Honey Hut Ice Cream

I got a waffle cone with chocolate ice cream and chocolate-peanut butter. My mother grew up going to Honey Hut so I’ve always heard how good it is! The ice cream is made with honey, making it super creamy and delicious. The service was also pretty quick, even with a line.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! I got salted caramel ice cream with cookie dough bites. The cookie dough bites were soft and delicious to finish off the whole dish!!

Celebrating another year around the sun with a longtime favorite - Butter Pecan sundae with their Honey Pecan ice cream. I grew up eating Honey Hut from the original (Old Brooklyn) and State Rd locations. The closest Honey Huts for me now are Solon and Brecksville. Of the many locations, their flavors are always spot on and consistent across the locations. This has really made my day!

Chocolate. The banana spilt is the best I’ve ever had and that damn the banana foster changed the whole family’s outlook on ice cream. Nice workers too is the cherry on top but anybody could serve this ice cream to me and I would be happy.

THIS PLACE HAS BLACKBERRY ICE CREAM!!!!! I am soooo happy that honey hut has blackberry ice cream bc it’s so hard to find it anywhere around here to my knowledge. You know I had to buy a pint to take home with me. The ice cream tastes authentic with real ingredients and a great texture. They also have other great flavors too like their salted caramel. Not too salty, not too sweet. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a bit of a drive from Akron but I don’t mind as it’s worth it

After a long day of hiking, there’s something refreshing about some nice ice cream. It didn’t matter that it was pretty cold out, I wanted ice cream. We came here and we’re extremely happy. It’s relatively cheap, the staff were really friendly, and it was nice to sit outside on the patio. Highly recommend if anyone is around.

I have to say having a wonderful medium scoop of Honey hut ice cream that I know is 100% homemade was absolutely delicious. I would definitely suggest a waffle cone the one with the sprinkles on it. It was so fresh tasting and it was wonderful and it wasn’t that fake chocolate stuff. My particular favorite is mint chocolate chip, however whatever your favorite flavor is I’m sure you would not be disappointed. The service was quick and easy, the people were friendly the place was clean. And they offer outdoor seating. And they have a freezer in which you can purchase ice cream for your own freezer.

I live a little farther away from honey hut than some other ice cream shops, but its worth the drive. I love it so much. Maybe a little too much. In addition to a great product, the service is always excellent. Thank you honey hut, and please keep up the good work.

Excellent Cleveland area ice cream company. Very good unique flavors sticking to their theme of honey. Tried the honey Graham & coconut, both were amazing, great texture, mouth feel & not overly sweet. Excellent service & staff. Ill be back regularly

So I'll tell you a little story . My wife and I were in Brecksville for a little mission to pick up a gift . We spotted this place and being 90 degrees we went in to try it out . The young ladies were very nice and helpful . The place is spotless . I could practically lick the floor 🙂 . The icecream is sweetened with honey . It's very dense for a lack of better words . I had the honey pecan which was delicious and my wife had the fresh banana which was also delicious . We would make a special trip to come back and for us that's little over half hour drive . If you're in the area come in and see these nice young ladies and try out a few flavors you're not likely to be disappointed .

I love this place! They have an incredible assortment of flavors, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the ice cream is fantastic and comes in generous portions. I've never had to wait too long even on hot days. Parking is a bit tight, but that's just the entire plaza they are in.

Hands down (as they say) the best ice cream ever. Rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor. Chocolate-peanut butter with actual wedges of peanut butter? Yes!! It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but we sure don't mind the drive with that kind of reward. Clean, friendly and worth every penny! Oh, and there is a Little Free Library next door, too.

As always, delicious ice cream and very kind, friendly, and efficient staff. Highly recommend visiting if you never have. Pro tip: go to the brecksville one, get your ice cream, and immediately drive east - there's an entrance to the parks very close to there and you can enjoy your ice cream in peace.

So, my boyfriend and sister in law went to this location and got a bunch of stuff. We ended up getting something wrong and live about 20 minutes away. So I doordashed from the small selection they have and left in my notes what had happened and they corrected my mistake and gave my what I bought. Great service and I’m so grateful they fixed it for me!

You can beat great ice cream! Amazing flavors, monthly/daily flavors too!

I've been coming here since I was born (as part of a family that passes on their honey hut love through the generations). This place holds so many memories. Right now, while there are no crowded lines where you stare at destroyer pictures and sit on the benches and tables with strangers on a summer night to enjoy your cones, Honey Hut continues to give delicious, mouth-watering ice cream as it shows care for the community by enforcing social distancing policies. Since the summer has really only begun, I'll definitely be back soon!
