I do a lot of online shopping which usually gets delivered by USPS. I'm constantly checking tracking for updates and they're always quick about getting my packages on the truck for delivery. Shoutout to our mailman with the Varney - Kirby St route. Hauling all my packages to my front door. You're the real MVP!

The downtown Peoria Post office, is just one of the nicest Postal Office I have ever been to. The staff they know everyone it seems they smile and visit when your at the window. And the same for the home delivery drivers. You are simply the best, great job

The post office was empty when I arrived at 10 and the gentleman who helped me was very nice. Soon others arrived and another man immediately came out to service the others. I have never had a bad experience at this post office in the 8 years I’ve been going there. They are professional and courteous.

These employees are awesome. I've been dealing with some of these men and women for 10 years. They are always polite, knowledgeable and FRIENDLY. It's a pleasure to have people who remember you!! We rented a mailbox last year and it's great not having to worry about stolen mail.

Excellent experience anytime I need counter service in the downtown Peoria post office. They're always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoy the time there.

I've traveled full-time for the last decade or more and I've utilized the USPS in various cities of 7 states and this location was the best of them all! I came in minutes before closing to get a POBox and Kellee helped me. She walked me through what I needed for my current situation and I left. She was very sweet. I came back the next morning with required information when they opened and she helped me again. She has phenomenal customer service skills! She's efficient, informative and quite frankly just a nice person. Her male co-worker was very nice as well. WELL DONE👏 Highly recommended 👍

Awesome staff here. My package was on a truck that arrived late in the morning to this office, which is the one that delivers to me. Instead of just letting the delivery date be changed like the website showed, a supervisor hand delivered the packages that were late to the appropriate drivers, and they were delivered on the original date a day early.

OK, this place is not is the most desirable neighborhood. However the postal workers here are some of the nicest people. I have had a PO Box at this location for over 10 years. Many tinea it is weeks until we go to get the mail. Even when this happens and thay have to lug a big bag to the counter. Not once have they been mean about it.

I had been waiting for a package. I get my mail at a large set of mail boxes. Large packages get put into special areas and a key gets left in my regular mail box. When I opened the special large mail box with the key that had been left in my regular mail box, the special large mail box was empty. Phone call to local office, and within 10 minutes my mail carrier was out and opened up the right large mail box for me and I was able to obtain my package. Very pleasant experience, very great customer service. Helpful and cheerful. Thank you everyone.

I've been a regular at this branch for fourteen years. They are always attentive and pleasant no matter the time of year.

I live in the state of Washington. i shipped a package to Peoria, and here was an issue that came up during delivery. The staff (especially Albert) was extremely helpful in determining what needed to be done for the package to get delivered, and really went above and beyond.
I only wish all post offices were this efficient.

People don't really write reviews for their post office unless they're mad about something. In this case, I just wanted to give these guys a quick shoutout for doing a critical, yet thankless job efficiently and with consistent courtesy. OK, I’ve been to a lot of post offices, and everyone here has been really quick and on-point and efficient and just friendly. Every time I’ve been here, which has been a lot.

Location was clean, shipping station fully stocked and tidy and the employee was courteous and speedy. No complaints. In and out in under 5.

Window clerks are always thorough and professional and friendly.
