I have an old .22 Remington 552 Speedmaster that jammed a few times the last time I shot it. It’s in great shape but it hasn’t had a good breakdown, cleaning and lubing in YEARS. After googling “how to disassemble a Remington 552 to clean…” I decided to let a professional do the work since it seemed a little daunting and overwhelming to me (way too many small parts!) I contacted Cedar Hill Armory in Georgetown and they said they could do the work and to drop it off the next day. I dropped it off on Friday and by Saturday mid afternoon all the work was done. They sent me pictures of the gun broken down so I could actually see how dirty it was. These guys are so awesome. Very professional, super nice owners and their prices can’t be beat (I called a couple other gunsmiths in the Georgetown area and their estimated prices were much higher than Cedar Hill Armory plus Cedar Hill Armory’s turn around was a lot faster too! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
