Los Charros

Honestly since I moved to Texas, this has been the best mexican food ive tasted here. Thankfully I'm a big guy so I was able to eat 2 entrees 😅 the tampiqueña and charro burrito were nothing shy of amazing. The horchata 😫 couldn't get enough of it but I also had to leave room for the Spicy Tropical Margarita which was sooooo good! Hands down my GO-TO restaurant from now on. Service was top notch and the hospitality was great. Overall great experience.

First time here and the food was really good. We had margaritas and chips & salsa ... My husband ordered tacos al carbon, and I had flautas with side order of refried beans. We enjoyed all of our food. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Not to mention, the restaurant looked really clean. I'm going to go back for breakfast.

Really good Mexican food home style. Rosa and her sister took really good care of us. The chille relleno was excellent. The girls kept giving us refill and checked on us frequently. Great job!

My husband and I visit Los Charros for the second time. They have very friendly staff, and the food has authentic Mexican taste. My husband ordered the flautas, and I ordered the quesabirrias. Reasonable price and food portions. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

This family owned Mexican restaurant is reasonably priced and the quantity is good. It is a small place but always has an empty table when we go. The food is good and inline with other Mexican restaurant's near it

The wait staff aren't super friendly, but they do a good job of checking on you and making sure you have what you need. Everyone else that was there when we were seemed to be having a great time, no issues. 👍 I have had the quesabirria tacos twice now, and both times they've been magnificent! So delicious and not at all spicy (The salsa is a bit on the spicy side, though). The queso is good and the margaritas are pretty decent. Overall, it's worth checking out. The food is good and the wait staff will take care of you. 👍 What more could you ask for?

Great food and drink. The Aqua Fresca is a must try. And get some tamales to go. The service is top notch as well. I highly recommend.

I really don't see how Ernestos is packed but this place is generally empty. The food, service and atmosphere is so much better at Los Charros. Their salsa is on point!

What an awesome neat little place. It was empty, so we had the whole joint to ourselves. The wait staff took good care of us, but also didn’t smother us. They were eating lunch as well. :) Bathrooms were clean, the beer was cheap, and the birria tacos were amazing! We’ll certainly be back.

I eat here on Sundays after church. The food is really good they have Menudo- really yummy. This last week I had the Chilaquiles and I was really surprised at how good they tasted. The service is good.

We stopped for lunch at this unassuming small restaurant and were impressed! Service was attentive and prompt. Food was excellent - birria tacos were spicy. Tacos al carbon were good. Margarita was just right. And the salsa is fresh and delicious. The prices were fair. We liked the atmosphere and the cleanliness. We would definitely return.

I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas and I can say they are the best I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back to get these. The wait staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. The one thing that wasn’t my cup of tea was the chips and salsa. It was ok just not my favorite. This is a place you need to check out. I will be back soon.

They have excellent food. I try to order something different every time I go & have not been disappointed.

Went in on lunch to grab a dozen tamales and some queso. Restaurant looks nice and very clean. Service was very prompt and courteous. Brought me a drink while I waited and sent me home with free chips and salsa to go with the tamales. My wife and I enjoyed the food a lot and will be making plans to dine in and try some more soon. Highly recommended!

I took my mom here for her birthday. I went by to try it out with my GF a couple weeks before. Everything I have had is good. No one I have gone with has said anything different. They got good prices & great food. I've been to places with a better atmosphere but sometimes that can get out of hand.

First time. Thought this isn't going to be good. Wrong. It was very good. There were two of us, both ordered lunch portion of chicken fajitas. They were very tasty. Nicely browned with onions etc. I had charro beans they were great. Didn't try the rice. Can't help you there. I would definitely go back. The staff was very attentive as well. Forgot to take pictures.
