Aurora's Kentucky Lake Cottages

Husband and I spent 2 nights in one of the cottages. It wasn't fancy but was really nice. It was clean and had everything we needed including dishes.
We reserved our cottage online. Check-in was so easy! Mr. Dave was so friendly and full of interesting information about the area. A real joy to talk to.
We will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place and lots to do. Close to everything. The family that runs it is amazing. Highly recommend staying here.

Just a good fit for us, comfy queen bed, shower, microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Excellent air conditioning. They have an outdoor pool, however we didn't use it.Looked fresh and clean.
Dont let the hwy frontage scare you. Stayed Jul 3 and 4...didn't hear a sound. Dave and Jayme are exceptional hosts. You can not go wrong here!

Great place to stay, owners are very friendly and helpful. Our cabin was very clean and roomy.

Mr. Dave and his wife was amazing, down to earth people! It was great traveling over 900 miles from Waycross Georgia, on our Duck Hunting Trip to meet people with Hospitality just like back home! I would recommend staying here anytime of the year! Easy access for boats and trailers! The cottage we stayed in held 5 comfortably. Very clean and quiet place to stay! Thanks to you guys for the awesome trip to Kentucky Lake!

Loved our stay here! We were all able to meet up (daughter & son-in-law from Indy + their 2 dogs, our son from Nashville) and hubby & I with our sweet senior dog and stay TOGETHER! It was wonderful and so affordable since mom & dad were picking up the bill! We ate out at the Mexican restaurant down the road(very delicious) but fixed most of our meals at the cabin. We found it to be very "cabin/cottage" like. Perfect for what we were looking for and to be able to have our big, but well mannered, well behaved and beloved dogs with us...priceless. It wasnt spotless and the bathroom floor could use replacing and the toilet doesn't seem completely attached, but NO MOUSE DROPPINGS like I read in some of the reviews and it certainly wasn't disgusting. It was clean and a lovely cottage for our fall golf & kayak getaway.

This place is amazing! Our cottage was fantastic. The place here was great! Wish I could buy this place! It's so close to EVERYTHING fishing 🎣, kayaking,boat rentals , shopping . They have a swimming pool that's very clean.We have 3 girls that loved the pool, and my girls said to mention the playground, pool table . I would love to come back! Owners are good people! Thank you for a great time hope to see you next year!

(Mid July Booking 2022)This place is an amazing place to stay. Very kid friendly and three minutes from the boat ramp. I stayed in the motel room and it was very clean, tidy and the beds were amazing. Only thing i could say negatively about the room would be the water pressure in the sink. Otherwise absolute Gem of a place to stay.

Good atmosphere very quiet enjoy the stay I would recommend it to everyone. I thought I give you 5 stars I must have got in a hurry. You got them now sorry about that and thanks again.

We needed a place close to Kentucky Lake for my nephew's BASS Tournament. We opted for one of the cabins instead of a hotel and stayed here for two nights. VERY ACCOMMODATING! They have everything you need for a clean, comfortable family experience here. The owners are awesome! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We’ve have stayed here every yr since 2015, maybe even before that…and we will keep coming back! The owners are wonderful and will be missed when the place is sold. It’s laid-back, quiet and dark enough to hear the frogs and see the stars at night. Get away from the city and the people, kids can play right out side your cottage or cabin. Pool is always clean, we spent the majority of the time there! It still holds its 1950s charm, which I love because it reminds me all the stories my mom and granny shared of the old country Kentucky. Close to the LBL and the lakes, marina, restaurants. We stayed in the mobile homes and the cottages before, we love the rustic wooden look of the cottages and with the fireplaces, I bet make it cozy in winter! Rooms are clean and tidy, kitchen is fully stocked with assorted dishes, pots and pans-just bring your food and get to cooking! I love the convenience of that especially when traveling with little kids! We’ll definitely be back next year!

This is a very cozy place,the ship lap walls are a great touch, the management are super friendly, the pool is really nice my son loved the slide, it was a really nice stay and priced good. The location is close to the lake. I'm glad we stayed here.

Our 2nd stay was super nice again, and we got the same room, everything was great extremely friendly management and great clean rooms, and the pool was nice, thank you guys

Oh and the siding and upgrades to the place were extremely nice

Very friendly owner, very nice place to stay and I will definitely be back. There was only one suggestion I have and that would be to have thicker curtains in bathroom, when you step out of shower the window is right there with see through curtains especially at night with light on. My husband hung a couple towels up that we brought with us. The pool is nice and clear. We are really enjoying ourselves.

We loved the cottage we stayed in #15. It was me,my son and a friend of his. The owners are very friendly. It is close to everything. The boys and I fished it was close to the lake very close. Close to to land between the lakes. . I loved the place and so did the guys. We will definitely be back again.

Clean cabins, great mattresses, well stocked, staff are very friendly and helpful.
Family get away and there was plenty of things to keep them busy at the resort!
Owners make you feel like old friends!
If you are looking for a "Hilton " experience you might not enjoy this great gem. If you are looking to relax and feel welcome and appreciated, this is your spot!
Grandkids and older kids loved it, as well! The pool was clean and the slide was awesome for the kids.
Loved being able to grill and eat right at our cabin. The grills are clean and well maintained!

We stayed 3 nights in cabin 4 recently and had a great time! It was clean and kid friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed and our kids loved the large playground. It’s also only a few minutes away from Land Between the Lakes and the owners were very friendly. Our family plans to return again in the spring!

Despite a few hiccups, an the owner took care of it. It's a nice little hole in the wall to get away from everything. Definitely family friendly, a pool an a decent size play area for kid's to enjoy.

We visited 7 years ago and we all had a very nice time. This place is classic . Good spot for a fishing and camping vacation. Amazing spot for a family reunion. Very decent people that run the place. They even invited us to church. Good spot all around!

Owners are very nice. The cottage was well stock with dishes, pots, pans, etc. There was enough room inside and plenty of seats outside with a grill and picnic table at every cottage. Pool table, air hockey, table tennis and so many other activities for adults and children. We will definitely return and will tell friends and family.

A group of us stayed at these cabins while spending the weekend at Turkey Bay ATV park this October. Absolutely loved them, clean and very spacious. Friendly staff. Close to the ATV Park. 10/10 Would def recommend. We will be staying there again.
