Academy Sports + Outdoors

My go to when I need anything to do with outdoor activities and shooting.

Any sporting activities and outdoor activities are well represented in the store.

On a hot day it was nice to walk in. As soon as I did I was greeted and offered a card deal of some sort uninterested I said no thank you and was not hassled or asked again.

I was immediately greeted at the door . The employee easily helped me find my last minute purchase.

Our Rescue during the pandemic! We were looking for a way to exercise and stay fit. We were on a mission and walked into Academy and found our gem. This has been a great addition to our household. They assembled and loaded it before we left. Thanks Academy!

This particular location has the best customer service experience I've ever had at any Academy I've been to.

They have a little bit of everything here. We’ve been coming here for years. The employees are always around and helpful.

What can I say everybody that loves outdoors loves Academy. This certain Academy right here by my house I think it's 165 store the folks there are just really friendly. The manager runs a good ship over there because he's got everybody on their customer service toes

Natalie was a great help! In a lot of places, the employees avoid the customer. Natalie approached us as if helping made her happy. We were ready to settle on our 2nd choice. She looked on her device and said we have just one of what you're looking for, then she set out to find it. She succeeded and we won. Came in today looking for tennis shoes for my niece! We didn’t find a great selection of girls tennis shoes today. It happens. We did find great deals in youth clothing for her! The BCG brand really helps save money and is great quality. I found some hats on sale. I have my eye on some coolers and the salesmen were very helpful telling me about some different options that might serve me best. I’ve bought ammo at this location in the last few months too. Great help. Great store location.

Shoe shopping and the assistant there was Chris he went beyond to assist me in looking for exactly what I was looking for and the exact size, for him being ambitious and I can tell he's going places, very hard working and management material

Very clean and pleasant employees. Our first time here (looking for a jacket they said was here but wasn't) and worth the drive. We ended up buying more stuff here and had an exchange and the cashier was super nice and made the transaction easy.

My left elbow got strain/sprain while weight lifting (upright row). I was looking for compression support/brace and was surprised to see they have variety. Great selection compared to pharmacy stores; not as much compared to Amazon but when you need it ASAP and can't wait for next day delivery, this is the place to go.

Very nice, friendly & helpful staff. I was in a bit of a rush & knew what I wanted, but had no idea where the item was located. So as I walked through the doors & was greeted, I asked where the item I needed was located. The person who greeted me took me directly to the item & then walked me to checkout. % stars to the staff.

Out of all the Academy's this one I like the most got a friendly staff real helpful with knowledge if you don't know. Always buy odds and ends different merchandise but what I mostly come in for is ammo lately the one off of 59 and Highway 6 that's some good employees there but some are rude. But the one off of Highway 6 going towards Fresno they were pretty good stuff they're just like the one in Rosenberg. But for the oh and I'll keep up the good work I know we are in a pandemic dealing with a lot of people at one time and plus the holidays don't help.
