Jack in the Box

I had a really good time at this Jack in the Box. The ladies who took my order were awesome. I got the Sour Dough Jack with fries, and it looked just like the pictures—perfect. I'll definitely be ordering from here often!

There appears to be a lot of patrons that have not had a good experience at this Jack in the Box (250 N Avondale Blvd, Avondale, AZ 85323), but that isn't my experience. I've been going to this restaurant for several years as it very close to my office. I typically get a breakfast item, but sometimes a lunch item. The food I receive is typically hot, not warm, but nicely hot, like it was just prepared. The Hispanic (my apologies if I'm incorrect) woman that always works the window (Manager, I believe) is quick, attentive and professional. She's not bubbly, not rude, and doesn't hang out the window talking to patrons making me wait. She's friendly in a professional way, attentive, and accurate. If she is the manager, she runs a well managed fast food business, in my opinion. When nearly all other fast food businesses can no longer be considered "fast" food, this location is. That I appreciate more than anything else. I know I can go there, my order is accurate, its hot, and above all it is promptly provided. If there's a line in the drive-thru I know it will progress quickly. I normally wait 6 - 9 minutes at Whataburger (but I like them), typically 3 -4 minutes at BK, and nearly always 5+ minutes at McD's. Tell me why it takes so long at these other locations? Poor management...maybe. Lazy, don't care employees? I get that vibe most of the time, which to me is a sign of bad management and/or young people that are over-exposed to the commercialism of social media, and the social degradation it is creating. I personally, applaud the management at this location. Keep it up. Maybe a tiny smile every so often would be cool, but hey, I'm very happy with what they do and with the woman's (manager?) professional mannerisms.
All in all, the food is served promptly and hot. For me, that's what I'm wanting in a stop at a fast food restaurant.
(The 4 star rating for the food is simply due to it being fast food. I can't give a high quality sit down restaurant a five and also give a fast food place a five. Degrades the high quality restaurant rating. There isn't anything poor about this restaurants food, but it is still fast food (lots of sodium, sugar, and fats).
The 5 star rating for atmosphere is simply that the drive thru is all I ever use and for a drive thru, it's clean, the ledge area by the window is kept clean and in good repair. It doesn't gross me out to reach over the ledge to accept my food, and there are places that I won't go to again just for that reason. If that area of high use, high contact with the patrons, isn't kept clean and nice, then it makes me question whether other internal areas are kept any better. This is food folks, and clean and sanitary is part of the expectation.

Update 5/14/24,
I had my first not so enjoyed breakfast here today. Same professional, courteous manager working the window. It was the breakfast burrito and small coffee I received that was lacking. Both were only warm, and I had requested jalapenos and onions to be included. Didn't have the jalapenos and onions, but it did have a stray piece of very, very hard bacon in it. When I bit this very hard object, my initial thoughts was a piece of hard plastic, long and triangular. My bite didn't break it, cut it, or crumble it. I had eaten about a quarter of the burrito before finding the bacon piece. I tried one more bite but realized I wasn't comfortable continuing to eat the burrito. Besides the bacon piece, the burrito contents didn't have the same fresh made look or feel. They felt like they may have been warming for some time, somewhat overly dry.

The most surprising or disappointing aspect was the failure of the burrito not having the additions I requested, and it being just luke-warm. They have always gotten my food right. It was something I could count on, that also set them apart from most other fast-food restaurants, which seem to always fail to get orders correct.

Does this discourage me from continuing to frequent the restaurant, no. Everyone has an off day. They are still way better than other fast-food shops.

Sergio was AWESOM!! Curly fries was old, but thelat is the only negative thing I have to say!! Thank you again Sergio for dealing with our difficult order!! Erik is pickey and needs extra!!

The two crispy tacos are always good to keep the munchies at bay. Both my wife and I love them.

We stopped and got a kids meal for my granddaughter...she likes Jack cause thier fries a bigger

Very friendly staff and each time we order online there are never any issues. The quality and attention to each order is great! The staff seem to enjoy one another and have a good vibe going on, which I feel just adds to the good quality of each meal. Thanks for the great service and delicious food!

Groovy experience I always visit late at night and was help make an account on the app to have my order ready and faster as well. Way more convenient and efficient. Highly recommend just asking a question or two most likely you'll get help

It's been a hit or miss. For some reason, if I order in the morning or during the day staff is friendly and great. If I order at night, especially during late night morning hours their "system" is down and will take 45 minutes to be on again. I just avoid this place all together.
Victor was very friendly and quick. Great costumer service. He made up the past bad experiences when in need of a meal a 2 am. Thanks Victor! They hired a good one.

This Jack in the box is really good. I ordered my food and it was fresh. I was treated respectfully and they didn’t rush me to eat my food. When I got up to use the bathroom, the bathroom was very clean. I am really surprised that I got the chance to see such a good Jack in the Box. It’s my first time here and it really shocked me. Well done to the staff and management. I would recommend this Jack in the box!

The customer service here is exceptional! I forgot eggrolls as part of a drive-thru order, and it took no time at all at the front counter to get them. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I always use the drive thru at this facility. My greeter over the intercom are always pleasant, and polite. My food is always fresh.

Love going to this same location. They have really good prices on burgers and fried tacos and enough to satisfy your hunger. Employees here are also very nice and quick. Walked in one time and told them i only had a certain amount of money and they were able to help me get enough to feel full but not go over. Definitely helpful when asked.

They can never hear me in the Drive-Thru, might be a good idea to upgrade your equipment. I'm no yelling my order out.

I love how you can order 20 tacos for $10. (On the jack app)

Fabian is so awesome! He is always the only one working the night shift and i'm sure thats a lot to handle, but he still keeps a positive and calm attitude

Just order sausage platter and #1 with large ice tea through the drive thru which I never do, due to the fact most companies will screw it. Today I was amazed food was fresh and order came out perfect and the staff member at the window didn't get his name but he is a great asset to Jack n the box, great work guys keep it up and will be returning soon.

The service here has been an A+ amongst food and interactions at the window with the employees. They're always super kind.

Let's face it Jack in the Box is awesome! The one near me on 51st Avenue and Southern in Laveen Arizona, is the best Jack-in-the-Box ever! Late Late Nights hungry, munchies, want to talk to some friendly girls I'm sorry women sorry about that ladies this is the place to go the staff is amazing food is fantastic if Jack were to go someplace and make the food himself and guessing it's here because the food tastes like somebody with a passion for Jackie box makes it only a guy or person with a gigantic spherical head a pointy hat and a love for delicious slightly greasy little bit salty which is exactly what you want to 3 in the morning when you get the munchies right go Jack in the Box you rock 51st Avenue and Southern all the way hell I'm going there right now

My go to place. The food is always so fresh! Tastes like it came freas off the grill. They are always fast and accurate!
