I can’t rate this place high enough. Their staff was friendly, attentive, and fun. Whatever the hot dog thing is is fantastic, as I’ve had 3 tonight between my in house and to go orders. The pink fizz is great, as was my pour of beer. Would come back for sure. Simple business model but super high quality.

As someone in the industry I felt at home in professional environment with employees that clearly like their jobs.

Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place.
Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup.

Blazing fast service. We just barely sat down when they called us to grab our food. Possibly the best priced meal in Vail, and arguably the best tasting.

A must stop for me when I'm in Vail. Tiny restaurant/bar with outdoor seating and a busy to-go counter. Delicious (and quickly served) food and drink. Jovial atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended. Get there specialty of the house: hot dog served Swiss style. Delish!!!!!

This is a must place to visit when in Vail, best hot dogs and their drinks are also great. It's a staple in Vail.

This restaurant proudly serve the one and only Vail's original... The SWISS DOG.. two mild pork and veal brats served on a French baguette.. Do not miss it.. That's all I can say folks.. out of words..

Very very cute place! I didn’t have their food, but their Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Schnapps was DELICIOUS! They even made it to pretty!

When the family has been making these dogs for 40 Years, I had to try it. This is not your regular dog, my wife and I will be back each time we visit Vail. The owner is a longtime local and hilarious. I loved the bloody marry too!!!

Great spot for a beer and brat in the village. I would skip the soup and get an extra brat. Excellent service and friendly staff. They even have imported beignets from France!

Price is right, they no longer use sprouts instead it’s arugula, but so good and I have fond memories from meeting the original proprietor. Get the chicken noodle soup!

Satisfying every time. This place is a Vail staple. Family owned and operated since 1967. It's changed locations several times throughout the years but they continue to serve a great product.

Nothing compares to the original Swiss Hot Dog! I've been addicted to these things since I was a kid, growing up here in the 80's. Anytime I happen to be passing through Vail, I make a point to stop and grab a Swiss Hot Dog. It's my favorite treat to myself, and well worth the price. I like to get a triple, because I think it has the best ratio of sausage to other ingredients. This is a family-owned business that has survived through some tough times. I'm glad they're still around!

The Blü Cow is a staple in the Vail Village! The famous Swiss dogs they are known for are amazing. They have a wide range of beer, wine, and a full bar with a lot of great cocktails. The employees are always super friendly and the owner is amazing. Definitely stop in for Après-ski in the winter as this is the place to be.

Wish you could move to the Vail Valley? Start by doing what all locals do - have a Swiss dog at least once a month. Want something healthy - have their 20 veggie soup. I swear their soup cures Covid ;-) I like to ask for extra mustard, but truly the basic order is perfection on its own.

Really good food and drink. It's a great spot to post up with friends. The bathroom is hard to find, you'll know what I'm talking about if you have visited :)

In the mid 1980's, I lived in Vail. My favorite place to get a relaxing and yummy lunch was the Swiss Hot Dog Company. Over the years, I traveled to Vail with my kids. My kids loved eating at the Blu Cow. I was thankful to see that the food was still good. Years ago, you shipped the hot dogs and seasoning out to customers. Do you still do this?

Y’all the Chicken Noodle Soup…it tastes like grandma made it haha I have to say this soup is unbelievably delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back and have more and try the Swiss Hot Dogs! You have to go here if you haven’t already!!
