We went and spoke with Mildred today! She was extremely nice and looked at our bracelet throughly. We already had a quote from another pawn shop a friend took the bracelet to. Value pawn quotes us $650 more than the other pawn shop. We were curious so we went back to the original pawn shop just to see what they would quote us. The original price was $250, then that same pawn shop told us $400. Value Pawn was even more than the $400. We told Mildred and her co worker our story and they couldn’t believe it. We understand that people have to make money off of what they are selling but you also have to be fair. I TOTALLY recommend Value Pawn and will be back. Thank you for your help today and your honesty.

Buckle up, because this will be a long one.
I’ve been coming here off and on for about a year now and it’s the best store in town.
However, my expectations were recently exceeded when I attempted to quickly sell some items in hopes of acquiring funds for a last minute, unexpected flight to see my father, who suffered a potential life-threatening issue, completely out of left field.
Long story short, my dad’s proactiveness made for a short stint in the ICU and the last-minute flight wasn’t needed.
Fast forward a week later, and I happened to stop by the pawn shop just to browse and Rob pulled me aside and asked how my father was - I was overwhelmed with such emotion that a man, who meets hundreds of people weekly (perhaps even daily) not only retained the info pertaining to my crisis, but also took the time to ask me about his progress.
In a day where customer service has literally become a joke, Rob is one of the few who “gets it” and is probably the main reason why that store in particular is the most profitable.
Rob has always treated me fairly and with full respect; he also finds ways to politely tell me if my items are junk; and most recently, has shown me his ability to not only create, but also maintain and build upon previous relationships.
I will never forget the week I had, with being scared out of my wits, and then having a valued member of society check in on me.
People could learn a thing or two from Rob’s customer service.
Rob, if you ever end up seeing this, thank you for remembering to check in on me after a dire situation. I’ll never forget it.

This has been a lifesaver, this company is amazing and this location is the best. Rob is so nice and the staff DJ, Mildred, Andrea and Jocelyn are so nice. There are closer locations to me but I go out my way and drive here just for them.

I first came to Value Pawn after a Pawn shop in the area offered me $45 for a ring I paid $1200 on! I needed to borrow $450 and came here terrified the same thing would happen. Well it didn't...I was given the $450 I needed with no problem and out the door in 15 minutes. It's been over 13 years and I've been a customer ever since Mildred, Anibel, and Robert are AMAZING!!! They have always taken great care of me, it doesn't matter if I'm purchasing an item, or have an emergency and need a quick loan. I have never been taken advantage of and they give me top dollar for every item.
I'm extremely grateful for the help I've received from them over the years. I've also added some great pieces to my jewelry collection thanks to them as well!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would :-) XO Katie
