Tower 7 Baja Mexican Grill

Me and my husband went to the grand opening of tower 7! The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was electric. The live music was a bonus. They have really updated the place with a full remodel since ruddy duck and dare I say WOW. The outside bar/deck area was so beautiful with a great view of the water. The manager Shawn was very attentive to us and even brought out our food and asked us how we were doing multiple times. Overall amazing experience 10/10 would recommend wish I could give this place more than five stars! This will definitely be my new hangout spot for the summer.

Food and service were top notch. Went in for dinner and had the steak fajitas- not a single piece of fat or bad meat- and tons of peppers and onions- caramelized beautifully and sizzling fiercely! Fresh sides- rice was bland- beans were good. Triple B quesadillas were great- full of meat and toppings- bbq sauce was very flavorful! Tue So Cal burrito was very good too- the pitcher of margaritas was absolutely perfect!
Our server ( Christine) was amazing!!! She checked on us frequently, brought us everything we needed- and even anticipated what we may need. She is a real asset to this restaurant!
When we are back in the are we will definitely stop by!

Shout out to Thomas - our fabulous waiter who made everything fun! We were a party of 8 and the service was amazing. We were promptly served drinks, apps and dinner. It’s rare that a party of 8 gets their food all at once…several people contributed to the delivery of our meals so it all arrived at the same time. Pitchers of margaritas were delicious, and the dessert brownie was over the top yummy. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch. The establishment is clean, bright and open. The staff were amazing and the food was phenomenal. The attention to detail shows in every part of the experience. Beautiful view of the water way including boats on a beautiful afternoon.
We loved it and we plan to make it part of our favorites list.

We had the lunch special: shrimp burger.
Shrimp was not light on the breading, cooked perfect to my taste. Cole Slaw had a remoulade sauce and grilled bun. It came with French fries. The ketchup tasted homemade. Very tasteful. Open 7 days a week. We'll be back, for sure.

Just a great meal last night. The chips were warm, the salsa was spicy but had a great flavor, the fajitas were perfectly done and came with all the sides you’d want, but the number one best thing was our server. She was lovely, funny, engaging, and just a really nice young woman. I can’t think of a single down side for this place. Well done and thank you for the great meal!

We attended their pre-reopening event and were blown away. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was great. The food was a complete step up. Portion size is massive, in a good way. The tune tacos were my favorite, the shrimp on the fajitas was perfect and all of my kids loved the rice and beans. The skinny spicy margarita was excellent and really clean. Thank you for such a great local experience.

We ate here for the first time last night and had an enjoyable meal. Food was good. The salsa that comes with the chips was spicy! We got the queso, husband got the tacos and I got the enchiladas. We were able to sit outside on the covered dock area which we loved. There’s also a nice lounge area and bar on the dock that would be awesome to enjoy on a kid free night.

We were looking for somewhere with a good frozen margarita and we found that and more!! The food was fantastic, chips and salsa were very fresh. The food was great! I got the Baja fish burrito, highly recommend! My husband got fajita quesadillas, very good too. Our server Elizabeth, made it even better! She saw how much my husband like their sauce and salsa, so she sent us home with a bag of chips with the salsa and sauce to go!! We highly recommend this place! Right on the water too. Said they were redoing their bar, I’m sure it’ll look fantastic when it’s done!

Excellent location, Margaritas, food and service!

The skinny patron Margarita was one of the best I've had and I believe it was made from scratch instead of a mix, my husband enjoyed his house Margarita as well. Enjoyed chatting with the excellent bartender.

We loved the food! Salsa, chips and guacamole were good. We split a grilled chicken quesadilla that was great, and the ACP was excellent; the best cheese sauce I've ever had and the chicken was very tender.

All the servers were friendly and our waiter William was excellent.

This is one of my positive reviews. Tower 7 in Morehead City offers a pleasant dining experience that's as delightful as the scenery it provides. The views alone are worth it. My server was a young woman by the name of Cynthia who clearly understands the business. I like her service because she doesn't bother you unnecessarily yet my water or my drinks are always always taken are of. That's all I ask, let eat in peace, let me enjoy the view, I don't want to chat and please bring me my drinks. Thank you Cynthia for making our dining experience special. 10 /10. Five stars.

The new remodel is AMAZING! The food is great! I ordered the island shrimp wrap, and it was delicious!!! The drinks were so good, I got a cantinerita, those are dangerously good. The staff was also just wonderful so friendly.

My sister and I, along with our four children, visited your new location on the Morehead City waterfront earlier this afternoon. Excellent staff and service, everyone is very friendly and helpful, can really tell teamwork is something implemented here which is lovely. Relaxing atmosphere, complete with a beautiful waterfront view, overlooking Sugarloaf Island and Bogue Sound. Restaurant and restrooms are sanitized. Indoor and partially shaded outdoor seating availability. Food and drinks were amazing; fresh, delicious ingredients with pleasantly interesting flavors. Highly recommend the Killer Carne Enchiladas, it was so amazing, I ordered a second one to take home to my mother, which she's thoroughly enjoying as I write this review. Plenty of delicious options for children too. My kids and I are big fans of all of your Wilmington locations, as we used to live there, but had been missing out since we relocated back to my hometown here a couple years ago, but that all has changed now that you're here. My only critique is I hope you bring ELOTES (Street Corn) to this location, it's soooo good. Shout out to the General Manager on a job well done, we met him and he's wonderful. Good job everyone! Taking the place of Ruddy Duck Tavern, Tower 7 is located on the waterfront in Morehead City. We have been twice now and both times we have had great service and delicious food. To top it off, we eat outside where you can sit under an umbrella to get away from the sun while still enjoying the sea breeze and boat traffic! We will be back!

This spot has done a complete 180. Food has been great. The servers have been attentive. Can't beat the view. Best part for me is they are dog friendly on the patio.

Everything was EXCELLENT from Charity's service, to the manager and other staff checking if everything was to our liking, to the mouth watering food (we had the Baja and mahi mahi tacos and shrimp enchiladas). It is on the high end of medium but the food and drinks are worth it! And what a better way to spend the afternoon than on the water. We'll definitely be back when we're in town!

They really did a great job remodeling again! The place is open and airy and really has a great vibe. We were there on Memorial Day and they were slammed but were doing a great job with a good attitude.
Food was excellent, Marguerita was awesome, and JB took great care of us.

Definitely check it out!

My husband and I visited this restaurant about 3 weeks ago while on a quick trip to Morehead City. I am a very picky eater with dietary restrictions, so I did not expect there will be much for me. The wait staff, while still in training, was very accommodative and caring. They double checked the items on the menu with the kitchen to ensure my choice did not contain allergens. Hard to believe but it was my first time trying fajitas (vegetable) and it was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed live music and sunset picturesque view over the water on the back deck.

An absolutely wonderful establishment... The food, staff, atmosphere, and views are simply amazing... Whether you enjoy indoor dining or enjoy sitting out on the patio overlooking the water, you can't go wrong with a visit to Tower 7... My wife and I will be back very soon...
