First and foremost, they cook with skill, care, and most importantly Flavor!
The country fried steak skillet will overwhelm you with a deliciousness-flavor-bomb- overload! Yes!!!! Crispy parmesan potatoes under homemade sausage gravy, tender country fried steak, topped with made to order (over easy) eggs that are cooked to perfection. You have a choice, choose wisely, THE BISCUIT! You will not regret these flakey beautiful biscuits. Side note: They cook your eggs any way you like, what impressed me is the eggs are so perfectly cooked to order. The sexy food photos are showing the perfect over easy, and over hard, both as ordered, a rarity in most places! We so so appreciate the attention to details, flavors, and freshness. Today's breakfast was literally sublime. Aside from the amazing tasting food, let's talk about the amazing people. We are always greeted with sincere smiles and true warmth, from wonderful people serving some of the best food in Georgia.
We were informed today that they are now open until 8pm on Thursday and Friday so we can't wait for dinner!

My wife and I stumbled across this gem. Staff is EXCELLENT! Food is absolutely fantastic! So far, this is the only place that I have found that can cook and egg "over medium" perfectly. That alone, keeps me coming back.....and everything else.

This was our first time here, and was very pleased with ambiance of the restaurant, the menu was well thought out with a huge variety of entrees, and our waitress Anna was superb! She was engaging and went above and beyond, giving us a choice from the weekend brunch menu to the regular weekly menu. I liked that she checked on us often but not hovering and the food was very good. Definitely recommend this little restaurant for great American dining!

Must say the customer service was superb A-1 and the food matched the atmosphere. Make sure y'all check them out it's worth the stop.

It was wonderful!! We went towards the end of their day but we were greeted and taken care of by Cam. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person to take care of us. He was super through and a downright nice guy. 😊 The food... let's get to that. They gave us the breakfast menu. We had 5 people in our party. I got the country fried steak skillet. It was delicious!!! The hash browns were so great!! The steak and the gravy melted in my mouth. THAT BISCUIT y'all!!! Go get it!! It was so so good!! Needless to say, we will be back!!

Excellent!!! Will definitely return! The skillets were fresh and delicious!! The ambiance is cozy. Service is top notch!! We will be regulars!!

Update: it's been two years since I posted the above review so I wanted to provide an update. On our recent visit, I had the special which was the shrimp and crab omelette. It was incredibly delicious! The hubster had a BLT and biscuits and gravy. 🤔🙄😄 Despite my husband's strange food choices, I'm pleased to say that the food is still fresh and delicious and the service is still top notch! This is really a great little restaurant!! My compliments to the Chef & the owner!! 👍

Really it was just like any diner but the food was exceptionally good. Even something as simple as kids tender and fries. My kids are normally a handful of bites type kids but they finished each of their own dishes here. It was good hearty portions as well. Would highly recommend. Didn’t have a single thing less than phenomenal come to our table.

Loved the food! Served was pretty busy and couldn’t get to us fast enough but I’m a patient person. Tables rather close but can you blame management for doing that? It makes for less wait and it’s worth it! I’ll definitely be back!

New establishment and it was definitely worth the visit. The staff was fantastic very attentive and friendly. The portion sizes offered were great. As well as the price of everything was a steal. If in the Acworth area stop by and you will not be disappointed. Last note the pancakes here are giant and so fluffy my kids and I really enjoyed them and it does not hurt that they offer a variety of them.

What a delicious surprise. I expected a mediocre experience. But, it was not mediocre at all. The service was excellent (Kelly) and the food beyond my wildest imagination. I ordered the Chicken fried steak skillet. The skillet was hardly big enough to hold all the food. My tastebuds exploded from the combination of eggs, chicken fried steak, potatoes and succulent gravy. My hubby ordered the Cheesesteak omelette. He also received an enormous amount of food. He throughly enjoyed the flavors. If you want really good food, go to Salt and Pepper Cafe. You will not be disappointed.

We happened to stop here last year and was really please. We made it a point to go this past weekend and we definitely just need to make the drive more often. One of the very few restaurants that I honestly clean my plate. Our waitress being from NJ made our experience that much better! Highly recommend. I had chicken and waffles both times and I’m not even a chicken and waffles person. Waitress recommended a hot chocolate that has a liquor in it and it was amazing!! We will be back!

This is by far the best place for breakfast in GA! Yes I said GA 🙌🏽

My son and I enjoyed brunch at your establishment yesterday. We were able to comfortably chat in the shade on one of the many benches you provided while we waited for a table. It was the perfect day to sit outside at an umbrella table and soak up the perfect breeze, social distancing at it’s best. Your staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. My son especially relished Shelley’s Cheese Steak Omelette, he shared a bite with me, super tasty! As usual your blueberry pancake was amazing! I had Samuel’s Grit Breakfast Bowl, it was fantastically delicious. It did take a little while to get our food, but since you were considerably busy and we other wise had no issues, we’ll let it slide. 😉 Thank you S&P for a delightful experience!

Outstanding food and service. My wife and I experienced great service from Cam. He was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great suggestions, and the meal was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy but not cramped. I would definitely go back.

Can I just say that the food was amazing we had to come 2 days on a row just so we can try more things. Everything her is excellent! I literally cannot find anything wrong with this place. From the service to food everything was excellent!

We drive by often through the place and we decided to stop by. Man oh man! Great place for breakfast (that's what we had) and looking forward to try other dishes. We love local joints like this, specially when the owners are the one catering to the people. Love it! If you're in the area, and never visited this place, give it a try.

Found this cute place by accident. Literally. We were on our way to another restaurant for breakfast and there was a traffic jam due to an accident. So we turned around and found this place. It's a quaint place with a friendly staff. The owners were there and spoke when we left out. Their cook.....Lord knows he knows what he's doing back there in the kitchen. I had the chicken and waffles and my husband ordered the porkchop Mac and cheese with mash potato with gray. Everything was a tasty and we didn't have to doctor anything up. Fresh coffee stayed coming. I will be back when I come back to town.

I came to Kennesaw/Acworth for a Dr appointment and just went exploring and found this restaurant. It's small in size but huge in kind service and remarkable food. I'll definitely come back when I can. Special thanks to Cam! Also, thanks to all the kitchen staff for making my taste buds and stomach happy! 😄💜😄

So close to home with great service and delicious food! There is an evil genius making the krispy Kreme bread pudding! The fried ribs are amazing as an appetizer! I wanna go now!
