewarning, the elevator is extremely - excruciatingly slow, but it will get there eventually.

Mr. K’s is a family favorite. I love to find books about art - drawing and painting references are my favorite. My kids love to find new books, and the prices are unbeatable. We ALWAYS find something when we go, without exception. This is a Johnson City must-do for book fans.

It has been a few years since I have been to Mr. K's. The prices seemed to be much high than the last time I was in. They still have a great selection of used and new books. Super clean and very organized.

A wonderful store for book and media collectors. Their trade-in program is great for finding a new home for your favorite media so others may enjoy them. This place has everything, a must stop if you are ever in the area.

This place continues to surprise me. Keep finding books everytime I visit. Staff is friendly, and the place is well maintained

One of the rarest book stores I have ever been in. A lot of choices and a lot of movies and classic games and other media to pick and choose.

If you're looking for a good book, movie, CD, DVD, record, comic book, and video games/systems you'll probably find it here. Been coming to Mr K's since before they moved it up on the hill from where it used to be, into a nice new building. Always had good luck with any books my mother, children, or I have needed over the years. Sometimes new, sometimes used but generally reasonable priced.

This fantastic bookstore provides a relaxing atmosphere combined with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I've been going here for years. Be sure to bring in the books you don't read any longer to turn in for store credit!

Absolutely awesome small business! The selection is enormous and ever changing, trade prices are fair, and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful.

Checked this place out as part of a scavenger hunt I was doing with friends internationally online. We had some items to find that were 90s related that I assumed this store had i.e. Goosebump books. I immediately felt at home walking in. It was peaceful yet busy. Was assisted immediately and offered more assistance when strolling about just taking it all in. This store feels like it comes from a book itself. The variety is endless the separate floors make it feel grand. If you have a reader in your life and they have not been yet bring them here they will feel at home too.

Hands down one of the best bookstores that i've ever been to in a long time. I can get records from my record player. I can get forty five. Plus you can get some great deals on stuff. That originally would cost an arm, foot, and a leg. Which they're selling for practically nothing. If you're looking for books and you can't find it, they will even try to help you find it. This place has everything from anime to statues to toys. If you're looking for movies or video games this place even has it too. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
