So glad I met these folks today. I found my new shop! Went in asking for a rail swap on my brothers ar15 for his birthday, I don't have the tools or knowledge. The owner was busy helping and talking with a local officer, but was happy to take a five minutes and swap the rail for me no problem. I really appreciate how cool he was with me, really great guy, and really knows his stuff. Great selection in store, and great prices. I was told Rich is the best gunsmith in the state, and I believe it! I wanted my Holosun EPS Carry red dot directly mounted to my 365X slide (without an adapter plate), so I took it elsewhere and it was installed wrong 3 times. My friend then recommended Rich, so I brought him my gun yesterday- he took one look at it, immediately knew what the problem was, and fixed it on the spot! His communication with me all week was top notch, and I was even more impressed to see his expertise and knowledge in-person! It's not just that he fixed the issue quickly, it was his assessment of type of screws, length of thread, etc. without even taking anything apart that blew me away! This guy knows his stuff. All that to say, any of my guns that need work are now going exclusively to Rich!

Rich is the best gunsmith in middle Tennessee. I had a .30-30 that needed a repair in the middle of deer season. Rich had it fixed literally in the matter of minutes.If you need anything repaired professionally and honest, this is the place to go.

Amazing gunsmith - I brought in a zev oz9c with a stripped rmr screw - the screw was strong enough that it stripped an ez out and required drilling out. Zero damage done to my sight or slide, no marring etc. To top it off unlike all other gunsmiths in Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin I was able to walk in and get help without an appointment. Great guy and I will be doing more business with him!

Excellent customer service, fast and efficient. Came in with a repair needed on a AK rifle, was done in 30-35 minutes on arrival to the shop. Would reccomend to anyone needing repairs or specialty work on their firearms.

The people working at the shop are always willing to help and fully knowledgeable. The in-house gunsmith is hands down the best in the area by far. Even better than most in Nashville. Take the time to slow down and stop into this shop if your close by.

My experience with echo 3 in Chapel Hill was the best. I had rounded screws on the optic cut plate of my shield plus 9mm and Rich worked on it for about an hour. The screws that came with the optic sight were metric and wouldn't work. He found some in back,cut them off and installed my sight. Rich is very knowledgeable and

Had issues getting the barrel nut off my ar. Rich did a great job popping it off and installing my new rail. Went to the range today and everything worked correctly. Rich is very detailed and explains things very well. Will be using him for all my gunsmith needs going forward.

Was very impressed with Rich and would highly recommend him and Echo 3 Armory. He worked on a gun for me at a shop he worked in years ago, and I found him by chance here at Echo years later when I was having trouble with the gun. He offered to have me bring the gun in free of charge to let him work on the issue, which I was impressed with. Especially since I had received a bid from another shop of over $200 just to look at it. Rich ended up recommending something over the phone and I tried it and it worked perfectly, so no need to bring the gun in for service. There aren't many people that would do this anymore! Great guy, and I highly recommend him to anyone.

My relatively new mossberg 12g shotgun broke at the range a while back. I took it in to Rich,
and what seemed complicated to me he fixed in literally five minutes. And, didn’t change me a dime. While I was waiting, he was helping someone else and it was obvious he has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I highly recommend Echo 3 and Rich! Thanks Bro!

Best Gun shop in middle TN and even better BBQ if you hit em up on the right day. My go to armorer for the past 2 years. They always get me squared away no matter the issue.. Excellent staff, and a super friendly environment. Will be offering my business to these guys as long as I’m slinging lead.

I recently purchased my S&W 45 Shield from Rich at Echo 3 Armory and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I am no expert when it comes to firearms but they made me feel very comfortable and even gave me some free advise. After a lot of range time, I came home to clean me pistol when the recoil spring blew apart. I took it back to Echo 3 and with in 10 minutes, Rich had a new one ordered and shipped.... 100% free of charge ! I was blown away by their service. Just thanks so much Rich and the other guy. Amazing service and workmanship. I visited 3 gun stores today including Nashville Armory and Royal Range and others and they all told a me it would take weeks and close to and over $100 just to get a screw and mount for the front sight on my shotgun. Rich was floored that they wouldn’t help me and decided to take care of my minor problem on the spot, had the right screw, and him and his business partner worked on it until it was complete. They even installed the front sight for me! They both went above and beyond to help me and it was nice to joke around and cut up a bit while I waited. These guys care about customers and actually try to help out unlike the snobiness and rip off of Nashville Armory. You can tell it’s business but also a passion in their shop. I will drive from Nolensville again for work on my guns. Just really glad to have found them.

I highly recommend Rich at Echo Three Armory. Do not go in when you meet him and ask where is the gunsmith due to first appearances because of his age. He is not someone that just assembles new parts and bore sights it for you, calling himself a gunsmith. I went to him with an original 1873 Winchester that was manufactured in 1882. I won this parts gun at auction. When it was shipped to me, the butt-stock was removed. The U.S. Postal Service either hit it with a skid-jack, forklift, dropped it off a four-story building, etc. bent the tang and crushed the screw hole in the tang. He said that he could correct it and do it properly. He made a tool and heated the tang, to very carefully stretch out the screw hole to keep the proper bevel, and was able to straighten the tang so it lined of perfectly with the original butt-stock. This is a proper gunsmith. He managed this in less than a week where another gunsmith had it 6 ½ months. He is fair on his pricing and will tell you what he can and cannot do. He is a quality gunsmith of the old-world tradition.

Rich is great to deal with! Took him a Colt 1911 with issues that Colt's customer service kept screwing up. He took care of me for a super fair price and very fast turnaround time. Went ahead and had him do a trigger job and it is SWEET.

Had an AR9 giving me trouble on changing out some parts, took it right in and Rich had me taken care of in less than 20 minutes. Super friendly and knowledgeable with competitive pricing on guns and more. Grab a t-shirt while you’re in there, super soft and comfy!

I visited Echo 3 Armory today and was extremely impressed. Rich was referred to me by Arms and Ammo in Franklin as the best gunsmith in the area.

They are extremely busy, but were able to work me in and sqap out a new front site on my handgun for me.

Jay and Rich provided great suggestions on how to get the best use out of my firearm and the provided great recommendatons on best instruction in the area.
