Strickland Sod Farm

Spoke with both Angie and Robin on the phone. They both patiently answered my questions. We went there to pick up 3 pallets of Zoysia sod, which they were cutting for us when we got there! You can get any fresher than that! The ratio of soil to grass is excellent. It’s green and beautiful. The guys loading the trailer took the extra time to make sure our load was balanced. Would definitely buy from them again!

Strickland has always been the best sod around. They do a ton of new homes and have a great product. If you want your belly's rubbed go to Home Depot or Lowe's and get their sod.

We ordered 1 pallet and was instructed to pick up by 7:30. AM. Ordered our 2nd one and picked up the next day. Freshly cut and loaded on our pickup that morning. I would order from Stricklands all over again. Thank you!

Called and spoke to Angie who is a sweetheart. Great Price and they actually delivered and installed that very same day. Excellent customer service and a true pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I'm a retired Golf Course Superintendent, and my wife and I had our backyard resodded in late Jan.. The sod was of very high quality, the crew did an excellent job of prepping and installing the sod, and the price was very fair.

Called at 8 in morning to pick up 2 pallets of sod was told normally had to order it the day before and pick up next day she would see if any sod was avaible called me back in 5 minutes said it was picked it up and laid it same day great sod staff was great will be dealing with them again

I think the woman was very nice and was "happy to help out the home owner." We ordered half a pallet with delivery with no problem.

Sod always looks great! Angie is super busy but always calls you back, just be patient!

Woman who answered phone very abrupt. Didn’t want to answer my questions. Told me to call back when I wanted to get on the list for a 1 day to 3week delivery window and hung up!!

Bought ten pallets of sod. It looked green until the weeds started to die. Now have 10 pallets of grass dirt mix and it looks horrible. Asked for more sod to cover dirt areas due to the bad sod and was told they do not care. Go somewhere else and buyer beware. Sad how a local company treats locals. Not looking for extra service. Just standard customer service would be great from these guys. Office staff is a joke.

Called and the lady was very rude. Found out through the reviews that it must be the same lady still there. She asked if it was delivery or pickup and i asked about the prices and she said she couldn't give me the price for delivery cause Angie wasn't there. Then I asked about pickup and she went ahead and said they don't do pickup after she asked which one i was calling about. She must be sleeping with the owner if she ain't been fired and all these reviews about this woman for 5 years and running

This is not Judy, but rather her husband on her computer. I have a hauling business and woman called me today to see if we could rent her a trailer to pick up a load of sod she ordered from Strickland Sod Farm.
I asked the consumer what size the pallet would be so I could make sure to rent them the smallest and least expensive rental trailer, but she didn't know the size. SO...as a good businessman and kind person, I called Strickland Sod Farm and asked the women who answered the question..."could you please tell me what the dimensions of your sod pallets is, because someone is picking some up there next week and wants to rent a trailer to pick it up.
Now apparently, if you read most of the comments here you will see that I was shocked to see so many reviews that explained the exact same reaction to this "woman who answered the phone".
She got into this "what's the persons name, who are you, and then went into a rant of hate and rudeness I rarely see or hear.
Good luck with your business with this insanely rude person answering the phones an treating people on the other end of the line like garbage.
Do you actually WANT to sell sod? Doesn't seem like it. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Sorry I had to choose even one star. Bottom line...she shouldn't be allowed to speak with the public...just unbelievable...

It must depend on what day you call and whom you get. I just called for a quote for sod with questions only they could answer. The young woman could not have been more rude and unhelpful. Just her tone of voice was enough to make one want to hang up. All she could tell me was what they didn't do. So my guess is Strickland Sod does not need our business.

Interesting that this still goes on when we live in the age of Social Media and people are now prone to writing reports. I would have much preferred to write a positive report than one so negative.
