Great place to get some ice cream. Not a lot of parking and limited seating. However they do have a drive through. We'll lit. Easy menu with lots of chooses. Kid friendly. Greatly price and big portions. Great staff. Very clean. Highly recommended

LOVE US SOME RODEO WHIP ICE CREAM! Lots of home made flavors & options. Black cherry is my favorite & hubby loves his banana split & toppings. They now offer ice cream cake to go. Inside seating & outside parking is pretty limited, especially mid-evening but there is a drive thru window. They also offer a Military Discount. Hankering for a great ice cream treat? Head to RODEO WHIP!

No one has homemade ice cream like Rodeo Whip! It costs a little more but it’s SOOO worth it! What great flavors and so many great add-in flavor combinations!

I love it when I can brag about a FIRST EXPERIENCE!! I came with my grandson as a treat to him, and I feel like I was the one who got the treat!! I ordered the cup of chocolate peanut butter and strawberry cheesecake. It was gone within 10 minutes of my arrival home!! Of course, I'll be back, but I'm bringing 6 more grands the next time!! I usually have a photo or few that I snap, but it didn't last long enough!!

Huge portions but good ice cream! Has a drive thru so you can get some good once cream on the go! Get the peanut butter sundae with chocolate syrup! Well priced!

Oh my wow was this place good! The drive through is pretty long, but wow it’s totally worth it!!! The hubby got the peanut butter fudge crunch which was to die for and I got the garbage pail which was a Heath bar ice cream with snickers, Reece’s and m&ms 😳😳
We will definitely be back and with more people!!

Talk about retro ice cream shoppe meets modern flavored ice cream. This is the cutest little ice cream shoppe with an impressive list of flavors. Brooke was amazing in allowing me to try a handful of flavors during my first visit and was patient with my decision making as truly, everything I tried was SO delicious and surprisingly, not what I expected, in a good way. There is often a wait here but it is worth every second! Highly recommend.

Delicious ice cream place in DeLand, FL. Rodeo Whip opened its door in October, 1983. 40 years of service. Wao!

We were first time customers today, but this certainly wont be our last visit. The attendants were so sweet and quick, especially since our order was slightly complicated (IMO) delicious treats with a great variety. You get what you pay for and this was worth it !

Best ice cream in town! My family and I have been going to Rodeo Whip since I was a kid. My favorite is garbage pail (vanilla ice cream + multiple kinds of small candy pieces). Their milkshakes and hard scoop ice cream are all delicious. 100% recommend to anyone who loves frozen treats!

The banana split was a 11/10!!! AND they give you a LOT of ice cream!!! I’ll be making this my new #1 ice cream shop. 😃

Went here earlier today with my bf. We walked in and got greeted right away evwn though the room was filled with customers. The person taking oir order was so kind and very helpful, it made me feel very comfortable in a place I've never been before. I wish i got their name. We didn't have to wait long at all, i ordered a swirl cone and my bf got a coffee flavor hard icecream. I was worried trying this place bc of some negative reviews, but i HIGHLY recommend coming here. Kind people, fast service, amazing icecream. (I love the little decor, its cute)

This is the most impressive ice cream shop I have ever been to! All the unique flavors are made from scratch at this place!
Serving sizes are huge, great combos! Very over the top service with very accurate with what you order! Many items for anyone to be able to enjoy ice cream, Gelato, malts, Sundays, banana splits (with extras), pop-ups for your furry friends! Drove past several times and were very busy, even at odd times but now understand why!
Can't think of anyone they couldn't serve, even allergies, lactose intolerant and sugar free, soft serve or hard ice cream options there's no limit!!
Great service, well staffed, clean and line moves quickly, so don't hesitate even if there are lines of cars or parking lot full of patrons inside... take the time to stop, grab a favorite or some combo that just sounds good!! You won't stop just once!!

Great 👍 ice cream..a little pricey..but what isn't these days

Some of the best soft Serve ice cream I have found. This place holds many memories for me as I have lived in the area for 24 years and would go there with my parents. I wish them many more years of prosperity as they are a landmark in DeLand.

The quality is top-notch. But, need to revamp the drive-thru entrance. The way it's set up is not user friendly. And without a speaker to order ahead of time the wait can be very long. Staff is wonderful. Products too. Classic Mom & Pop ice cream.
