I have eaten here a handful of times now - customer service is always on point. Everyone is very upbeat and helpful. The wait was about 10 minutes and they give you tea while you wait. The chicken and beef shawarma are always great. The garlic sauce is VERY strong - heads up. Delicious plates - highly recommend if you’re in town. There are even really good milk chocolates at the register.

Small inside - about 4 tables for seating and a few chairs for the counter. Cozy space.

Everything was perfect! The chicken shawarma was excellent quality and the wrap was tight. I regret turning down the tea, but I respect everyone in the establishment. Shoutout to Marissa in the back. Will be coming back on Friday!

Some of the best falafel I've ever had. Great service, friendly people, even complementary tea and coffee.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! THE Best place to eat in Fairfield HANDS DOWN! 10/10 would eat here everyday. I would be fine if every restaurant in FF closed except this one. If you don’t eat here you clearly have no taste in great food 😋

Love ❤ me some shawarma 🥰 it’s a small seating area with a 15 minute wait time after you order. It’s only open a few days a week for lunch forcing foodies to line up. Worth it 👍🏼

This is a charming hidden Gem located at the heart of Fairfield IA. The owners are warm and receptive . The food is incredible and the atmosphere is cozy.

In from out of town and I am so impressed by the food here. I got the falafel on a pita and it was messy but sooo good. And my friend got beef on rice and the beef was perfectly cooked and honestly the best beef I’ve tasted in a long time. I’m not the biggest fan of meat unless it’s genuinely good and this was genuinely very good. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Minnesota. The people are very kind & helpful and the food was amazing. Had a chicken shawarma wrap and it was one of the best I've had.

:) Went to eat for my Birthday wanting to try Shawarma without knowing what it was. And I will say- it is amazingly delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the food amazing.

First time trying this type of food and it was delicious. I got chicken shawarma in a pita with a side of falafel. It was well seasoned and amazing. I will come back for sure

I'm about a million years old and I've eaten about as many falafel sandwiches and Hungry Camel makes THE best I've ever had. Each one is 2 meals for me. Super nice folks too.

Had a great falafel pita that was stuffed with loads of ingredients- so scrimping. Falafel was fresh and crispy w/o being dry. Lots of sauce inside as well. Pleasant staff from the minute you walk in the door. Their mint tea is also very delicious. Give them a try for your next takeaway.
