Streetcar Cafe

07/13/2024 - I visited Streetcar Cafe and ordered my dinner to go. Nice small restaurant serving some deliciousness. I ordered their Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich with French Fries and an order of their beignets. YUMMY. Everything tasted seasoned and well cooked. The interior decor is comfortable with some wall decor. You may dine inside or outside. Their outdoor dining is not an intimate setting. Nice and friendly staff. Parking available out front or nearby for a fee.

Awesome place to eat. Alice was excellent and and very attentive. Portion sizes was great for the money. Differently got our monies worth. They have great drinks and desserts. Thanks for service Alice! Made our to NO worth it!

I was impressed with the service and food. We stopped in for a quick bite.

French toast - great. Not too sweet or too much cinnamon.

Eggs Benedict - hollandaise sauce was amazing. And potatoes seasoned amazingly.

The recommended butter pecan latte is so good. Bravo Tiffany.

Walked around here because of the reviews. Jess’s was great. Very patient and nice. The food was good. Not many veggie options, but I got the green beans and they were great! Food came out super quick and the Gold Digger is a very nice drink!

So good, we aye here twice! The food and drinks are excellent and the service is always awesome! Judith is so sweet and has great suggestions on what to try. Totally recommend this spot as a place to eat or even just to grab a quiet drink. Try the King Cake Martini!

Highly recommend Streetcar Cafe. We had the New Orleans sampler with red beans & rice, gumbo, & jambalaya and the veggie pasta. Absolutely loved the pasta. Judith was super sweet and the atmosphere is great.

We tried the alligator bites which were not breaded (gf) and delicious! My son (9 yrs old) loved the burger and a side of rice. He is a very picky eater. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the red fish and my Cajun pasta was also delish and not too spicy. Wonderful experience.

Was not the restaurant we were originally headed to, but for various reasons, it is where we ended up. Lucky us. The meals we had were the seafood pasta, the shrimp po-boy and the hamburger. It was all really good. Just an FYI you get (what I consider) a big portion. None of us finished our meal. Everything came to the table super hot and fresh. They do not skimp on anything. The pasta was loaded down with shrimp and crayfish, in fact, I am pretty sure I had more seafood than the penne pasta in my dish. The sauce was yummy and just spicy enough. The po-boy had so much shrimp you could not fold the roll closed until we ate some of the shrimp first. The hamburger was abundant and cooked perfectly. The French fries were fresh and crisp and filled the plates. The ice tea was good and the Tales of Bourbon Street, was so so delicious. The restaurant is a cute little place, clean and friendly. The staff were nice, friendly and efficient. Definitely a place to go back to.

Amazing little cafe right next to our hotel. Very friendly staff. Food was SO good. I had the crab cake benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly! The pancakes are very good too! I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet little cafe outside of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Jessa was super friendly, the fry on the shrimp, fish and gator was perfectly light and crisp. Delicious meal and don’t forget the beignets! Soft, pillowy and the right amount of chew.

The food here is amazing and extremely affordable. Service is also fast. Food is well prepared. Kudos to the Chef... Jessa, our server was the best. So sweet and w as able to recommend some delicious dishes. We ate here 3 times during our conference. Love it and will definitely eat there again. Thanks Jessa for being such a great host. ❤❤❤❤❤

The service was great, and the food was very tasty, and fresh. The prices are very reasonable. The meals are $10-$20. They serve breakfast & lunch. Maybe dinner?

It was a wonderful dining experience. They play some of the old standards for music, which gave the place an olde timey feel to it. Etta James and Dean Martin sing over the speakers as you enjoy your Cajun omelet, for example. My omelet was delicious 😋!

The Service Is Fantastic And The Food Is Awesome, Me And The Family Were Blown Away. Our Server, Jessa, Was The Bomb And She Kept Us Served Up. Everything Was FANTASTIC And We Will Definitely Be Back For More Fantastic Food. A New Top 10 On My List From New Orleans.

Casual place to eat all day. Was originally not expecting the amount of food received but was a happy surprise. The veggie omelet was loaded with veggies, fresh, hot, and perfect after a long morning of travel.

Food was really good. The atmosphere is very nice, calm, and relaxing. Prices were reasonable. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. Her name was Jessa and she provided excellent service. I definitely recommend stopping in when you are in New Orleans!!

Lovely cafe with hearty, tasty, non pretentious food. We were a large group including little kids and we had breakfast. Very kid friendly place. Service is excellent. Standard breakfast fare served quick and with a smile. Grit and biscuits were good, so were omelettes. Staff was accommodating of our requests. We liked it so much that we went back another time during our stay. Cant recommend enough! They open early (7 am).

The food and atmosphere are amazing here. The staff are friendly to customers and to themselves which demonstrates a healthy work environment.

My brunch plate was awesome and my husband's Taste of New Orleans (trio of local dishes) was great. The biscuits we both got were top-notch. And the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was cute and un-fussy. And the service was prompt and friendly. We'd definitely go back.
