## Twisted and Delighted at Twisted Chicken! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Man, where do I even begin? My recent visit to Twisted Chicken in Peoria was an absolute flavor explosion! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome and helped me navigate the menu, explaining the different heat levels and offering suggestions. I went with the classic 2-piece Twist Hot Tenders with a side of their **legendary Loaded Nashville Hot Fries**, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!

The tenders were perfectly cooked, juicy and crispy, and the Nashville Hot seasoning was **phenomenal**. Just the right amount of heat to get your taste buds tingling without being overwhelming, with a tangy, savory flavor that kept me coming back for more. But the real star of the show was the **Loaded Nashville Hot Fries**. These weren't your average fries – they were piled high with chicken tenders, fries, and a drizzle of that addictive creamy Nashville Hot sauce. Each bite was a delicious balance of textures and flavors, and the portion was generous enough to share (although I selfishly kept them all to myself!).

What truly elevates Twisted Chicken above the rest is the **outstanding service**. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. They made sure I had everything I needed.

If you're looking for **incredible chicken, mind-blowing fries, and top-notch service**, Twisted Chicken is the place to go. It's easily a 5-star experience, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious menu!

**P.S.** Don't forget to try the beignets - it's the perfect sweet dessert companion to all that spice!

Amazing food , chicken sandwich , fries, Mac and cheese all amazing , drinks have no sugar and I’m from the south so can’t do em , bland. But food is amazing , ate here twice in two days and it’s Bogo the whole combo

Oooh that’s tender! One year removed from a pilgrimage to Nashville to try out Hot Chicken for the first time I’ve been looking for a good chicken spot in AZ.

I’m pleased to report I found it. Twist Hot Chicken, breads huge pieces of chicken with their secret mix of spices and seasonings for a red hot chicken bite that will delight from the first peck.

Chicken is good - check. Now how hot can you take? - Let’s find out. When testing spice I’m looking for, “Did it still taste good?” My wife and I tried three different spice levels, Med, Hot and Can’t Touch This. I’m pleased to announce that all three had that same core flavor with different levels of heat for each. I would say Med is jalapeño hot, Hot is serrano and CTT is habanero. All were tasty and give you the option of how Hot you like to take your chicken.

Note: They also have Mild, but you’re an Arizonan not from NYC!!! I didn’t even bother trying it for you. :)

Several special dipping sauces allow you to customize your meal to your liking. Raspberry and guava chipotle was a sweet change of pace. Overall I recommend this restaurant and feel quite certain that the quality of hot chicken is enough to make any up and coming country music star cry with delight for a flavor as good as home.

Let me start off by saying — I like spicy foods. I have tasted some of the hottest peppers on the planet.
I asked the cashier how hot the “hot” flavor was (8+). He let me know the hot level had habanero in it. I should have recognized there that this was not a white man’s “hot”, this was a truly hot seasoning.
I got the twist chicken sandwich at the recommendation of the cashier man.
That sandwich was HOT. Like, gulping water and begging for mercy hot. Delicious seasoning, tender and juicy chicken, but if you are someone who likes average-level spicy foods (jalepenos, Serranos, sriracha) I would definitely recommend the medium. It is a more traditional level of “hot” than the hot level.

On a subsequent visit I got the combo with the fries, bread and slaw.
The fries were alright, the slaw was good. the fries could use a dusting of the same seasoning as the tenders! The lemonade was good too.

It’s a little pricey — but that’s pretty standard of Nashville style hot chicken places. I have been here a total of 3 times, and I haven’t been disappointed. The first time I went, the service was pretty slow though. I’m guessing they were a little busy and understaffed.

This location is very far for me, but if I'm ever in the area, I try to make it a point to come here. Their chicken has excellent flavor and I love their seasoned fries. They have different sodas but they are so good, I highly recommend the pineapple cream soda.

Where do I start🤔. I was intrigued to try this spot based upon an IG review. My friend and I were in Tempe and stopped thru. Steve a manager and Ray the Food server were beyond helpful in my decision making. Thankyou both for your hospitality and professional demeanor 😊My friend and I both ordered the HOT chicken with the lemon drizzle which came with fries and our choice of drink. I ordered the mac and cheese as well. When I tell you the food was 🔥 and 😋. Just choose your level of hot because that hot was HOT and I eat spicey food and it was HOT 🔥. I'm ordering from the Peoria location today. IT AINT NICE, IF YOU CANT DO IT TWICE 😋😋😋Bon appetite!

Spicy chicken sandwich was great, spice level was perfect since I like spicy, the wife got the medium and was also happy with the spice level. Fries were seasoned well and hot. Mac n cheese was just ok but very cheesy.

We loved this place! My husband loves a good spicy chicken sandwich and this place did not disappoint. He got the twist hot chicken, and I got the hot honey. I cannot handle too much spice and the mild was perfect. He got medium and loved it.

Very fresh and tender chicken. Bun was great, and their fries were delicious.

Also loved their selection of craft sodas, and the lemonade was pretty good.

We will be back to try the other flavors!

Very yummy food! Great service and clean place. The portion size is awesome! The chicken was cooked perfect and was juicy with lots of flavor. It took a little bit of time to get our order, but it was because they were cooking it fresh so I didn’t mind the wait. My only complaint is I think it is a little bit pricey for what you get. $12 for just a sandwich is a bit much. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Had the Hot Nashville Mac, and it was amazing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Very clean place with a calm atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Problematically delicious! Wow! The Moroccan Chicken sandwich has such a unique and unmistakable flavor. The one critique would be that it was too wet and the breading fell off. The fries were well seasoned and crunchy. The mac and cheese was Smokey and wonderfully cheesy. The mumbo bbq sauce and twist sauce were both amazing. Not pictured is the twist hot chicken sandwich, perfectly crispy. The best items I tried was the watermelon, mint, cucumber lemonade and the beignets. The drink was refreshing and cut through the heat. The beignets were fresh and fluffy and the chocolate sauce was so light but but not too sweet. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Wanted to try a new chicken place, so we gave Twist a try. I got the medium spice 2 chicken tenders with ranch, raspberry guava chipotle, twist sauce, and creamy Nashville. The chicken was cooked PERFECTLY and had a great crunch to the skin, the tender sizes were really generous, and the flavor of the dipping sauces were awesome. The fries & coleslaw were really good too.

The only thing I’d say is BEWARE— if you can’t handle heat, go with the mild, not the medium. I was expecting the medium to be like most chicken/wing places where it’s got a slight kick of heat to it, but it is FREAKIN HOT. My husband LOVES heat and eating things that’ll burn his taste buds off and he literally has to suffer through eating, and even he said it was way hotter than expected for a medium. The flavor was good just to be clear, but it was HOT, the kind of heat that is instant, lingers around and is hard to get rid of 🥵

All in all, really loved Twist & will be back to give their mild a shot!

Went their opening day. The staff was friendly. Nice corner spot. Very nice design and layout. Now the food!!!! Delicious. The Mac and cheese with the pulled pork added my favorite. The Nashville Loaded fries was delicious. I didn't like the cheese curds, but the fries were soft and crunchy. And the sauce they put on it. EXTRA PLEASE. 😁

Saw this place on drive home decided to pop in the next day for lunch. It was busy but, Kyle was quick and super polite. The chicken sizes are pretty massive and the spicy is just how I like it, options spicy enough to make you sweat. They carry their own version of flavored sodas which was nice and some beer options too. The sauces I tried were creamy Nashville and twist sauce. I wasn't sure which one was which but both were good. I'm not a coleslaw person and I also enjoyed that.Fries were crispy ND the tenders were moist. It was clean nice spot for a quick bite. Plan to be back to try other food options. They even have vegan items to choose from.We waited outside for the food and they even brought it to us. Everyone needs to check this place out.

Update! Still the best but now even better crinkle cut fries. The hot honey and prickly pear lemonade were amazing. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had.

This place never disappoints! The sandwiches are amazing I have had everything on the menu at least once and the only thing I don't absolutely love is the nashville blues and that's only because I'm not fond of blue cheese, it's a great sandwich, The Honey Hot I pretty much get it every time now. The scale of these sandwiches is ridiculous! The value is unmatched. Venue may be smaller but I find myself ordering on the way home and watching Rings of Power on TV with the wife. I think the world needs more of these! Service has never been a problem, cleanliness packaging, portion, value, branding, customer satisfaction etc. I'm a fan!

Wow! We loved it. The Hot Moroccan chicken sandwich was as delicious as it was messy. It had an enjoyable burst of flavors and textures, and the Hot Mac was wonderful as well. The cucumber water was on point and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

This is so much more than your normal chicken sandwich. First of all it’s huge. Second the flavor is fantastic. I had the ‘hot honey’ which had mild spicy coated with honey on a bun with pickle. Oh man words can describe it. Just that good. Also had a bowl of Mac salad, that was a meal alone paired perfectly with the sandwich. Topped it all of with the beignets and was so glad I did. My coworkers had the tenders which again are huge. Not like the other guys. There is nothing on the menu I wouldn’t recommend. Make the trip it’s worth it.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time because the food always looked so delicious.

The chicken is phenomenal and they do not play around with the heat!! I ordered the medium tenders. I can handle spice and this was up there. My husband ordered the hot sandwich. He enjoyed it, said it was very messy (not necessarily bad) but he'd probably just order tenders the next time.

The fries with the cheese curds are amazing and the sauces are also phenomenal! We ordered the Mac and cheese for my daughter, she decided to not eat but my husband and I enjoyed it too!

Also, not usually something I really care too much about but the sodas are top notch!

Mine and my husbands chicken spot has always been Crazies but when I saw twist I immediately googled them and saw they were gonna be opening soon and I couldn't wait! Today we were driving around and decided to check and see if they were open yet and to our surprise they were! I ordered the medium chicken sandwich without coleslaw and it was actually a medium heat that I could handle on an amazing bun the sandwich was so big I could hardly put it in my mouth. The french fry's with cheese curds were 10/10! I'm blessed to say I live down the street from the best hot chicken!! Also, the soda is amazing and the workers are extremely kind and friendly. 🐔🍗
