Walmart Pharmacy

I just switched over to Walmart from Walgreens. Getting scripts at Walgreens was such an ordeal the long lines and wait time was ridiculous. I walked into Walmart pick up my scripts and left all with in a few minutes, that would have taken me 30 minutes to get them from Walgreens.

Customer service is always friendly - prompt service- my favorite pharmacy!

I go on off hours. The Pharmacists I have encountered are patient and answer my questions.

Prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service from the staff. Highly recommend. They will go to bat for you when the insurance company is less than helpful.

As a prior pharmacy technician myself, I was a little disappointed with this location. I called in a prescription refill at least 42 hours in advance and was told an estimated pickup time for the following day. When I sent my boyfriend to pick it up for me seeing that I'm sick, the technician was rude and impatient, telling my boyfriend that my insurance wasn't on file and wouldnt take insurance details from my boyfriend despite me giving him the information.I wish the pharmacy would have given me a call ahead of time asking me how I wanted my prescription billed instead of completely rejecting my refill and not telling me about it and giving an attitude to my boyfriend.

The only reason that I do not knock my review down to 2 stars is because the pharmacists themselves have been lovely and upon calling the pharmacy today to discuss my refill issue, the technician I spoke to was very professional and kind. It's unfortunate that the service is a hit or miss in terms of professionalism.

The pharmacy is so inconvenient compared to Walgreens. You call to see if your prescriptions are ready. Instead of entering your phone number and birth date it asks you for the RX number which you don’t have if this is the first time. I was transferred to a person. I was told that my kids meds would be ready by the evening yesterday, and waiting for me in the morning. I go in right when they open to be told they are out of stock, and end up driving 15min back home

This review is based solely on the pharmacy....Meds are ready on time, and face to face good customer service. My main complaint is an assistant pharmacy tech seems super rude on the phone. Called in to ensure I would be able to pick up tomorrow and got a yes.... And then a Hangup. No goodbye... Have a nice day... Common curtesy is a dying quality.

I don't know why I torture myself. Should have went to the one by southtowne.
