Ripepi's Restaurant

1st time eating here and we were very impressed. Had our 2 kids under 3 with us and the staff were friendly and asked if we needed anything for them. They even had a kids sippy cup for our oldest. Food was also great.

Will definitely eat here again

I have been here twice with friends from the area. Both times the meal was very good, and I would rate the service as friendly and prompt. The prices were not bad at all. I have not been there in over a year so perhaps it's time to go back.

Simply amazing, I would recommend calling and making a reservation, the food was to die for! I highly recommend the calzone, soup and salad bar as well. Soup was home-made, best croutons I have ever had. My waitress was perfect and took care of us very well. All and all I'll definitely be back for another round.

Excellent place to eat. Not many tables which adds to the charm. Also allows the staff to get your food to you faster.

Went here for my birthday, and surprisingly so did like 4 other people. We were all there for a birthday because Ripepis is wicked good.

Stopped into town with my mom for herkimer mining last weekend! This restaurant was one of 3 nearby and was delicious! We got the shrimp cocktail to start, and then had stuffed shells and chicken parmigiana. They make their own pasta and loaves of bread for the table. Each entree comes with salad bar, which also featured chicken noodle soup (buttery and delicious!). Will return if I’m in town again!

What fantastic Italian food! They have nailed the red sauce. All our food came out smoking hot and was delicious. Fish fry was super crispy and fresh, meatballs savory, manicotti perfection. It was hopping on a rainy, Friday night so make your reservations! Staff was super attentive and friendly despite the crowd! There is a bar attached to the main dining room which gives me Wisconsin supper club vibes and brings me back home! Love this place and will be returning. Highly recommend to follow the Facebook page for menus and specials.

Favorite place to dine. Family style restaurant with open spaced tables and more room in the attached bar. Delicious Italian and standard fare food. Love their homemade sauce. Their pizza is awesome, prices reasonable, and is family owned / run. Very friendly staff and owners are hands on involved. Great place. Amazing food! Awesome people!

Busy Friday night. But we were seated within a few minutes. Our drink order was taken immediately. Food arrived quickly and everything was delicious.

John and Cookie are the best. When the group we were invited out with, who had reservations at another establishment fell through, John and Cookie with less than 24 hours notice, accommodated all of us. We were a group of about 20. They graciously put up with all of us. The food was excellent. They were so attentive to all of our needs. Soup, Salad Bar, dinners, pizza was wonderful. Beverages too! The price was just right also. Just love this place and the people.

Their food is fantastic everytime I go there! The atmosphere is lovely and the service is great!

My daughter and I were in town for mining and camping overnite.
We went looking for food and found this great restaurant! I would reccommend Ripeppi's very highly! My daughter had the chicken and biscuits special and I had the eggplant parm.
Both dinners were AMAZING! I have not had such delicious eggplant parm. since my Grandma Dot made it years ago! (this was better because they layered the eggplant) We would drive to this place from Lake George it is so good.
The service was excellent, very reasonable prices and ample parking too! Go and see for yourself!

Stopped in with my parents who were visiting from PA. I am by no means a regular; I live an hour and a half away. We tried eating at Jim's harbor bar for dinner, but it turned out they only served lunch. Our outsider ignorance definitely worked against us there. Regardless, these guys were the only place that could squeeze us in with how late it was getting. Service was great; food was fantastic. I ordered the cod, and it was delicious. The New England Clam just beforehand was the perfect appetizer to go with it. My girlfriend and parents all got homemade pasta dishes that turned out good too. GF-cheese ravioli, Mother-spinach rigatoni, Father-Chicken Parm. As a take home we got the upside down pizza, and it was equally excellent. I really enjoyed tossing a slice in the toaster oven and having that to eat over the next couple days. Very unique, and very tasty. I'd go back if I didn't live so far away. If you live by this place, you're fortunate. Hit it up.

This place was exactly what I wanted it to be. Food was great, the bar had a ton of character, the locals sitting around me were very friendly, and the bartender made me feel like he really appreciated that I came in. So refreshing to hear. I wish them the very best and encourage anyone on the road, like me, to stop in for for some food and drinks. They deserve it.

Even when we were brand new in town, John Ripepi was a great host. Even after kitchen hours he'll usually have the kitchen whip you up a sandwich if you're hungry...

Good selection at the bar, quaint if not a little distressed for the years..

I love the pizza.

I have loved this restaurant since I was a kid and it hasn't changed a bit. The family who owns/runs it are the sweetest people you'll meet. The food is fabulous. Some of my favs: their pizza, the eggplant parmesan, their homemade spaghetti, and of course their infamous house salad dressing (I would buy this by the gallon if they sold it).

Always a nice meal. The waitstaff is very nice. Excellent greens and gluten free pizza. My favorite dish is chicken parm with greens. It's not on the menu, but they'll make it for you.

Very good food and helpful staff. We had a large group, over 10 adults plus children- they were very accommodating. We had reservations of course, but we had a dedicated waitress for the dinner as well.

We have gone there for many years. Its a quaint family owned business. The food is excellent and always consistent, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Its just a cozy hometown kind of place. The prices are very reasonable, you'll love it there!

Very good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Soup & salad come with every meal. Desserts are homemade & available to take home because you will be full. Staff is friendly & accommodating.
