Jake is legit. I called him up and told him what I thought was wrong with my daughter’s jet ski. He confirmed that was the issue and gave me an estimate. He had it fixed within 2 days of getting the parts and we just got back from a 8 hour 2 day punishing of the ski and it operated flawlessly.

He also was 120 dollars cheaper than his low end estimate to fix it and did me a favor that would have cost 100 bucks at a dealer on top of all of this for free. Thank you Jake for being an honest person. You don’t find that much anymore. 1000% recommend.

First time bringing my Jet Ski here and Jake got me right in. My jet ski was running rough and 4 days later my jet ski was fixed. I had wiring problems and Jake was very reasonable on price to fix it. I was very impressed and I will come here again if I need service. Can't recommend enough!

A warning for all jet-skiers. DO NOT RIDE OVER YOUR TOW ROAP! It got sucked right in to the intake. He removed it from for, and he noticed I had a bad solenoid.
Replaced it and changed the oil and filter in just a couple days. All for $400.00. I'm very pleased and recommend this company.

I’ve been rebuilding skis all winter, from replacing pistons and honing cylinders and jet pump rebuilds. But figured I’d send off some carbs to be rebuilt correctly instead of me messing it up several times. Bolted them on and headed straight to the lake and they run great. I would recommend 865 for sure.

Jake was Amazing! We made a 3 hour trip to drop off a non running jet ski thinking we needed a new engine. Jake checked everything out and ended up finding some minor problems. He was very honest and helpful. Jake is very responsive and communicates well. We highly suggest using 865 Customz for your watercraft needs. Excellent work and very reasonable prices. I took 2 old Jet Skis (2000 Sea Doo and 2001 Kawasaki) and they were both fixed very quickly (within 1 day) and working great. Owner was more knowledgeable and much better service that someone else I previously used.

Had an almost catastrophic issue recently with my ski and he went above and beyond to get me back on the water without breaking the bank. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation and turned it into a big payday for himself! Just don’t find people like this anymore. Most shops only care about the $$$ and don’t care if you ever come back! That is not how Jake is wired. Has a very chill and relaxed personality. No salesman pressure to add things that are not needed. Don’t take your ski to one of the local stealerships until you have given him a chance to diagnose your issue.

Took two carburetors in from my 94 waveraider. Had them back in less than 24 hours and the ski has never run better. Excellent service, very reasonable prices

Overall, a good experience. I sent a message with details about what I thought was wrong with my jet ski and was given a prompt estimate. After evaluating the ski, I was given another estimate and suggestions to help improve the ski (it was difficult to start and not well maintained by previous owner). I was not in a hurry to get the ski back since it is off season, but took about 4 weeks through Thanksgiving and Christmas which is think is reasonable for the amount of work that was done (top end, starter, primer and replacing missing parts). Very reasonable pricing. I probably would have liked a little more communication on the status of things, but I got answers when I asked. The ski is working well now and happy with the work done and price. Will use again.

I live pretty far away. I called and asked a question hoping I could get some direction on a ski I’ve had issues with for 2 years, and my local dealer can’t seem to get any further than I have. I got a very knowledgeable answer from 865. If I lived closer I would definitely use these guys.

I cannot believe that five years ago Jake got a customer complaint regarding a 3-week. Over 4th of July weekend trying to get a repair job done. He should read this: I dropped my Yamaha ls2000 jet boat off at the Knoxville Premier SportsYamaha dealership in March. This was despite having previously left the boat with them twice for a manufacturer's design problem. The first time they wanted $1,400 to put kits in all of my carburetors before they would even look at the fuel pump issue, and the second time to make adjustments in the idle after I had rebuilt them myself (a $300 waist since the carbs obviously had recently been overhauled when I bought the boat). They fixed a ninor water leak but did not fix the primary problem I had taken it in for twice . I had no place else to take it. This time, I explained that I needed them to fix what they had not fixed before, so I could get it on the market soon as I wanted to buy a pontoon boat, and had particular interest in a new one that they had on the floor. 3 months later, after repeatedly checking via phone calls left on message machine with no return calls, and by showing up in person, and being told by the woman at the customer intercept desk that they were so busy prepping new boats for new customers they just hadn't time for my boats, I finally pulled my boat in frustration. Jake got my boat out less than a month during the height of summer. The guy disgruntled with Jake should at least be taken with many grains of salt. Jake was highly professional, true to his word, and has my boat running as smooth as a kitten for what I consider to be a very nominal price.

I had bought a 2000 seadoo gti and I took it out on the water and I noticed the carbs needed to be rebuilt and it needed a good service etc.
I’m from Asheville and nobody will work on older skis.
So I came across these guys, they messaged me back quickly took my ski down to them and now my jet ski runs perfect. I definitely recommend this shop, and I will be going back to these guys from now on!

Jake is top notch. I had an issue on Saturday over July 4th weekend. Sent him a message right after it happened. Gave me advice and even help with insurance estimates Sunday morning July 3rd. He gave me advice and knowledge on how to handle it. Truly a guy that wants to help me and not take advantage. Thank you Jake.

My old 2 stroke seadoo was in perfect shape, but started leaking oil and fouling plugs as the crankshaft seals deteriorated over time. Jake installed a new crankshaft and now it runs like new. Jake is knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I would recommend him for any jet ski problem.

Sunday afternoon, jet ski gets swamped and won't start after getting it drained!
Monday I call and speak with Jake, he says get it here ASAP and don't try to start it, as it may throw a rod through the engine. I take it to him and he stays after hours until I get there. He pulls the plugs and gets the water out of the cylinders. then explains what he'll do next and lets hope we got to it soon enough.
Tuesday he does multiple oil changes and looks over the rest of the craft, explains he's found some other areas of concern, but not major. Jake has my craft ready for pick up today and I'm back in the water playing!!!!

Will defiantly bring my other crafts back for repairs and maintenance in the future!!!
