Walmart Bakery

I loved how they made my husband’s cake last year and it was great so I’m gonna order them Again this year

I went in to Tomah Walmart bakery scrambling in hope they could help. Order a cake for my childs birthday. As last minute on Tuesday my previous cake decorating place decorator got injured and was no longer able to deliver the cake for my child's birthday on Sat.
The employee who I talked with was very understanding friendly and informative. Throug our entire conversation the cake decorator was rite there as well listening to eveything agreeing on the style and theme ect... Full sheet cake with green area around it, race track around middle, red rop and bottom blue boarders, yellow writting. However when I went to get the cake on Friday afternoon, the boarder color around the bottom was brown not blue and there was no red boarder on top. There was extra frosting decor things added which we didnt ask for or discuss. I said the colors are wrong. She said well I figured it was a race track so I put brown as a base boarder color. I said I didn't ask for that. It was supposed to be like the image color. She gave me an eye roll and wasn't happy about it but I made her scrape off the brown and add the blue boarder but didn't have much time to wait around for the rest to be fixed. So I just took the cake. Though they were able to get my childs birthday cake done in 3 days time which I appreciate, I Feel like it was not a $60 cake. Very poor quality decorating and decorator was not able to follow written or verbal directions on what I the customer wanted. Will not be going back!
