I don't usually travel this far for accessories or transfers, but was happy to find some knowledgeable people that know the current laws.

Many places won't even sell you a 15 round magazine in Illinois even though it is perfectly legal for a handgun. Steve found me a few magazines that were hard to find and was able to grab them nice and easy. They gained a new customer that's for sure.

Completed the 2 day class for concealed carry with my son! The instructors were very professional and informative!! Mike and Steve were great and have a wealth of knowledge to pass on to others!! I highly recommend anyone looking to further their knowledge with fire arms to sign up for their training course!! Red dot also has many other classes to help prepare yourself in the event you become a victim in today’s society!!

Mike and his RSO’s are always so helpful with ensuring that you have a proper grip/stance. I appreciate the time they take at the range preparing students to be responsibly armed citizens after receiving their CCL. I continue to take classes from Mike and his staff because every time I do, I learn something and improve.

I have taken several training classes, concealed carry, and renewal classes at Red Dot Arms. Even while only stopping in to shop their inventory... it's awesome to see collaboration occurring among customers as the atmosphere is safe and welcoming.
There is a nice selection of firearms, and accessories, including edged weapons of excellent quality.
Also, don't be timid while you are there... because I can't count the times Mike or his staff has offered to order something into the store that I was considering.
Lastly, they exercise a flawless transfer process and I am proud to have them as a trusted FFL dealer.

I have been going to Red Dot Arms since 2013 and have always found something that I really NEEDED. It’s an addicting habit when you see all the fantastic products that they have in stock or they can order for you. One of the best things I like, when they have their gun sale they have the items in stock. It’s my favorite GO TO PLACE.

While taking a class through the academy side, I needed a few things to for the course and the store worked around the class schedule to make sure I could get what I needed. I also did two transfers of firearms, and the staff was very knowledgeable about what and how things had to be done.

I purchased a gun bag and it was exactly like the one on their web site, when I received it. The quality, price and customer service are the best. Why shop elsewhere, when this company has everything you need, backed by professional knowledgeable people trained to assist you and they stand behind all of their products. It is obvious, that they don't believe in stock photos, since what you see, is what you get. Can't thank them enough!!!

A great local gun shop with an amazing staff. Very friendly, down to earth, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I've been a frequent customer and supporter of Red Dot Arms since I bought my very first pistol (glock19) from them back in 2014, which they had listed for $100 less than Bass Pro wanted for the same exact gun. The training they offer is top of the line and at an unbeatable price. Amazing instructors as well. I've taken CCL classes as well as skills and drills with Steve, Mike, Jack, and range officer Ken. They have all been great and I've learned and improved so much from them. Im looking forward to the AR15 class next month and the next skills and drills!

I’ve mostly done FFL transfers here, but everyone in the shop is friendly. Overall the sales staff is more knowledgeable than average and their prices are fair.

This place is awesome. The guys in here are super friendly and know all their products incredibly well. Spent quite a bit of time discussing options and trying to find exactly what i wanted and they were very patient and helpful!

I left so many gun shops prior to coming into yours because everyone everywhere else is so pompous and rude. yet you guys made my first gun buying experience so comfortable and friendly. you guys will always be my new spot to come to even if we do have to take an hour drive just to get there!

Excellent shop! They’ve got a wide selection of new and used firearms, and seem to have some fantastic finds come through on a regular basis. Purchasing from them was as straightforward as can be. Will definitely come back soon!

If you are ever considering taking a concealed carry class, stop looking any further! This place is great and the instructors are amazing. Steve, Mike and Ken (range officer) were all amazing, more than willing to help and guide your learning. They had excellent tips and suggestions, for this newbie, and their guidance helped me tremendously in achieving confidence in my skills. Their store is also great and in my opinion they have the best prices around!

Mike and his team are great! I purchased guns and ammo here and took the conceal and carry class here. I am ex-military and still feel like I learned a lot of useful information in class. Mike is a natural leader and had every student engaged and listening, I believe even the mosquitoes stopped flying to pay attention to him. Very professional atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend this store and class.

Steve, Mike, Paul and the entire staff at the range were amazing! Super experienced and supportive. I took the conceal and carry class part 1 and 2 last weekend. After taking the classes, I feel confident and well informed. The staff at the store are also very helpful.

The Owner and the staff are the best in the business. I have purchased several firearms from this establishment Even when they did have a certain firearm in stock Steve and Mike were able to find to find it with in a couple of days. The one on one experience and knowledge and what you are looking for and they listened to what you wanted. No Pressure Sales is what I liked about the team and straight forward advice.I will continue purchasing firearms/ammo and supplies from this company. They are the tops over all the local gun shops in the area when it comes to selection and education on firearms.
