Crystal Coast Country Club

Barb and her staff were amazing to work with for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party on August 25, 2023. The Crystal Coast Country Club is a beautiful event venue to host any sort of function. We loved how you could do so much with their space. CCCC closed off part of the ballroom making us have an intimate rehearsal dinner. Then we transitioned to the beautiful lawn for our welcome party where all 240 guests arrived after our rehearsal dinner. We had cocktails and live music on the beautiful lawn enjoying the beautiful sunset on the water. All of our groomsmen even got to enjoy a round of golf earlier in the day, which they all raved over the great course.
Barb was very easy to work with, and we absolutely loved having our special event the night before our wedding here. It made our dream wedding weekend of events come true.

There’s no 6-star option so 5 will have to do. Greens were firm and fast. Fairways and tee boxes were pristine. A short driving range but the balls are included in the green fee. Restaurant is also great and the staff in the restaurant, pro shop, and outside were all polite and respectful. Like I said, there’s no 6-star option so 5 will have to do. It was pricey, but treat yourself this one time, it’ll be well worth it. Will definitely be back in the future.

Very beautiful course, great play while on vacation. Has some fun challenges but overall a smooth course. Best greens I’ve ever played on!

Great golf course. I played today, Nov 21 2022 for my first time and it was a bit windy and chilly. The course is very nice, fastest greens I’ve played in 2 years. Sort of tight fairways. The greens are sort of small and weren’t really receptive of the balls even on high angles approach shots. Part of the course are so close, players on other holes can blindly accidentally hit other players on other holes, I almost did and it almost happened to me. Had fun even though I played alone. Lost 9 balls and still shot a 104. I’ll play again…just when it’s less windy, if that’s possible being on the island.

Wow! Played this course for the first time in 15 years. Talk about a complete turnaround? This is absolutely one of the nicest courses in this area. Amazing atmosphere beautifully maintained with some of the most true greens around. If you're sleeping on this course you're missing out because it's hands down one of the nicest you will find here.

Where do I start?! Barb and the awesome staff at the Crystal Coast Country Club made our day so enjoyable! My husband and I got married at the CCCC April 30th, 2022 and ever since we booked the CCCC back in 2020, Barb has made our planning process so easy and seamless! 10/10 would recommend you having your wedding here. Not to mention the breathtaking views and scenery! The club is already so beautifully decorated that you really don’t need to add much in way of wedding decor. Barb was also great in allowing us to borrow charger plates they had leftover from a previous wedding, vases, and candleholders. Which was a huge money saver and they elevated our wedding so nicely. Family and friends are still talking about how beautiful and breathtaking the venue was. And you might get lucky like us and have dolphins out in the sound before you walk down the aisle!

Nice little course tucked away on the island. Friendly staff and it was in good condition.

The golf course wasn't long but the greens were challenging. The staff was very friendly and the service offered by the golf course staff and the wait staff was excellent. If shrimp bisque is the soup of the day, order it.

Played a twilight round on August 10. The course renovations were long overdue and OMG what a fabulous job they did! The entire course from tee to green is in fabulous shape. The greens are immaculate, receptive to short iron shots and roll true and fast. Would love to see AM tee times offered to the public, but will not complain with the afternoon offering. Only gripe…more of an inconvenience…carts are GPS controlled and frequently locked up on cart paths thinking it was off course. After the 12th time…you get used to it. Do yourself a favor and play here😉

Pricey, but worth it for vacation golf. Beautiful scenery, super friendly staff (Frank at the clubhouse was great), and great layout for the course. Other reviews mentioned bad conditions, but everything we saw was pristine. Highly recommended!

A wedding at Crystal Coast Country Club was so dreamy! The clear tent allowed the magnificent Carolina sunset to be seen. During their first dance as Husband and Wife, the late sky was glowing, as if to say " Congratulations " 🎉 to Liza and Bryant. Everything about this evening was so elegant, from the white dinner jackets to the design of the square cake. Hats off to the fabulous design teams of @acarolinasoiree and @crystalcoastccweddings in making this evenings celebration a perfection of visual delight.

Great wedding venue in Crystal Coast! We had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here over the years. We love the new renovations to the main ballroom. The wood floors are beautiful! Barbara is great to work with and really cares about every bride she works with.

We had a lovely evening celebrating New Year Eve. Steak was perfect, shrimp were large, salad was fresh, the drinks were strong and the service was divine . The band was okay but we loved the hats and glasses they provided. We hope to golf in the spring.

Beautiful golf course! Great layout and the view at 10th tee is awesome. Work being done for the island green will really pay off.
Staff is great. Cameron in the pro shop was terrific to deal with, and Justin on carts was also great. Nice experience overall at Crystal Coast!!

Crystal Coast CC is a lot of fun, and very challenging. Narrow fairways and tough greens. The greens are really good, some of the best I have putted. True, and smooth. They are firm but very receptive to a good shot. Very similar to the greens at Pinehurst #2. Just roll pure. The staff there are very nice and welcoming, thanks for a great experience at Crystal Coast Country Club.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception here in September, and Crystal Coast Country Club was nothing but perfect!! Barb, and the entire staff who helped on our wedding day, were so incredible and helpful. Even with the high winds and rain, and power outage the morning of, everything ended up being better than we ever could have expected. The food was also incredible - we are still hearing guests rave over how good the chef's BBQ was! If you are planning a NC wedding, I would recommend using Crystal Coast Country Club (and Barb) for your perfect day!

Or daughter choose this place to host her wedding. The entire staff, from the manager to the wait staff greatly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect from the first visit to the last guest leaving the reception. We had no complaints or concerns. The bar and wait staff were professional, friendly, and very attentive to everyone's needs. We could not have asked for more. I give this place my strongest recommendation.

Great place, great management, fantastic staff! The course is tough but fair.

It is one of the best conditioned courses in North Carolina. About 2 1/2 years ago, the course went through a massive renovation. It also had new owners who spent about 4 million on the course and clubhouse. Every blade of grass was perfect. They just went private, meaning members only. The only drawback is limited space on the island 🏝 they have stretched the course about as long as possible.

Absolutely beautiful, well maintained course that is priced well and provides a nice challenge. My favorite course in the area by far!
