If you like small intimate venues you are going to love this place.

My clients hosted their wedding ceremony here and it was such a beautiful space. Anita was so accommodating to all of our questions and needs. They give you the keys and you have free range of the space all day- it's fully air conditioned, has a kitchen with fridge, oven, ice machine and they have beverage holders for you to borrow. Highly recommend for any event!

This place is unbelievable!! It's FREE and the talent is phenomenal. 1st Monday of each month 6-9pm. I promise if you appreciate good music and love singer song writer talent this is a must do.

Fantastic music venue, rich in history with great acoustics.

Wow! Lots of fun, open mic on the first Monday of every month. Lots of great musicians. Come and listen or bring your instrument and play. See you there in April.

My first visit to this venue. I saw six local musicians perform six different guitar styles. The soloists were outstanding, and when they played together it was a hoot!

This intimate setting allowed for even acoustic guitars to be heard. When they were mic'd, they were not so loud us to be overpowering, and the sound quality was good.

I walked away saying this may be my personal favorite of music venues I've visited. There is something so surreal and powerful about the simplicity of this structure, the intimacy of your experience with the musicians. During a typical performance you could hear a pin drop on stage. A supreme reverence to the music I felt deeply. Thankful for those who keep this running; it is a treasure in our own back yard.

This is an historic facility currently owned by Main Street Winter Haven. The Rotary Club of Winter Haven meets here every Thursday at noon and the facility is available for rent through the Chamber of Commerce. A nice venue with portable seating, a stage and PA system.

Great listening room. Not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of parking. Perfect for live music. A sound system that makes every performance intimate and impactful.

Nice little venue. First visit, but we'll be back. Looking forward to seeing Paul Thorn Band there.

A charming venue, if difficult for me to navigate, but that's on me, Sirius, Waze and running in to Keller Williams when I saw one. The receptionist used Google and input it to my phone!! Note to self: predrive in not optional! Ever!! That said. GPD was a cozy setting for the Rotary meeting I attended. Technology was effective in sharing a slide show and allowing the president to conduct club business timely. Tables and chairs were quickly broken down and stored 🙂 as well.

What a gorgeous little venue. I love the atmosphere with the exposed beams and rustic red walls. The restrooms and kitchen are up to date and I look forward to coming here again.

The experience last night was a legendary one, just like the venue it was held at. Im proud to call Gram Parsons Derry Down my home venue.

Amanda Shires put on a lively and amazing show. Musically, shes a world class fiddle player... But just as impressive as her songs was her story telling and the light of her personality. This shone through the entire night.
She stayed for a long time after the show signing and taking pictures. She was humble, friendly, and gracious with her time. She even took time to help Bonnie rosin and set up her new fiddle that we brought for her to sign. I was truly in awe of the moment.... The Derry Down once again helped make musical magic, as it did in the 60s, when it helped form and shape the legend that became Gram Parsons.

I cant think of another venue where youd get that experience and an artist would be more than happy to oblige. They both set a new bar for this fan, who has been to over 30 shows in this state and a few out of this state.

For those of you who love music for the lyrical truths, community, and fellowship of it; Allow me to make a bold
statement: There isn't a overall more warm and historic place to see a Americana, Rock, or Country artist play in the whole state of Florida. If the Grand Ole Opry is Tennessee's "Mother Church", then Derry Down is Florida's chapel.

Available for various events, often featuring local musicians. Somehow it always turns out to be a good time and brings together people who are fun to meet. Come on out and make some new old friends!

Amazing place and very kind people. The shows they put on there are worth the drive from Lakeland. Never a bad time, and musicians from around the country, some legendary.
