Saporito's Pizzeria

I had to make sure that the first chicken sausage and wild mushroom pizza I ordered wasn't a fluke. Nope, the second one confirmed it. I really think this pizza is the best I have ever had. If you are reading this in December you need to move fast. This amazing combination of flavors is this month's special and won't be around next month. Thank you everyone at Saporito's for coming up with this delicious pizza. I'll be back for a third before the month is up.

I order a small salad. It has hard boiled egg, homemade Italian sausage slices, tomato, hot peppers and homemade Italian dressing. Then my child size pizza arrives with wonderful crust and flavors. I like sausage, green pepper and onion. Always good service and friendly local people enjoying their pizzas. A couple times the whole building shook as a train came barreling down the track. That's an additional perk since I love trains.

My boyfriend and I LOVE Saporitos! We have been coming in/ordering out from here for years and are never disappointed. The pizza is always delicious and you can’t leave without getting an order of spingi.

Pizza is phenomenal. Best in the area. Pasta dishes and Italian beef sandwiches are also top notch. You know a place is great when it's been the same owner for more than 10 years and you see him hard at work making the food every time you visit.

A small place with a hard working staff , owner chef working his butt off to provide fresh good food and making lots of carry out orders , Pizzas flying out the door constantly.

1st time here had spaghetti and meatballs very delicious had a small it was very plentiful .Server was very friendly and attentive.Definitely will be back .

This is a wonderful pizza restaurant! One of our favorites, we have dined in and ordered takeout. The business has a hard-working happy atmosphere, and the food is delicious. If you call an order in, the food is on time. They are probably one of the most visited restaurants in the area. Great job!

Try the Italian beef! Everything is homemade including the cheesecake. The crab Rangoon pizza is awesome!

The crust was super thin. Had the pizza of the month, gyro pizza. Will be going back!

Pizza and menu items are excellent, you walk into the fairly small, but comfortable restaurant and are immediately met with the smells of a true pizzeria, it reminds me of the small family owned pizzeria in Mount Horeb when I was grade school age, handmade and always epic, I give a deserved 5 star on my food chub power rankings!!

I like that they have a new special pizza every month. Most of the special pizzas are fun, interesting, and delicious. The staff is always friendly. It is the best pizza in Lena.

Best pizza, wings, and Italian beefs for miles. The giardinara is just like in Chicago. Definitely try the homemade cheesecake and crab Rangoon pizza!! Great fast friendly service and value for the price.

This is my favorite pizza in the Freeport/Lena area. I can't say enough for the taste and quality. The cheese is always slightly browned on top how I like it. Quality ingredients and plenty of them. I just love their sausage and they don't skimp with it.

Fun time with Family at Saporito's! Had 2 different pizzas and daughter had chicken bites. I also had a side salad. Nice view of football game. Loved their pizza 🍕😋!

Visited a week ago.
Outstanding pizza, Very reasonably priced. We drive 30 miles but would do a hundred. We call them when we are 1/2 way there, to order, and reserve a table, when we arrive the pizza is almost done and our table is ready. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. I verbally thank them for the outstanding meal we just enjoyed, & tell them see you soon.

This place never disappoints....but then I tried the Cauliflower crust and I was even more pleased! You couldn't even tell it was Cauliflower!! It had the perfect crunch also! Definitely a must!!

Coolest place for pizza in Lena right here. They checked every box for me. The pizza is phenomenal, the customer service is excellent, the atmosphere is nice, the dining area is small, but very clean, and it's just a lovely little place to eat lunch or dinner sometimes.
